Mr. T never mentioned though that only those that were 20+ years at Walmart (uninterrupted) will get the $1,000, the rest far less and those with less than 1 or 2 years (can't remember) seniority get nothing. Considering the high staff turnover at Walmart, I suspect that those getting any bonus is maybe in the high hundreds from 10,000's of employees. On top, only a few days later Walmart announced the closure of dozens of stores laying off thousands of people.
2. Walmart made the decision to increase wages months before the tax bill after one of its competitors increased the minimum salary to $11 / hour (IIRC). Again, any good economist will tell you that any developed country with an unemployment rate of less than 5% will see wages increasing as it becomes harder to find workers and companies must compete to get the best for them, hence they offer higher wages and salaries. Economy 101, not Mr.T's accomplishment!
I am just wondering whether Americans actually inform themselves to see that he permanently lies or are they so infatuated with him that he could really shoot somebody in the street and they would still love him.
And before you start again, Mr. T will never have my respect as he massively and repeatedly disrespected my chancellor (and i am sure, only because she is a woman and more powerful than him) but he chose to give full respect to "wannabee" dictators such as Erdogan, el-Sisi and Duterte.
