Power Blackjack Strategy

Hi

Does any one knows what this strategy is about? Surely a funny progressive betting strategy scam.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Has Cipher started a new scamsi....err, website?

https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/threads/16265/

The ebook is great, if you want a good laugh. All it talks about is "how much you can make". It has nothing to do with actually playing the game

The not so funny story behind my question is that a player lost in our casino using this strategy and claim our software to be ridged as he was supposed to win x$ per hours for sure!

They claim on that site to have a 100% moneyback guarantee. Has the player tried to go that route?

Even so, I think that's enough grounds to get his site shutdown for good.

I should order it to share it with all of you but it p. me off to give those scammer some cash!

I'll advise the player to ask for the refund but he might get even more angry about our casino. Maybe just better to give him a kickback and advise him not to get trap in any system that claim to win 100% of the times.

What do you think?

I'd refund his deposit, but that's just my 2c :p

..Along with a letter explaining how he got scammed in the first place, and letting him know that it's not going to work at 9 out of 10 casinos he tries to "get rich quick" at.

Too funny!

Anyone who pays for a "guaranteed winning system" gets what they deserve!
No-one in their right mind who ever really did invent such a system would EVER think about selling it.

Tell him to try my system - it's free & I guarantee nothing!
(But I win (nearly) all the time)
:p

The player blew $60 on a blackjack strategy on a site which prominently featured roulette and craps photos. I suggest politely suggesting to your customer that he might be too stupid to live.

Too bad the moneyback guarantee only applies to the price of the book, not the losses.

Oh, I just saw a report on another forum about this. A) it's some sort of counting system combined with a progression system (nothing big there), and b) the guy was not able to get his money refunded.

We refund 50% of the player lost of $1000 (500$) and advise him to read about betting strategy by the wizard of odds.

The player was "only" 20 which made me took this decision to refund him partially, it should also be a lesson to be learned not to blindly trust anything written on the internet.

Here's a note on the "author". Do a quick search and you'll find more articles on this fella, most likely a former pyramid scam artist and used car salesman.

Well, first off - I've lost my SHARE on casinoes during the last 15 years, and we are not talking twinkies here. However, there are certain scenarios where I must laugh aswell. As noted in a few threads here and there I have my thoughts and opinions about much - but in this case my opinion is pretty clear, :D

You should have refunded 0. A person bying such a "system" is plain stupid and havn't got the brains to deserve a pat on his shoulder. It's like bying a perfect lotto/bingo system which claims to make you a millionaire in the next month... Where are all theese millionaires? Come on, if it were that easy Las vegas would be broke in a day!

Only 20? I started gambling when I was 16, using that reasoning I should get some of theese kickbacks aswell - I'm only 32 - and have my whole life infront of me, :D

XXLClubCasino, in this case you were far to generous - since the fact of the matter is that the user was using a "fool proof" system... Which NEVER works anyway, his views on the casino software then becomes totally void - since the basis of his play can't work.

Since this kid was only 20, he is definitely young and naive. By only refunding half of his money, he will learn a lesson, but not as expensive as it could have been. Think about it...were we all rocket scientists at 20? Nahhh...Greed plays a bigger part in decision making when you're 20, compared to common sense.

The casino was showing "good faith" in returning part of his deposit, and I think that he will remember that down the road when he does have some common sense, and possibly return to the casino. :)

Funny and sad at the same time to see what peoples get themself into. If it was possible to do that, do you think Casinos would still be in business ?

I bet this "technique" involve playing blackjack using the martingale system. Yes you can win, but in the long term, you'll endup hitting the table maximum bet and loose everything.

That was a nice gesture. However, in this case, I don't think you should have refunded him anything. The whole situation sounds ridiculous. A player bought into an obvious scam, then blamed your casino rather than the author when he didn't win? An attorney may be able to assist with recovering the player's losses, depending on the terms and wording of the Power Blackjack site.

If he wasn't 20 I wouldn't have refunded him, also after explaining him briefly that no betting strategy would turn the house hedge in the players favor. He then understood the situation and apologizes for accusing the casino instead of the betting system and his own naivety.

Also he is currently (and I just believed him) in a difficult financial situation, this will also explain partially the reason he wanted to believe so strongly in this system.

I could have refunded him the total but definitely wanted him to learn from his mistake. We clearly feel responsible for our players and definitely do not want to drag players down.

I believe most of you would have done the same, for us it's "only" $500 but might be a LOT for this youngster.

Hi!

Hi there,

I'm ok with your points XXL CLUB, however...by giving them 50% loss back, it's not a good idea!

All people there have already been young.. (Me also..not to far a long) , and lost considerable amount trying to win. And never asked to get amount back.. error it's error and only the person can learn that. It's a good gestature of you..and i'm sure the guys appreciated it. But... why only people angry and told your software rigged can receive an reward?

My brother-in-law works in a hospital, I know that that is not compared with a casino but I will put a setting to you in situation.

1- A sick customer not very happy and not much sick is annoyed towards the employee. Request has to be been useful and to wash immediately and this everyday!

2- A customer much sicker endures the evil and keeps its calms and waits peacefully her turn

Who according to you will be been useful in first? The first one!!!!
For me..i know hospital and casino isn't the same thing but the situation are the same. People cry can always can some thing more than people wait and are friendly.

Some years ago..i've lost over 10K (A truly big amount) for me (And was in a very very difficult period times) , (And lost a good amount in your casino) and lost it fair..trying to win big..and never asked to get some chips back. I've learned by my error. Never a real casino will refund any money to people lose.. why? Cause the term are there..you accept people at 18..if they wins, the players must be paid..but if they lose it's not your problem. You can tell him to consult a anti-gambling association..and simply to refuse it's customer again to don't have this guys in head again.

I consider it's not a good ideas to give him back 500$...cause, this guys one days or another will come back plays with you..and tell her friend "Probably same age and gambler" to come play with you.

Told me what you think,
It's the way i think.

Sorry for my english, i wrote the best that i can. I'm native french.:)
Cheers,
Simon

Great example. On the other hand, as you point out yourself - this is usually the way it works in every business. We, running a company (I run something completely different) usually pay more attention to the ones crying the loudest... We want to make people happy, so we forget about the ones we SHOULD pay attention to.

simon1316 you surely have a good point here.

First, maybe I should not have post about the player refund but I trust this forum is open for discussion; it's also a good way to feel the pulse of the industry and exchange new ideas with players we normally would not hear from.

I enjoy participating in this forum and it helps me a lot to better understand players needs and wants.

By default we give between 5-10% kickbacks to players on every lost (for very small deposit with a max withdraw limit), this is a costly part of our business strategy but we feel this to be a good way to bind our customers and give back part of our income to them.

The most difficult part of our job is to try to make all players happy, this is almost impossible as we can't have a one to one relationship with all our players on a daily basis.

Players have very different tastes some get directly angry when you try to communicate with them through the chat as they don't want to be disturbed, some like to receive a simple "hello, welcome back frank" which gives the virtual casino a human touch. The same is valid for bonus and kickbacks given. We are working every day to improve our services and try to best serve any type of customers.

What definitely helps us is to hear from our players, any feedback (good or bad) gives us an opportunity to better understand this particular player, therefore I would say that players that cry, complain or just drop us a thank you for this or that will benefit from it (directly or indirectly).

You can see this as "unfair" but it's the way it is, for the online casino industry but also for life in general as your hospital example stated.

Indeed, XXLCLUBCASINO, you did go the extra way , however its not really a gesture which would help over here.

A lesson is ONLY learned the hard way, softening it, just means that he hasn't lost the "full $1k" s/he thought s/he lost.

Being naive (we all have been are still in a way) is no excuse to refund, but its always nice when casinos go to make people feel happy, so kudos to you!

By the way ask him to send you the PDF info, and you will then send him the 50% refund!

[Private note to XXL, that could have easily been paid to me! :p]
