Firstly, apologies if this is in the wrong section,i am still relatively new to CM.When i post a new thread it initially appears in the 11 most recent threads under the 'forum' tag. When it drops out of there i assumed it would then appear in the 'new posts' section but i cannot seem to find any of my previous posts anywhere on the site.Just wondered if i was doing something wrong.

You started this thread in Online casinos.
You can always go back in there and just look for the thread you started.

If you start one somewhere else you do the same, or just to find something interesting that you have missed to read.

New posts is only showing if there are posts that you havn't read in the specific thread yet.
As soon as you have read it it will disappear.

It took a year for me to find the New post function so I know exactly how you feel :)

You also have this in the FAQ https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/help/forum-rules/

Just to add to what's been said there are a couple of other ways to get to your recent posts, I'm focusing on the list you'll see in your Profile:

First way to get to your Profile: from any page in the forums look towards the upper right and just under the banner click to open your profile:

Or -- second method -- if you're looking at one of your posts already (1) click on your user name then (2) click on "View Profile":

Either of these will take to your Profile. Once you're there you'll see the Activity listing which lists recent posts:

As you can see you can focus in on your own posts, posts from your Friends, etc.

Hope that helps. Squeek if you need to (ask questions).

Many thanks Tirilej,Rockycatt and Max.The mistake i was making was thinking all new started threads automatically appeared in the new posts section. All is now clear:thumbsup:

Some helpful info in this thread already: you can also click "My Profile" in tho top right corner, then when you land on that page, you see your avatar in the top left corner, and under it a few links, one of them called "find latest started threads" Which can take you to your post more efficiently if you happen to have been posting in a lot of threads, and then there's also the possibility to subscribe to your own thread, and then you will be notified of any replies in that specific thread, lets say you just pressed post, then you are taken to your post and see it as others see it: right above that post you see "thread tools" click on that, and the drop down menu shows "subscribe" click that and you can pick how you want to be notified of it:)

Hi davidsmith from Chatham, Kent.

I am originally from Ashford, Kent.:)..just a few miles away.

Welcome.:)

Thanks Secret, only problem with living in this part of Kent is how far away i am from land based casinos.Only two we have are in Broastairs and Margate, both of which involve a round trip of not much less than 100 miles:(

100 miles? Its a short commute for us over here.

Sounds like a real Kent to have to do it every time you want to play though.

:D

I know. I thought 45 miles drive to London from my home, back then , was a 'pack-a-lunch' drive....now having lived in the USA for 20 years, it's a stick of gum, away. LOL

Kentish Man or a Man of Kent?

Kent..it's all in the accent;)

LOL @Nifty-was that a typo error:D The drive there is always ok.The drive back depends on how much my bankroll has taken a hammering. If it has been a bad night it always seems to take twice as long!

I can never remember which is which.Doesn't it depend on which side of the river Medway you were born.If so i am neither as i wasn't born in Kent:)
