I am a low roller poker player. I recently played and deposited £25 which equated to roughly $37. I played for a few days and got up to $45 approx when I had a bad beat. I decided to withdraw but you can only withdraw $100 so I deposited a futher £37 which put me over the $100 so I cpuld withdraw. I just had a email from them to say its been suspended because I deposited then withdrew. I know Pokerstars do not like paying out but this is ridiculous.

PS has 48h waiting period after a deposit before withdrawal can be requested. At least it had, read all the terms about cashouts it should be there if it is changed. Contact their support if you cant find anything.

I received a email from security to say that they have cleared the payment now. I know the 48 hour rule and I had complied with that. I also sent them a copy of my above post. perhaps the word Casinomeister semt shivers down their spine Anyway I am getting my money. They obviously do not want low rollers.

You can say a lot of things about PS but not that they confiscate money for nothing. If this is your first withdrawal and you didnt already undergo ID verification this might be it. You`ll get it dont worry, unless you did something that is forbidden.

I still have not received my withdrawal so I sent a email and received this reply a short time ago.

"Your cashout was on hold while we were carrying out a full review of the funds and your recent game play. I am pleased to confirm that the review has been completed and your cashout approved and sent for processing."

I only play $5 tournies. are they real or what?

I'm sure there's plenty of players that multiaccount and multitable low stakes tourneys just to fly under the radar. due diligence, imo. They take that stuff very seriously.

They just had to do there checks, looks suspicious when you deposit 80 then try to withdraw 100.

+ they do have the 48 hr rule.

Glad you got paid

How in the world can anyone say Stars don't like low rollers when they are running the micro madness tournies 4 times a day all of july , you buy in for $1 and the room puts up the $1000 prize, yea they really can't stand their low stakes players, hell i should move on

Actually, PS is adding $1,000 on top of whatever the pool ends up at. :)

Multi-accounting is a concern but not the primary one, the 48hr hold between depositing and cashing out and the audit on minimal playthrough is to stop people transferring/dumping uncleared funds and then charging back. A lot of regulars, esp US players since banking is a bitch for them, routinely use forums to arrange transfers between FTP and PS, often for large amounts - and before the sites took the issue seriously a lot of people were trading good money for bad then finding it removed from their balance a few days later.

PS are reputable and will not confiscate your money unless you have clearly done something wrong, I've cashed out tens of thousands and have never had to wait more than a few hours to get it. They ring fence all their balances and reinsure them - their reputation is so good that I spoke to a guy who put a lot of money on PS during the banking crisis despite not needing it to play because he wanted to make sure his money was safe!

I do agree about PS being reputable and not confiscating money. They are a top notched site and will not do anything that will damage their good name.
