I was doing some reading from the site and i learned things i never knew before........men can get breast cancer also, i saw a pick up truck the other day, a real rugged guy driving this mans man truck and on the back of the tail gate was the brightest pink ribbon from the cancer society that said " Save Those Ta-Ta's", hopefully in the future , we wont lose anymore loved ones to cancer of any type........ thanks for clicking the pink box...........laurie

I like facebook for a lot of this. They have causes for all kinda things all it is you send off a memo and that person clicks it and thats it. For so many clicks they get so much money or donated items. I have a few causes i spend time with but all in all its no longer then 5 min a day for me to cover them all, as i help get more members. With funds so tight for a lot of people these days its a nice way to know you helped out without costing you more then a few minutes of your time.

This is something I have been trying to keep going for awhile now on CM but has been in the closet and needs dusting badly!

Hey CM friends and family,

Please take a sec of your time and click the link below , it is the Pink Box , this will give women as well as men , yes I said men who can not afford the cost a free mamogram.

I am a trustee of a small Irish Charity organisation and we actually did a charity night a few weeks ago and raised funds for more research and information towards women's breast cancer and we raised about €11.000,around $12.500 I reckon.
This was done because one of our female friends was diagnosed with this form of cancer but thank God she made it through the whole thing thanks to quick recognisation that she had it and swift treatment.

So you got my click and I will throw in a few $ via my CC.

Thanks Jassy , I sent Bryan a pm and asked that since we have been putting this up for years and the many clicks on here and by the forum members on F/B and other social media sites if we could make this a CM annual thing and name it in honor of members of our forum who are no longer here , Pina (Lisa) would be my choice.

I talked with someone last month where I am doing my clinicals and gave her an estimations of clicks that this forum has helped with over the years , well she helped me calculate , it would be around 4500 free mammograms over these past years , that is with members telling friends and family included , could be less and could be more.

If out of 4500 free screenings , just say for instance and 20 showed something abnormal on the image and say it was caught in time and a life was saved , that is a good thing and we all should celebrate that sacred life , I bet that lady and her family is.

If you have ever seen a cancer victim at stage 4 who is in that final stage of active dying , it is a sight you will never forget and a bitter sweet release for the family when they pass on , the suffering has gone and so many could be saved with just an annual screening. Please ladies and Gents on the forum remind your family members to get screened , you might just save their life.

Thank you again for your continued support , we may be a gaming forum but we are humans and we know or have lost someone to cancer that maybe could have been saved by early detection !
