Ok, I see a lot of casinos delaying payments etc due to Player Fraud but exactly what is it and how can it be accomplished if the games are fair?
I've seen a couple versions of Player Fraud pop up on the boards:
#1. They cite users that open multiple accounts for free chips till they win on one to be fraud, that is totally understandable and I totally get that.
#2. I've seen reports of player 'networks' (a bunch of people trying to hit a progressive and splitting the winnings) being shut down. Not sure how that is fraud exactly, but I agree it certainly tips the scales away from your average players favor when this occurs.
#3. (this is the most troubling one) The play logs need to be sent to the software company etc to rule out fraud, I don't understand how a player can perpetrate a fraud on software that is 'supposed' to be 100% legit and fair? Maybe I am too stupid to have figured that one out. If they are exploiting a software glitch, shouldn't the casino be able to figure that out during the tampering and put a stop to it before the player even gets close to the withdrawal button?
Anyways, I'm not finger pointing by any means, I've see this across all platforms and casinos, though it certainly happens more on some than others.
Just curious really, if the answers can't be discussed in a forum anyone that knows is welcome to PM me.
