Play Monte Carlo - Newest Casinomeister Casino

I played at this casino last week. I deposited 500 and get 125 bonus. After playing 500 BJ hands( the only game I tried )I lost around 30 units which is OK for me. Their game seems fair and fast. But then ....
I Tried to withdrawal from my account and they ask me to send ID and a player verification form. I sent this documents last wednesday via e-mail and they didnt answer me. I sent again my documents on thursday and they didnt reply. Today I am going to make a phone call to them to see what is going on. So my suggestion is wait to see what happend with my withdrawal before depositing there.

Send documents by regular mail!!!

I just recived an email from play montecarlo. They email filter blocked my previous messagges to them, they told me that emails with attachments are automatically blocked. Thats why they didnt answer my emails.
They also told me that I must send my ID and player verification form by REGULAR mail if want to be able to withdrawal funds from my account.

How ridiculous. They need to pony up and buy some antivirus software if they are that paranoid about attachments getting thru. Its not that expensive, unless there is some other reason for wanting to use snail mail

Well Norton Antivirus is only 39.95, much cheaper than hiring someone with half a brain!

You should make a scanned image of whatever documents you need to send, convert them into a .jpg, and send them as an attachment. If you have any problems with this, please contact me.

Flavio4321, this should not be an issue...I've already been told that sending .jpgs is a normal procedure. If you're still having difficulties, please let me know.

And remember attachment(s)-limit, or how big file you e-mail service allow. I try to certificate my Neteller via Hotmail, but there was always some problem. It say (in free hotmail) that e-mail max size is 1mb (if i remember right) and my attachments is total 400kb. E-mail size total 402kb. But hotmail don't like it. I know that i can covert these jpg-files to smaller, but i ask, can i send these attachments from different e-mail address (what my ISP offer), and after they say yes, everything works perfectly.

i recommend IrfanView

I'm checking on this this morning. I confused this casino with Lasseters which also just came on board here as well. They were the ones I was referring to that I had spoken to concerning emailing jpgs. It's not a problem for them.

This just in from the casino clarifying this issue and their ID policy.

The reason we do not accept Email ID verifications is not related to
viruses. We request verification by regular mail because our credit card
processors insist that we have on file a hard copy of some players
signatures, to back up credit card transactions.

We routinely suggest players send important emails without attachments to
avoid them being blocked by anti virus systems.

Although ID verification is sometimes necessary when dealing with new
users on the net, it is a one-off initial request. Once we have a user's
valid signature on record, all future transactions are processed without
further delay. It is of course in everyone's interest that withdrawals are
processed as efficiently as possible.

The sooner a user returns the requested documents, the faster we can
process their request and the quicker they'll come back and play on site.

play monte carlo should explain this on their website

I have no problem with casinos asking for ID, but they should say this clearly on their homepage. If you look on play montecarlos hompage you are not going to find anything about sendig ID or player verification form before making a withdrawal.(or at least I didnt find anything).

Second, I deposited using neteller, and I want to withdrawal using neteller so the argument that ... credit card processors insist on having a hard copy of some players .... is not valid for people who uses neteller or any other non credit card deposit metod.

Once again, I have no problem sending my ID but they should post this clearly on their hompage. In this way, players can decide before depositing if they want to play in a casino with this requirments.

At the very least these boys better go out and buy a FAX machine or you might try a copy-paste of your I.D. in WORD or PAINT directly to the email.

Hi Cipher,

This is one major point:

viruses. We request verification by regular mail because our credit card
processors insist that we have on file a hard copy of some players
signatures,
to back up credit card transactions

Fax machines and cut and paste jobs only provide copies of signatures, not pen and ink versions.

Hi Bryan,

I think they (MONTE CARLO) would serve themselves well in looking for another credit card processor. If memory serves me correctly this isn't about a credit card transaction to begin with. I thought this issue was about a Neteller transaction. I think you and I would both agree that MONTE CARLO is not long for this business if there not going to be technologically with it.

I agree, Flavio and Cipher. I use only NETeller, and i don't have any credit card. I use only netbank and some ATM-cards. So if i open account (in Play Monte Carlo Casino) and deposit via NETeller and withdraw someday (to my NETeller account), do i have to send copy of my Passport with signature, and do i have to send copy of my bill or bank statement with signature to prove address/name/etc. via regular (snail) mail? (to this casino)

Just curious :)

Guess I'm getting confused. First the casino says

"We request verification by regular mail because our credit card
processors insist that we have on file a hard copy of some players
signatures, to back up credit card transactions."

That's "some" players, not all. Not to mention, if they want an original-pen-and-ink signature why don't they say so. I would think a "hard copy" is a copy, like from a fax machine or copy machine.

But then Flavio says he deposited by Neteller - perhaps he has deposited by credit card in the past?

At the least they could do a better job of spelling out their policy, or, in this case, it seems like the policy of the credit card processor, in more detail. Perhaps they will. Maybe someone can ask the credit card processor exactly what their policy is. Who is the credit card processor anyway?

Snail Mail ID Requests

I don't see any real incentive here to check this place out. Sending copies of ID's, etc., by snail mail is more than I'm willing to do (okay call me lazy). There are good choices out there that don't require your first born male child delivered by UPS.

Did you got paid Flavio? Anybody else tried them? That snail mail of id is ludicrous if they still enforce it..

This is crazy. There explanation is wrong on its face. They are going to get copies no matter if snail mail or email or fax. And for Neteller what difference does it make.

I would say they are not providing a true reason. And that means the player must deduce the true reason. And the only thing I can deduce is that they are just playing tricks to delay processing.

Not a good thing. I am curious what the current status is.
