Pretty much same story my last 200ish online deposits

I'm either super unlucky or the payouts are not as advertised on slots.

My online gambling days are over and I'm out of here!

Good luck to everybody here and I will still pop back and visit if you will still have me.

Argh... Hate it when you get slot sessions like that.

That's variance for you - makes up for the occasional monsters we see posted on the winner screenshots thread!

Best of luck anyhow Rusty - always enjoy your posts

Could be playing the wrong game.
Sounds like a 20-liner - which one?

Sorry it does sound like you've been very unlucky - but slots can be like that.

Always welcome here!

I think it's good to mix in some card games when you hit a rough patch like that. I know I've hit some endless rough patches with 99% video poker, so that gives me perspective when playing slots.

Sorry

I hope your luck changes when you come back and play again. Im in a losing streak too. What's even worse is Im getting RTG bonus spins and do you believe my streak is sooo bad that I had 2 retriggers for a total of like 36 spins and ended up with only $22???

It happened 3 games in a row, I kept hitting the bonus spins and ended up with less than $20, one was $6!!! I need a break too

Hope your luck changes Rusty. silkprint is so right about taking a break.

silkprint Wishing you the best Rusty no matter what you do . Sometimes a break can do wonders .

Babs I can so identify with you getting a retrigger twice and ending up with next to nothing. That has happened to me all too often at the RTG casinos. When I make more on a single spin than with say 15 free spins it is time to pack it up.

That's the problem with us gamblers. There is no such thing as "Enough".

I completely understand your frustration "Rusty", because I was in that position precisely 1-year ago today. I was knee-deep in losing, and I kept trying to buy myself some wins, and it never happened. At that point it hadn't mattered what I'd done, the more I played, the more I deposited, the results were always the same. For me, the games never balanced-out (overall) whenever I pushed for it.

Something that's worked for me this year - and something I'm very thankful for making a habit of practicing - is to let the wins come to me and to never force or expect it to happen. In times past, I led myself to believe that if I busted-out on 30 straight deposits of $100, I'm DUE for a fantastic payout. Sorry, but that never works for me (not that it hasn't worked for others).

My approach this year, is something that I intend to do for the remainder of my days playing online, that is to never force winning. When I lose, the last thing I will do now is make a quick run to the bank the next day, to quick rectify the situation by trying to win all of my mounting losses back. In all of my years playing - and I'm really not sure why that is - I never win. I NEVER win when I absolutely need a win. Never. I accept that now, and I'm better off knowing that.

Playing off the notion - faith - that something big is going to come to save you, is dangerous. It's not healthy playing knowing that there's this constantly growing need to make up for the mounting losses (even if one can afford it). There's nothing fun about mentally feeling like you're carrying a piano on your back. There's so much stress that comes with that, loss of sleep, loss of time, pushing important things off to the side, ect... it's just not worth it.

Coming into the '06 campaign - having giving it some serious thought... although I never wanted to quit completely - was to get away from the game for some time. If I was credited with a free bonus from one of the many casinos I had played at over the years, I play that bonus like I don't care... and play it big. For whatever reason, I seem to have found some luck taking this approach. I rarely go to the bank these days to make a wire to my NeTeller account, and when I do lose, I stay away for awhile. And that's the best thing to do... for me. What I do know, is that I will never push for wins again, and I'll never quickly run back to even score.

Excellent post Mr.Steed
(Could have almost been written by me - if I was half as articulate as you!)

As you know, your method is precisely what I started doing over 5-years ago now - and I have never looked back.
Losing sucks, hurts, and dents your self-esteem - fortunately something I experience in very very few months these days. ;)

That's precisely it JS and, you're absolutely right, I don't know WHAT it is - but when you REALLY need a win - they just never arrive. The old thing about never chasing losses is so very very very very true.

Then; just when you least expect it - just what you least expect!

Many thanks to all of you for your support and advice.
I have not had a bet since this thread was posted but I have taken up smoking..... again
Hey! It's my nature.

Actualy since I joined Casinomeister I have come to realise what a big hearted bunch we gamblers are. I know in the past(too distant) that whenever I had a decent win I could not wait to treat the people I care about with my winnings and I am certain that many of you are like minded. The flip side is that I have to be honest enough to admit that in the past(also distant) I have gambled more money than I could really afford which put a strain on close relationships.
For better and for worse, gamblers are definately a breed apart.

Hope it's a member that takes down that Megamoolah Jackpot:thumbsup:

Rusty, something else you can try, is playing for fun. Whenever I get the urge to be bad and I don't really have the funds to play, I'll play my guest accounts. It's weird, but after a few minutes of playing, I find it enjoyable without losing a cent. I get my "fix" for the evening and wake up the next day quite content that I didn't blow some money. Every so often go ahead and play for real, but only what you set aside to play with.
And put those cigs down!;) sorry, not trying to be bossy. I know just how it is. I quit 5 months ago. First time I ever quit.
What ever you choose to do...best of luck to you. ( you really should consider getting that thing in your head removed too):D
