Online Casinos

Was never too impressed with the SW. I was shocked when i heard Sportingbet was buying them. But i guess that's the way the business world works. It's all a matter of dollars and cents...or pounds and pence.

jetset, any idea what Sportingbet is going to do with their investment?

***gasp***

...i just followed the link from the meister's radio show to a GPWA forum converssation regarding Cirrus Casino...i see some of them are actually endorsing Cirrus...i thought Cirrus was a rogue! I did not know the GPWA endorsed rogues!

...i cant breathe...

GPWA as an organization doesn't endorse sites, individual webmasters who are members are always free to promote any sites they wish. Many GPWA member portals promote crooked casinos. The thread you link to is a good example of their thinking.

This guy Moran who is now in charge and comes from a disciplined Sportingbet background seems to know what he's about and is a good, professional gaming executive.

Probably the best management they've had. Period.

He has stated that he intends to cut out non-core business and activites, cut unnecessary costs that don't fit the new vision, put better systems in place and sort out the software before returning the group as a lean machine focused on the core business of providing turnkey casinos.

That's what he seems to be doing in an efficient, low-profile way that has included weeding all but one of the "old" WG directors off the Board.

This could be a group to watch if Moran achieves his objectives. And there is some potentially exciting synergy in having an outfit like WG as part of the wider Sportingbet group and firing on all cylinders.

Classic!!

I hope they straighten out and fly right because they have been performing well for me. RTG's seem to make the most money for me and give me the biggest headaches too

Can you believe the nerves of the people at Crystal Palace Casino? Man I can stop laughing at this Promo they just sent me
EXCLUSIVE OFFER:

Play @ Crystal Palace this weekend and get 100% CASH-BACK !!

3 lucky players will be randomly selected to have their accounts
credited with 100% CASH-BACK on Monday July 14.

Simply deposit at least $5,000 between Friday July 11 & Sunday
July 13 to be in with a chance to WIN 100% CASH-BACK !!

Standard cash-back terms apply.

Atleast $5000 to you guys? Yea Right. And if I had $5000 I wouldn't play it online. Especially with you fugging crooks

Whats' really bad about this "offer" is the fact that I'm sure there are going to be more than a few people that will fall for it.

The old something for nothing routine and thats' no laughing matter. Have a good one.
Cipher

That's a riot murder1! But what's REALLY bad about the offer is that you'd have to LOSE the $5000 in order to get cash back!

Yeah, that's a great offer, sign me up!!

Gotta give them credit for crafty wording on that one. It sounds like it'd be a match bonus but its really a loss refund IF you are one of the "lucky" 3 who lost everything and are then chosen. You know they'll be the ones who lost WAY more than $5k though.

Yea. But you give them guys $5000 you can cancel Christmas on that one. You will never see that $5000. Even if you just deposit it and simple just withdrawal it back out.

These people are not crafty their just SICK!!!

I wouldnt deposit 5 cents at Crystal Palace let alone 5k. The manager Oliver Curran, or Warren Cloud, or whatever his alias is this week is the biggest crook online.

You may have had a bad run of luck at super vegas which is unfortunate, but for fast payments and customer service they cant be beat. There sign up bonus is also one of the best on the net.

I had a good run at supervegas. Cashed out well over the bonus. Murder1, have you ever experienced a real losing trend, i.e. 40/50?

Quite a few casino's let you cash out before WR. All of the FLs do (they haven't stopped me anyway)

From research I've done lately, but not from experience:

Bet365
BetWWTS
VIP sports
Pinnacle
Olympic
Canbet
Gameday
Intertops
William Hill
WSEX
CRIS
BetAllworld
Carib
5Dimes
Hollywood
Grand
WITeuro
Centrebet
Betroyal
Wagerstreet
Bowmans
Interwetten
Pariaction

Think that's enough.

I am old player in the casino online and beleve me it's realy difficult to find some seriouse casino that don't ask you just money but offer you a nice and continuos customer service, many bonus, good games and the live roulete!!!
and beleve me you can win...I won already 984$!!!
go there and try!!

Nice try Marco / Giovanna.

This one's been relentlessly spamming this rogue joint for several days now on several forums.

Marco, try reading the rules next time, assuming you're blessed with that capacity:

"WARNING: This section of the board is not for spammers! Frequent spam messages will result in your IP address being blocked. If you want to post ads, or postings that are merely cloaked ads, please post them in "Online Casino Promos and Ads".

"Marco, try reading the rules next time, assuming you're blessed with that capacity:..."

Spammers like this probably have difficulty walking & chewing gum at the same time.

The "thought process" used in coming up with "different names" is amazing.

I was completely fooled..... I thought this was a lucky new player....

Super Vegas offers a bonus which is deposit 800 get 200 free automatically. This bonus only restricts the games roulette, baccarat and craps and the wagering is only 20 times the bonus amount. These guys pay in 1-2 days to neteller and the CS is wonderful.

Casino on net offers a 1000 for 200 bonus and you only have to wager 400$. Probably best sign up bonus on the net. Payment like clockwork to neteller in 5 days. You can play BJ with bonus too.

Last night I thought I,d throw 50.00 into my account at 32Red and play a little. Started out at the Oriental Fortune slot playing 25 cents..... nine lines. Within a few minutes...got five of them beasty things for 750.00. Moved on to some other slots and then my favorite Treasure Nile. Lots of wins there... five of a kind dogs twice...750.00 each time...5 gold crosses for 500.00...five scatters for 225.00..and many other great hits. Had some dry spells after awhile so I went to multi-hand video poker. Playing ten dollars per hand...40.00 every deal. Dealt three to the royal...picked up a royal for 4,000.00, and a straight flush for whatever it paid..( didn,t notice..I was too busy admiring the royal) Played all night... cashed in 4,000.00 and played with the other grand or so that I had left. Went to sleep and woke up about five or six hours later and noticed that 32Red had already taken the four thousand dollars and began processing it. Unbelievable! On a weekend no less! A casino I used to play at waited at least 24 hours to three days to begin the process of paying...hoping that you,d reverse the cash-in and give it back, and they always waited till Monday or Tuesday to start the process if you cashed-in on the weekend. If you,re looking for an online casino that you can trust with your money, and have peace of mind that IF you win...you WILL be paid..and promptly, see Ed Ware and his people at 32Red.

I would recommend the river belle, 250/250/7500 sign up bonus. They offer vegas strip BJ which has some of the best rules on the net. HA is .35 according to the wizard of odds.

32 red definitely offers some of the best support on the net, I highly recommend them to anyone. As well, you might be the luckiest person alive, good for you, Ive played over 50 000 hands of JOB and never hit a royal :( .

I re-read my first post...and when I hit the royal, I was playing five dollars per hand at that time... hence the 4,000.00 win. Not the ten dollars per hand that I originally wrote. Ten dollars a hand came AFTER the big win. By the way...did anyone catch that when they read the post? You Video Poker players would have known that ten dollars per hand would have paid 8,000.00. Take Care!

I never play Jacks or Better Jamesdean...I just find it boring. I like to play Jokers or Aces + Faces. I was playing Aces+Faces last night when I got the royal. I like Deuces, but I find it very hard to win on it for some reason. Double Joker is my fav, but if it,s not hitting, you can lose your ass pretty quickly because of the two-pair minimum.

I have played in 4 casinos of English Harbour group - none of them paid me and none of them replied to my emails (see Casino Complaints - Beware of English Harbour group). So, something fishy is definitely in the air. Maybe they were good for a while to build up reputation, but I will not be surprised if they disappear tomorrow. My predictions for the future are pesimistic: most internet casinos will disappear with player's money - just a vicious circle: more bonus abusers =<, casinos have to compensate by non-payments =<, real gamblers stop gambling, disillusioned by non-payments =<, casinos have to do more non-payments to survive. It can only lead to the shutdown of most casinos. I advise you all: now is the time to stop internet gambling, we are in no-win situation here. You think casinos has 1% edge on Blackjack? Have you factored in the risks of non-payment? You haven't though about it, have you!

Why would you play at another casino within its group if 1 of them failed to pay you?

Sounds a bit suss to me!

I was pleasantly suprised when I logged into River belle casino to find that instead of the standard, lousy, high house advantaged European BJ, they offer a variety of BJ games including Vegas Strip Rules.

This game has a low HA of .35 according to the wizard of odds and allows double after split, doubles on any 2 cards, and the dealer checks for BJ. I checked the other viper casinos I have downloaded and they also offer it. Goodtimes!!

First Web has added what they are calling Spanish Blackjack as well as this version that you mentioned. It seems to be similar to spanish 21, with bonuses for various 21 hands, etc. Though I haven't been able to confirm it has no 10s like spanish 21 does. I could swear I got a 10 at one point. Anyway, for the first time in YEARS, I've actually won money playing MG blackjack on this game (won some on the Vegas Strip version as well)!

MG deuces always seems very tight. I was playing it last night and got dealt 3 deuces on power poker and all I could get out of it was 3 4ok's and 1 5ok. I was pretty disappointed that I didn't get that 4th deuce on at least one hand.

WTG on that lucky night Tim! And good for you for being smart and cashing out some of it before giving it all back. Too many people do that I think and its very sad. I too like A&F over JoB many times. I think I've hit more royals in that game (3 in a week at Club Dice, and one a couple of weeks later at Kiwi) than any other.

I hear ya! You wait all night to be dealt three deuces.... and what a pisser when the fourth doesn,t show up on ANY hands on the draw. Also, Deuces has very few big payouts... I,d rather play a game that pays out less frequently, but much higher amounts when it finally does hit. To me...that,s alot more fun.

I fully agree! After that I went over to play A&F power poker and wouldn't you know it, got 4 deuces there when I only held 2 on the draw. I HATE when that happens!

I just got through giving away $100 + $50 bonus to First Web Casino in less than 30 mins. Yea New Games but the same rigged Bullshit. You might got lucky and won. But trust me you will be crying. MicroGaming Sux, I knew I shouldn't played there. People go find out for yourself. I PROMISE YOU WILL FIND OUT SOONER OR LATER!!!

Colosseum Casino is great...just signed up and got the 15 dollar promotion. I won 150 playing blackjack then 750 on treasure nile..900 dollars for free

As for losing a lot after you win a lot it happens everywhere online...just know when to run.

Time has passed since Sunny Group of Casinos and Microgaming Software have severed their business relationship.

In that time, several reports have been made about the circumstances that caused this to happen. Below are excerts from articles, and links to the complete articles, that relate the story from both points of view.

Note that some of these references are from Press Releases from the affected companies.

SUNNY CASINOS PRESS RELEASE

"...An International auditing company is employed by Microgaming and Casino Fortune to review the output of the random number generator embedded in the Microgaming software used by Casino Fortune. The auditing company confirms that the generator consistently produces random numbers and is a fair basis for the outcome of games that have been played. Presently, Casino Fortune is not convinced that this is accurate.

The January 2002 audit report was released late February. At that time Decembers report had also not been sent. Casino Fortune repeatedly asked for the figures, which are usually published to its customers...

...On 20th February Casino Fortunes IT Director wrote again "We are very concerned about our payout percentages. We also have not received our audit reports for the last 2 months. I was forced to review the previous problem we had sometime ago regarding payout percentages as shown in
emails below.

The IT Director made reference to a November 2000 settlement Microgaming made with several licensees after it was suspected that they (Microgaming) had tampered with the random numbers generator causing losses. The Director copied letters from other operators who claimed that the settlement represented only one fifth of what was actually lost...

On March 17th, credits for guest customer accounts were tampered with. Upon investigation, it was proven that this was not caused by any employee of Casino Fortune. Microgaming was promptly contacted and they denied any allegation that their staff had anything to do with the interferences. Casino Fortune attempted to no avail, to speak directly to the Microgaming principle, Martin Moshal. Mr. Moshal did not respond to emails and his cellnumber was no longer active. "
These are serious allegations from Sunny Casinos regarding whether Microgaming actually paid a settlement to a complainant, in essence admiting some wrongdoing.

In fact, the registered owner of the domain name "Microgaming.com" is now listed as "David Black". Attempts to contact Mr. Black have been unsuccessful.

Microgaming issued the following Press Release on March 27, 2002:

MICROGAMING PRESS RELEASE

"MICROGAMING REGRETS TO ANNOUNCE THAT THE SOFTWARE LICENCE AGREEMENT WITH THE SUNNY GROUP OF COMPANIES (WHICH OPERATES CASINO FORTUNE, MAPAU AND MIAMI BEACH CASINO) HAS BEEN TERMINATED.

Sunny Group has not been settling its outstanding licensing fees for some time, and its current licensing fees were severely in arrears. Microgaming was left with no alternative but to terminate the Software Licence Agreement with the Sunny Group. Notice of the termination was given and confirmed by Microgaming's lawyers.

Microgaming and the Sunny Group have had a long relationship. The termination was not taken lightly and was done with a heavy heart.

Microgaming is doing everything possible to assist the Sunny Group of casinos to finalise its data so that it can pay out its players.

Microgaming has noted a press announcement from Sunny Group, stating that the licence was terminated by the Sunny Group, and citing a variety of spurious grounds for this. The allegations made in support of these grounds in the release, are quite simply false, and are known to the Sunny Group to be false. Microgaming regrets that the Sunny Group has sought to hide its financial embarrassment in this manner."
Reports of malicious conduct against Casino Fortune, were also alleged by Sunny Casinos in a subsequent Press Release dated May 8, 2002.

SUNNY GROUP PRESS RELEASE

"...On April 6th an anonymous mailer sent a Trojan Virus in a promotional offer seemingly from Casino Fortune to some Casino Fortune customers who had signed an online petition against Microgaming. This resulted in a crash on their hard drives. I guess this is a strategy to make people fearful of playing with us. The few players that reported this incident were given new hard drives to accommodate their misfortune, said Anand Rajkumar, Promotions Director.

On April 7th, Jackpot.com/Vendare Group began spamming subscribers with promotional email sent as coming from Casino Fortune. Further down the page the name Atlantic Casino Fortune is given. The registered address of Atlantic Casino Fortune is an Isle of Man address used by Microgaming...
In the same Press Release, Casino Fortune claims to have received the following email:

"On May 5th, 2002 Casino Fortune received the following email, which was traced to a Johannesburg address:

Random number generators work in the following fashion:

1. Take a range of fractions (usually between 0 -1) and run the random function on the range.

2. Then apply this fraction to the actual range of numbers that you are interested in (e.g. in a card game with 4 decks the probability of choosing an arbitrary each card decreases by a factor of 4)

3. What you can do to influence the outcome is to weight the outcome based upon some other event by applying a variable to the function you create that generates the outcome.

If you want it to be truly random you can weight the values based upon some value, which is infinitesimal such as the current server time down to microseconds.

By the same token you can also pass a blank variable, which will register as a NULL value, and then at any point in time to weight the outcome values upwards or downwards, you can then pass a non-null variable and this will then skew the outcome of the randomness.

Basically this is how the Random Number Generator (RNG) works:

1. Client software connects to the port on the Gaming server.

2. Client software requests a game that player wants.

3. Player requests to be dealt or to spin Client software connects to gaming server and asks for a random number to be generated on a specific port.

4. Based upon the weighting of the RNG the result will come back as within probability or skewed.

5. On the MGS Gaming server the following parameters are passed to the RNG: game, game type, time (hh:mm:ss:ss.sss) and client parameters request # etc. The MGS Gaming server RNG service can be weighted according to a variable that is usually left blank.

6. Request result is then recorded and sent back to the client."
At this time, it is not known which casino Microgaming is alleged to have paid a financial settlement. However, this information would, if true, validate Sunny Group's concerns about the validity of Microgaming's Random Number Generator.

It should also be noted that PriceWaterhouseCoopers(PWC) only validates information provided by Mircogaming itself, and does not have access to the Random Number Generator itself. Consequently, PWC is confirming the Payout Ratio based only on Microgaming's own reports.

Colosseum, I think, has more games than any other online casino. If you want variety, you've chosen the right place :)

Treasure Nile - love-hate relationships aren't uncommon... LOL... but this is usually the most popular Microgaming progressive, even though Major Millions is the largest jackpot.

And as for payback - I suspect many of the slots online are actually quite good payback - with the obvious exception being progressives... but when you compare apples to apples and oranges to oranges, online slots are quite competitive with land-based casinos - in many cases only Vegas has better payback!

Whale - I typically only run after I've been bitten... LMAO...

Check out this excerpt of Terms & Conditions from a casino that just spammed me:

The Player understands that software free of errors is impossible to achieve. Should the Player become aware of an error or flaw in the software, the Player agrees to refrain from taking advantage of such error or flaw. Moreover, the Player agrees to report any error, flaw or incompleteness immediately to the Casino in writing. Should the Player fail to fulfill his/her obligations stated in this clause, the Company or its assignees shall be entitled to full compensation for all costs related to the error or flaw, including any costs incurred to create a solution to the error.

The Player accepts and understands that the Casino software installed on his computer may identify his interests based on his computer usage and web surfing behavior, including the URLs of Web pages viewed by him and other criteria and to display ads and/or notes on the Players computer. We declare that we dont transmit to our server personally identifiable information and, therefore, we dont disclose this information to any third party or otherwise break the Players privacy.

The Casino reserves the right to withhold any payments if it suspects any foul play or manipulation with the Casino. Charges will be brought against any Player who attempts or is guilty of foul play or manipulation of the Casino.

The Player understands and agrees that should he fails to use his account for at least six months his account will be considered to be a dormant account. The six-month period will be counted from the date of his last log in to your account. In such cases, we may levy a monthly administration fee on the dormant account.

In the event of the Player applying for a real money account at our casino, the Player in so doing authorizes us and/or our designated agent(s) to investigate his/her creditworthiness in connection with the aforementioned application and/or any subsequent purchases that the player might make at the Casino.

So let me get this straight, if I find a bug in your software, I already not only agree not to expolit it, but unless I notify you in writing about it, you will make me pay for you to fix it!?! Are you f*cking kidding me? But wait, it gets better...

I agree to let your casino software perform as spyware and tell you anything you want to know from my hard drive, and to spam me with pop-ups that you think are appropriate? See my above rhetorical question! But wait, there's still more...

If you so much as suspect any foul play or manipulation (define that please!), you'll withold my payments. And if I don't login for 6 months, you'll charge me rent on my account? Again, you're nuts! But wait, the best is yet to come...

I authorize you to check my credit any time I make a purchase? I don't think so! My credit score is none of your F'ing business!! And has absolutely NOTHING to do with playing at your casino unless you are extending me credit (which you are not doing, you accept only real money!)

This is not a joke, I had to re-read these terms to make sure I wasn't imagining it. I'm sure you want to know which casino is asking you to bend over as soon as you sign up! Here's the link to the T&C page:
You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.

I've never heard of them before I got spammed by them, and they appear to have a pretty good signup bonus & w/r. Software screen shots look decent, but I don't recognize the s/w. Anyone know/heard anything about this place? I suspect its more scam than real casino, based on these ridiculous terms.

I was about to download and give them a try, based on the nice bonus, w/r, and good looking screen shots, but changed my mind once I read the T&C page. So a lesson for everyone is to read EVERY WORD of the terms & conditions at a casino BEFORE you signup. You may be surprised at what you are agreeing to!

Hi JPM,
I have NEVER heard of such crap in my life.
I would simply respond to them and tell them to shove their T&C's where the sun don't shine. Then again in today's day and age it may shine there too..lol. On second thought, don't respond JPM...I would not want this casino (?) to have your ISP address. I am not computer savvy, but I would be afraid that somehow they could hack into your computer.

Your Friend,Linda

This is interesting reading Murder1, and the first time I read this part:

"...it was suspected that they (Microgaming) had tampered with the random numbers generator causing losses. The Director copied letters from other operators who claimed that the settlement represented only one fifth of what was actually lost..."

I thought that they were saying that MG skewed the results to cause losses to the PLAYERS. However, if you read it again, and combined with the info about the settlement, you realize they were talking about the CASINO being the one who was caused these 'losses', and was subsequently reimbursed for them.

At first I was thinking, why did the casino get reimbursed if the players were screwed over? And where's my check?? But this is even more intriguing I think, that MG caused payouts at the casino to be higher than they statistically should have been! Then had to compensate the casino for the losses to all those lucky players.

The RNG info from the anonymous emailer is rather confusing. Its obvious that english is not this person's first language. If you have any programming experience though, you can figure out what he's trying to say though. In essence that not only is it easy to weight the RNG results, but that MG actually does this. Pretty serious charge.

Great job Murder1!!!, very imformative and thought provoking post.

This information coupled with the way in which Micrograming intentionally staggers the players wagering ability (at least in their Blackjack) makes for an unbeatable system.

Cipher

I recently got an invitation for a 100% matching bonus, up to $200, from these people. Does anyone know ANYTHING about them? I don't mind playing at a fairly new site, but I don't want to be the first one who finds out that the casino won't pay or the software is rigged. Does Oyster Gaming have any kind of track record with anyone reading this? Thanks for any information.

jhartz,

Glad you came her to find out before you put any money into this casino.

Personally I used to promote these guys before I found out they were dodgy. They also run, Madbonuscasino.com netgaming.com and others.

If you got to Oyster gaming Link Removed ( Old/Invalid) you'll see that non of the links at the top navigation function, a bit suss don't you think?

Anyway I drop this outfit 7 months ago. I had run them for 3 months & found a high number of chargebacks from players. I had intially played at the casino ( netgaming.com ) however I put my non wins down to bad luck. However a player posted to Winneronline.com ( forum ) that he had played aruond $300 and only won a few hands.

Honestly you can do a lot better that risk your money at a place that their games are iffy to say the least.

Their online billing company is owned by the casino's and changed their name from e-gold ( which has a doubtful history ).

I believe they are associated wth Elka Systems software. (Check the Rogue section) This is about the fourth inquiry I've had about these guys in the last month. Seems as though they've gone through a name change or something. I'll be checking on this upon my return when I have access to all of my notes.

Oyster? One hell of a name. Who pcks these thngs anyway?

These guys are losers. Plagerised images and text. Baffoon-like behavior via shill postings and T&Cs. Ha ha ha...off to roguedom we go.

Something to do when I get back...
