New to the online scene. Probably a question most of you have probably been asked a million times but I'll ask it anyway. Is blackjack worth playing online? I have no false hopes of making money. I play using basic strategy and am currently playing on club world casino. I have heard mixed reviews on rtg. Thanks

Is blackjack worth playing online?
It depends on what you mean by "worth playing".

If you mean, can you get rich playing online blackjack... Well, I do know a few folks that have made a lot of money. But I also know a lot of folks that have lost a lot of money... So I guess online Blackjack is very similar to land based Blackjack. ;)

As far as I know the only real difference is that if your a regular "BIG" winner at online Blackjack your not going to get your picture in the Griffin Book. :eek2: You just get your account closed.

Of course you do need to make sure your playing at an honest casino.

you can benefit from online blackjack by getting signup bonuses.as you are new to online casinos , so there are tons of signup bonuses and some of them are really good. i would start with ladbrokes casino, casino365, casinoonnet, casino club and take advantage of signup offers from microgaming casinos. good luck

This is somewhat off topic, but I checked out the site linked in java1980's signature above. It has pages that are cut and pasted from other sites. For example, compare Link Removed ( Old/Invalid) to

Good eye aka23!

Your not going to rank in the search engines using stolen content, the search engines actually look for that kind of crap and penalize it.

java1980 If you did in fact steal the content (and it sure looks like you did), not only are you a thief, but your stupid as well.

Bryan has been notified... Wonder if there's any connection?

Java = Nikest?

Same favorite movie, both connected in some way with gamblersspot, and both in canada....interesting.
Nikest27's email address is the same for the registrant for GAMBLERSSPOT.COM

And if I remember correctly, that's the same avatar that Nikest used too isn't it?

I thought that looked familiar....

And back on topic

You'd be best to stay away from RTG blackjack, especially right now, it seems tight as #*$&@#$. Not sure how MG is, but I'd trust that more than RTG any day :)

Thanks guys for keeping the forum cleaned up. The guy is a fraudster and rogue webmaster. I've alerted the Wizard about the content on this guy's site - I'm also contacting the aff managers of the casinos this guy is promoting.

See how he likes 'dem apples.

I seem to remember the nikest problem, and I wrote the Wizard back then about the stolen images. I guess nothing ever came of it.

Oh well, all thanks go to aka32 for catching this in the first place!

blackjack.

If the guy who posted above Java is a fraudster, why not inform the RCMP or OPP or whatever province/territory this person is from?

About online blackjack, can you enter the shoe at the rich point or poor point? It would depend on which casinos allowed this practice.

You can use the same play at other offline casinos.

You can also hit aces, instead of splitting aces against house power cards, and go more conservative and save your money for your double downs and better splitting situations.

The neutral shoe is where the house makes its money in blackjack, cutting of odds in blackjack, plus poor plays.

Best of luck.
