As promised, I am finally going to post about about my recent unsavory casino experience. It will come as no shock to any of you given it's involving one of the virtual casino group casino's. This particular casino, is Vegas Strip. I did a search in the forum's and while I saw many complaints regarding Prism, Betroyal, Coolcat, and others of their group, I could not find much on Vegas Strip itself. And Casinomeister does not seem to have it listed. I have asked him to get around to putting that casino on the list. If you go into their website, you'll find a link that proves their affiliation with that group.

Having complied with all the T&C of any promotions, and sending in my documents etc... I requested a withdrawal of $1000.00 which was approved Feb 12th. I have still have not been paid despite several emails, and countless chat-in's and phone calls regarding my payment. I did get email responses fairly quickly (within a day or two) but what I am not getting is accurate information.

What I have been getting are constant stalling tactics. If I had a dollar for every time I've been given inaccurate information I'd already have my 1000 bucks back. I've got an entire folder dedicated to chat conversations with different reps regarding the when's and if's of my winnings, and they are astoundingly inconsistant.

Here's some of the explainations I've been given...

Javier: the thing as for today
Javier: is that they are doing an internal audit
Javier: so do not have to worry

Marcello: dont worry
Marcello: here's the scoop
Marcello: we are reallllllly slow
Marcello: in paying

Nick: the process takes an average of 10 business days to be completed and 5 extra business days to be sent to you
Nick: you need to count starting the 12th and yes we will email when the control number is ready

Robert: you will get paid, there is no doubt about it, it's just that he is alone in accounting taking care of pay outs
Robert: but as I told you before he will get back to you later on
Robert: he will send you an email

Marcello: I asked him, he made a mistake, thought I was referring to someone else
Marcello: He will be available monday
Marcello: 11am est
Marcello: they pay slowwww
Marcello: always have
Marcello: but
Marcello: David did say
Marcello: he thought you were going to get paid soon

Nick: the problem is the processor we use to send them, they have a daily limit
Nick: and we depend on them

Ralph: you need to speak to david
Ralph: Nick and Robert are customer service. they have no info on your payout

A substantial amount of time has passed with still no definite answers from anyone. Funny enough, one PMS day forced me to break down and 'cry' on the phone to the rep. lol... Yeah, sounds dumb now, but it was an emotional day. I told them '' If you have no real intention to pay me, just please say so, so I can put it behind me and get on with my life''. The rep just assured me that I would be.

For obvious reasons, I didn't bother to do any sort of official PAB. I did however PM CM and let him know what was going on. I've received inquiries about this particular casino, from people considering playing there, and that's why I've decided not to keep this under my hat any longer. I honestly don't know if I'll ever get paid based on the responses I'm getting. The rep's seem to trip all over themselves trying to re-assure me that i WILL... but yet, no one knows when or they try to pacify me with some kind of excuse as to why I haven't yet.

I delayed posting this because I didn't want to take a chance I wouldn't get paid if one of their reps saw me bitching in here about it... But it seems it doesn't really matter anyway. If they don't want to pay me, they aren't going to. And no reason is really needed.

Yes, I should have done my research. But I expressed before that I'm relatively new to the online gambling world. Believe you me, it's a mistake on my part, that won't happen twice.

I've heard all the reviews on Prism and Coolcat etc... anyone able to tell me their experience with Vegas Strip in particular?

Snowkatt, they have no intention of paying you...........if they drag this on long enough you might reverse and lose it all.;)

My experience last year: 45 to 60 days for payment provided they don't claim bonus abuse (which they never did to me). Many members on this forum say tey are regularly paid by Virtual. In the meantime, and for your own sanity, let it go.

update...

Cynthia contacted me and has contacted the withdrawal department, who assures her they will have a control # for me to pick up my winnings within 24 hours.

So, thanks to Cynthia for jumping in right away to get this resolved. I really hope I get my winnings now. Will let you all know how it turns out.

Did you get the control number and get paid?

Yes. I did. The very next day after posting. Cynthia did a bang up job on the thing, however, I cannot tell you whether or not my finally getting paid had anything to do with her intervention, because the day I was paid 'was' the day they said I would be (even though that was like the 4th time i was given a payment date estimate).

I won't be going back to that casino, and have deleted the software. Even though I did finally get paid, the waiting and the wondering and the misinformation from the reps was far too much stress for me, and i'm just glad it's over.

It was the inconsistant information, from the reps, that lasted through nearly two months of constant inquiry, that drove me insane. Only to find out those reps had no control over the situation anyway, or could even access my account. I've yet to hear of a situation where a casino manager states ''this rep was in the wrong for telling you these things, and will be dealt with accordingly''. It just seems like in the online casino world, -anything goes- as far as what you're told.

They did pay ME, but what about the countless others that didn't get paid or had part of their winnings voided? How would this have turned out if my winnings were substantially higher?

Due to the extremely poor communication in this matter, paid or not, the trust is just not there anymore, and I consider Vegas Strip too high risk for my taste. I have enough to worry about than whether or not i'll get paid my winnings in the future. So, I'm chosing to find a big fluffy couch in the comfort zone and stick to the place where I know that good service is top priority. And in my recent experience, that's turned out to be Club World.

I'm not going to advise people to play there, nor am I going advise people not to play there, as I did in fact -finally- receive my winnings. I guess it is a matter of taste, as far as what you're willing to put up with in a casino, and if extremely slow payment is an issue for you. And if you aren't worried the least bit about grey hairs.

*** To Cynthia - I apologize for posting anything that upset you, but I did promise the other members I would let them know how it all turned out.

Seems like I guessed 45 to 60 days. What was it - about 38 days? Anyway, congrats!
