i have been checking out the casinos and playing the no deposit bonus, and the free tourneys. I am ready to do some depositing and have some questions. If you can help me out but don't want to answer on post please let me know. I do not have a bank account. I use prepaid debit cards. What is my best deposit and withdrawal options? I have read through many posts and have not found many answers. There is alot on this site to take in. ;)
 
If you don't have a bank account, forget about gambling online from the US. Checks and bank wires are by far your best options for withdrawal.

Open a bank account.

Not necessarily. Just because you don't have/want a bank account doesn't mean you are doing something illegal.

However, the paper trail that is connected with online gambling defeats the purpose of not having a bank account because of the paper trail.

Marydenjen, since you are going to have to supply ID, utility bill etc. for documentation at all US facing casinos, if you are trying to not leave a paper trail, then maybe gambling online might not be your best form of entertainment.

I think what caught his eye (same as mine) was the "money trail" comment. That's far different that worrying about a paper trail. I can't think of many reasons why someone would say they don't want to leave a money trail, other than avoiding child support payments, taxes, etc etc (all bad). I'm sure there exist many good reasons, but as of now I can't think of any.

No worries, I was just trying to explain what I thought etc. On a side note: I know of one casino that sends cash certified mail, I wonder why others don't adopt that method? Just curious.

In all the years of my online gambling, I've never had a casino send me cash or even offer for that matter. Maybe I should ask from now on.

Anyway, maybe more casinos don't do it because it could be considered money laundering? I don't mean that as a joke, I mean sending money from an 'illegal' endeavor internationally probably breaks some kind of law we have in the US.

Or casinos don't have ready cash to do that for all.
 
No offense to anyone here, but sometimes I wish people would just stop imputing all these shady scenarios into questions which, while they could imply something shady, they could ALSO imply something not shady at all. That is, why can't we give OUR side the benefit of the doubt, that people new to online gaming are asking questions which really are innocent?

He is more than welcome to clarify his stance / position. I don't think anyone in this thread said with an absolute certainty that the OP has shady intentions. If someone asked an odd question such as this, then I think it's perfectly acceptable and fairly normal for someone to then respond / wonder why.

For example I can ask "how does one go about beating casino cashier security checks." I can easily be wanting to gather information for designing my own casino operation. But until I clarify that point, there will always be some people who think "he might have bad intentions."

Guess we agree to disagree.
 
Whatever kind of 'trail' USA gamblers are concerned with (or not)... I wouldn't recommend newbies to begin online gambling at this time. There are just waaaay too many complications to be dealt with.... not the least of which is to get money from here to there and back again.

If he or she lives in Nevada or NJ, then hang on till the state gets their crap together and gamble online then.

:o Thankyou all for your comments. I have always bought and paid in cash. I find I don't spend money I don't have this way. I don't earn alot but I guess thats my choice. I don't see any reason to have an account. But if it's the only way to play then I guess I will open one. I play in Nevada and Oregon alot but thought it might be nice to check out online gambling. I will save money by not having to drive although I like the real life casino movement. Why use a bank if you don't need one? Sorry I didn't make myself understood a little better. I am a very lawful person. :cool:

It's fairly simple. You made a statement that would tend to indicate something suspicious, in other words a red flag. I didn't say you were doing anything illegal. However, everything you wrote above has nothing to do with the statement "Bank accounts leave money trails."

Not everyone will view that as suspicious based on their life experiences, but some will. As I said I'm a fairly simple guy, and I tend not to get caught up in overly complicated ways of explaining / viewing things.

If you can't see why that statement is a red flag I'm not sure how I can break it down any more than I already have in this thread.
 
okay, I got it

Money trail. I guess it was a poor choice of words. I guess i am from the old school where as money trail to me means why should jane, dick, or harry know how I spend my money. Or if my stalker x wants to find me why should I leave a trail for him to find me. I didn't mean anything sinister. I will choose my words more carefully in the future.

I responded to your PM, sorry for the delay. Hope it helps, I agree with the other posters on here, 3-dice until you open a bank account is going to be your best bet for the moment. However, getting an actual win from them due to the tightness of the slots may take some time.
 
Some casinos , accredited ones , offer Western Union as a payment method, be prepared to pay the hefty fee and If I remember right , if it is under 3k there is no legal paper work that has to be filled out by the WU agent, I could be wrong and it may be 1k now but if I had no checking account and wanted no "paper trail " this would be an option.

You will have a hard time getting any casino to pay you from a US bank or a US bank cashing an International check over the counter , you can be assured this will never ever happen.

3Dice as the other poster said would be your best bet as a US player.

Prepaid cards work great as long as they have the Visa logo , Mastercard logo cards can be a hit or miss depositing option.

Some banks will lift the International block if you tell them you buy items online from around the world but be prepared to answer whether you made these purchases as they will ask to verify, for me as a US player, it makes you feel like a criminal of sorts:eek:.
