Use a UKGC licensed one if in the UK, as above is just one example but a good one. Almost all, except big bookmakers who might use bespoke automated checks, will require some form of proof of ID and income after around 2k worth of deposits or maybe less for both AML and RG reasons.

You will also do well to join ones with the best payout percentage (RTP) on their games which for slots tends to be around the 96% mark. Looking around the forum with say 'higher RTP' in the search tool should bring up player feedback for those casinos.

Just something to add, you mentioned the casinos stop paying out 'if you win big' so maybe use the UKGC licensed ones in the Accredited List as they are forbidden from limiting cash-outs or drip-feeding big wins.
