New Rival, US accepted

News on Sunset Slots

Hi Guys,

I go back to this thread and cringe when I look at the rocky start that we had last year. I really have to apologise most profusely for all the hassles and delays that we experienced back then, either from staff inexperience, teething issues or processor issues.

In any event, please be assured that we have been out of the news since then purely because we have ironed out all the kinks and players are largely happy with our service, games and offers.

The fact that a lot of affiliates that were part of the discussions around the issues that we experienced back then are now actively promoting us bears testament to that.

Everybody starts somewhere and we all make mistakes... the important thing is to learn from those mistakes. The thing to keep in mind is that EVERYBODY got paid. We will never leave a player out of pocket on money that is rightfully theirs. The US is always going to be problematic so I can't guarantee timeframes but to say "as fast as possible" is our preferred speed.

So, go ahead... give it a shot and let us know how it goes. We always welcome constructive criticism and the opportunity to better your experience.

I look forward to seeing you in the casino soon!!

Rival casinos tend to have something called "the spirit of the bonus" do you guys also have it?

I actully just signed up there tonight, just to check out promotions, and perhaps deposit if all is good, and weather i would get some ? and what do you know no promotions avalible,
but what strikes me most, was i didnt get a welcome email as you usually do, when you sign up, but they asked me for my Documents to verify within sec of signing up ?

I think like this, how many good or accredited rival casinos are there(I know 1 accredited) and how many bad ones are there (about 30-40?Or just watch the no can do list).

True but even this 1 accredited is having prob paying players, according to some post on this forum now.
So that leaves us with how many, i personally think i signed up for every Rival there was,(was a big fan) and cashed out from all of them (and got paid)
but as soon they started bonus ban me, even though only 10% of my deposits i took a bonus, and when support was AWOL i was gone.
as this is what i look for a good support and fast cashouts.

Here from their T&C's
5. Sunset Slots reserves the right to close your casino account without prior notice. Any balance or pending cashin during such cancellations may be credited to you, however, the casino reserves the right to confiscate any balance or pending cashin for the following reasons:

g. If observations of your playing pattern suggest that you are not playing in the spirit of the game, or deliberately playing at minimum risk in order to cash in bonus money

bonuses have a 30x play through, and there is a maximum withdrawal limit of 20 x bonus + deposit

owned by Silverstone Overseas Limited, so sunset slots appears to be a Rival "white label".

i personally would not play there.

Hi Guys

Firstly , let me apologise for not responding sooner.

Let me try to address these issues one by one...

Hi Labeled , trying us out does not necessarily mean playing with your own money. If the previous poster got a CD in the mail then they can play with the free money that is on offer on that CD. I am not sure how the CC issue factors here given that you would have to do that at any other casino unless youre using a wallet. In fact, I am happy to offer you and the other poster some free money if you let me know your details should you choose to try us out BEFORE writing us off

@The Viking : thanks for signing up. I need to look into your account to see why you were not eligible for bonuses. There is a central database that operators subscribe to and if you were listed on that Db by another rival casino for whatever reason, the system automatically flags you. I am sorry that your first experience with us was a bit of a bummer but I would like the opportunity to try and remedy that if possible?

Your welcome email is sent out automatically and would implore you to check your junk/spam folder for it. Mailing is a challenge and we are always trying to stay ahead of the game to prevent our operational mails being junked. Sometimes, it just happens. I will confirm that it was sent off if you could provide me with your username.

@Sovietsky : thanks for replying. "the spirit of the bonus" - this is the first time that I have heard of it put this way!! I think that you will find that most - if not all casinos have a clause somewhere that speaks to this issue. At the end of the day, bonuses are not mandatory and are there to give players extended game time and in some cases to try out the games at zero risk.

@ Blathaon,: hi, I have addressed this in great detail in the past but possibly not on CM, so let me state emphatically that we are NOT a white-label. My partner and I have put a lot of time, money and effort in trying to build a credible, reliable and entertaining casino using what we believe is really good software. We manage our own acquisition, conversion, retention,Call centers, VIP management and processing between 3 locations. In the few cases where it makes sense because of their reach and /or location we do use Rival to facilitate some processes as any operator/software vendor relationship works.

Some of the mods and old timers here know me and some of my team and know that we are trying to build a sustainable long term business.

I am not sure where you saw the "öwned by silverstone" bit but would love it if you could point me there so that I can have it edited as it is not true.

Guys, please feel free to ask or address anything further with me - Like i said before, we welcome constructive criticism and any opportunity to make your experience as an affiliate or as a player better.

Yes, several casinos have spirit of the bonus clauses. Smart players avoid those casinos like the plague.
You won't find it terribly popular here

First, sending cd offers through physical mail is bad practice, at least i think so. It makes you seem desperate and unprofessional.

the "owned by silverstone" part was not listed at your website.
So when i did some Google searches, sunset slots came up as being a part of silverstone overseas, so i apologize if this is not correct.
Just google "sunset slots silverstone" and you will see this appearing all over the net.

you say you are licensed in Curacao, but the license logo at your page is not clickable. so i could not verify if this is correct, You should update these links, none of the Logos at the bottom of your site is clickable.

Thanks for the info Blathaon - We are definitely not owned by Silverstone!!! It is a remnant of days gone by before we bought the site and the casino.

The website is in the process of a revamp which is why various elements are not clickable but thanks for pointing it out anyway...

So just out of curiosity when did you buy the site?

according to alexa.com , it first appeared in march 2012 and using the wayback machine it looks pretty much identical to now. And every Google search says newly launched Rival 2012 owned by Silverstone overseas/Bonne chance. I am not accusing you of anything, it just looks weird.

We took the site and casino live early in 2012 like you state but the T&Cs were part of the standard Rival template which we got with the casino when we set up. We changed all of that during the course of the year as we realised that there were references to Silverstone and Bonne Chance. I have to admit that it was with a lot of help from the guys at AGD for our certification process as we were so busy getting the processing and player management sorted that these things had slipped by unnoticed!

So does this mean that you have your own license?
Since i assume you aren't using a sub license of silverstone overseas, if so then you should have the curacao logo link to your license.

Hiya, I am not sure what you're trying to ascertain? If you have something specific that you want to ask or know please ask away... if theres an answer that I can give you in this public forum then I will... Trust me when I say that theres no deep dark secrets to uncover here nor are there any conspiracies. We are just businessmen that are trying to run a clean, trustworthy business.

Of course, given the naure of the business, and the same could be said of a lot of other industries too, there's just some information that is not for public consumption.

Licensing is a very complicated area as you are no doubt aware and each jurisdiction has different requirements. Suffice to say at this point that our licensing provisions meet the requirements as set out by the CGA. You're right about the logo pointing to the CGA which it will once we are done with the Website revamp

Licensing is a very complicated area as you are no doubt aware and each jurisdiction has different requirements - all I can tell you at this point is that our licensing in Curacao meets all the requirements as set out by that authority to allow us to conduct this business.

It is a very simple question, how can i know that you have a valid license when you do not link to your license?.

No need to read any deeper into it than that.

I played the chip, and made playthrough - never did a withdrawal from here, but will do so today, and check back in to let you know how it went. Giving the new owners a chance, since they seem sincere about trying to improve the casino. :)

UPDATE: They need a $25 initial deposit (as I've never deposited there before), plus it takes 5-15 days from the time the Accounting Department receives the request in order to process the withdrawal. Then of course, documents for verification (which can be done simultaneously). So it will probably be mid-July before I get paid; that's longer than I like, but I'll bide my time. :) If this goes well, I see no reason why they can't be on my short list.

Rival seems to have been selling a lot more licenses as of late. They're great games- but make sure you read those terms before you claim those bonuses! ;)

DEFINITELY read the terms. I got stupid the other day and done what i thought was a small bonus with CWC. Made $50.00 deposit got $40.00 to play with but the playthrough amount was $1800.00. I burned it down real fast and got the hell out. Make sure to do the math. I rarely use bonuses and that is why they are a huge money sink into the casino.

I personally havent seen that rule on the main casino's I play at. That is not to say though that they are not there. Some of the terms and conditions read like a rocket science manual that gives you a headache 2 paragraphs in.

Hi Sovietsky,

We don't limit you to any percentage that you can play on any game. As is standard we will limit the amount that counts towards fulfilling your wagering requirement when playing specific games, but as for the type of game that you choose to wager on, it is totally up to you.

Thanks again to everyone for their valued feedback.

I am willing to give new Casino's trying to enter into the US a chance. That said, i gave one casino a chance and ended up submitted a PAB and mile long thread with proof of their bs. Long as they dont try to rip anyone off, or cheat people they good to go.
