New providers and Casinos missing out.

The title might not be the best but I thought it may get Casinos and providers to read it.

Now this might be unique to me but I highly doubt it. I have recently seen a lot of new games appearing and some of them by providers that to me at least are relatively new to the market.

In particular @Videoslots have lots of new games every week. I like the look of some of them and I am willing to give them a try but I get totally frustrated wen they either will not load or instantly crash.

Two particular providers I have problems of that nature with are High 5 games and Relax gaming. It could be to do with playing on a mobile as I do get the odd issue but 99% of the time I have no problem with mainstream providers.

Also I am a stubborn sod so please don’t suggest using other browsers or clearing cookies etc. I used to try that but I think it’s down to an issue with the providers platform similar to the one BTG had with Chilli and then Bonanza (still happens occasionally but virtually cured).

I am sure these providers must be aware of this but at the same time the BTG issue went on for ages before being corrected. I just think if people playing on mobiles are generally experiencing the same issue everyone is losing out and also with a significant amount of people playing on a mobile you would think Casinos and providers would want games to be compatible. Wouldn’t you?

How old/new is the phone you are playing on?
I cant imagine providers that are new to the market would neglect to test/optimize for the mobile-market.
Probably more people playing on tablets&phones vs computers these days.

Been a while since i played any mobile-version of a slot due to my tablet deciding to enter an endless sleepmode. But most providers/slots ran smoother on the tablet compared to my laptop even tho its not close in performance.

It’s an iPhone 6 so not new but it plays most providers okay. It generally follows that the more complex the slot the more likely it crashes or will not load.

I have no idea about iphones really.
Could it be a performance issue?
When you say its more likely to crash on more complex slots it almost sounds like it could be.

Hey I have a similar issue with High 5 games - they just will not load. Funny thing is that they used to when i first saw them appear. Now i just get the High 5 symbol and then a blank screen and sometimes an error message.

Yggdrassil wont work on any new releases. Games will load but I get graphics freezes the minute any game does anything flashy on the screen.

Playing on a chromebook which are apparently known to have issues. If i use my google pixel then no probs.

Funny about the lag mentioned on VS and the different experiences we all have. I still find them one of the smoothest sites going. Some, like 32red i dont play anymore because hardly anything works so i end up depositing and not being able to play much. Not too bothered though, they took my Trustly away, have not fixed it and have no interest in fixing it either.

And i think that is the crux of the issue. If the casinos are not getting too many complaints they are not interested in making the games work or fixing the little bugs as they would rather not bother and lose the trade than deal with techie stuff or increase bandwith because their in it for the quick buck not the long haul.

Yes it was the same with Bonanza, the game kept crashing and it was like that for ages. People started complaining and eventually it got fixed.

I have a feeling that I could play High 5 games when they came out but now they crash on loading. The games might not be that great but they look appealing enough to give them a try.

I also find Red Tiger games are not compatible but not a big fan of their games. Although I would give Piggy megaways a few more spins if it played smoothly. I wonder if Netent regret getting them involved? It is painfully clunky on mobile. I can only play about 10 minutes before I start getting annoyed.

Can anyone who has played High 5 games chime in with their experience please.

You need at least an iphone 8.
I used to play with android note 8 and S8 plus but the experience is better for most of the games on an iphone with safari browser.

I have safari browser and most games play absolutely fine. I do think certain sites are very buggy. Redbet for instance, I find I am logged out each time I return to the lobby. I couldn’t load Netent games at Casumo for ages then all of a sudden they are fine again so I do think the problem is with the providers/casinos most of the time.

Some of the newer games do struggle on some of the older technology.

I bought one of those rebuild Dell PC’s off eBay for about a ton. The memory and processor speed were fine but the graphics card couldn’t handle stuff like DHV/Napoleon/millionaire when full screen. A £29.99 graphics card off eBay cured it and now everything runs so smooth it’s been a bargain.

I do find on iPhones u definitely get more disconnections on BTG games than u do using chrome on my PC. And sometimes the games don’t always load properly.

U can tell older iPhones struggle with some of the games (especially blueprint) as they hammer the battery and the phone gets very hot!! Primal almost use to set fire to my old iPhone 6!!!

Much better now tho on a later model.

I much prefer connecting my PC to my 60 inch TV and spinning away whilst lying in bed then I do on my phone anyway.

You can buy a decent PC cheap enough and a graphics card with an HDMI port for peanuts.

Then watch full screen HD as Bonanza rips the piss out of you!!

Something worth posting is that i have a Pixel 1. Yes, a Pixel 1 about 3 years old and it works like new. No probs with any slots.

Didnt Apple get fined for deliberately screwing with their old phones to encourage people to buy the latest models? That reason alone is enough to put me off iphones. Every one i have had gets slow after about 6 months.

Yes the things you have mentioned are the same things I have been experiencing. I am due a phone upgrade soon but maybe I will do like you say and hook up to the TV. Although not the best with technology it sounds relatively straight forward, cheers for that.

The AirPlay is a bit dodgy for me throwing the stuff up on the telly. Sometimes it takes a good while to actually get on it but not sure it’s Samsung or Apple for the macbook/phone

Even when it does run ok you have to mute it as the sound is dodgy as hell but generally speaking it’s not bad

Not a fan of mobile play but think it’s cos Iv never really had a good session on mobile; normally use it for Tub Time :p

Oooh gambling in the bath....double the fun......not tried that, im off to run a bath.

Edit: Is there a Rubber Ducky slot?

there’s that Netent slot? Can’t remember the name....

Oh yeh, the ducky one with the big multipliers. I was thinking fishin frenzy megaways - i already have a maggot to fish with :p

On a similar note my lil boy said the other day 'Daddy, why do girls have noon noons?' i said 'so they can wee wee like we use our winkeys' to which he replied 'ive got a little winkey'.

Hmmmm, my pals have already cracked the 'like father like son' jokes.

Yeah, their forced updates made older models slow.
Since they make almost no upgrades between the models, they need to find other ways to make people buy the new phones.

On another note regarding new providers have you noticed how they are leaning towards high variance yet the minimum stake you can play these games on is slowly creeping higher and higher.

I checked a few games out recently at videoslots and some of the minimum stakes are 50p. I noticed one at 80p and today a new game called hot cross bunnies had a min stake of £1. The other frightening thing was the speed you could play each spin.

I cannot see any longevity for these games which makes me think casinos and providers are out for the quick buck. Churn them out as quick as possible and as fast as one gets left on the shelf there will be a new one for the naive and uneducated to begin playing.

No retribution will ever take place because these games will never have the required amount of spins played through them for any valid conclusion to be drawn.

Call me cynical because I am.
