Does anyone have any thought or an opinion on the new Bonus structure that just launched?

For the first time in as far back as I can remember, there has been a dramatic change as to how bonus chips are allocated, and how you are able to cash out.
Effective already, you can actually cash out PRIOR to 30X playthrough, but only a portion of the Cash balance.....otherwise you need to play the bonus through 50X now instead of 30X.

Example: I deposited $75 to get $125 in total chips. ($50 bonus) BUT....with this new system your bonus balance actually grows with a medium to big line pay. Within an hour my cash balance was $114 and my bonus balance was $86. According to the new rules, I would have been allowed to cash $114 immediately, if I were to sacrifice the $86 of bonus funds.

I am not certain if this change is across all MG casinos, or just this group. I am undecided as to how I feel about the almost doubled playthrough requirement versus being able to cash in early......hmmmm

I first saw this new system at Lucky Nugget. It looks like it's being rolled out to other Digimedia brands. I had a massive 66K win under this system, and my bonus balance grew to 33K. Naturally, I completed the remaining WR as the original bonus was a few hundred. When WR is finished, the whole lot suddenly becomes withdrawable cash, and despite losing, I managed to again get the balance back to the 66K peak, and this time it was all cash.

For a big win therefore, the ability to withdraw early should not be taken. However, for more modest wins it's possible that an early withdraw is better mathematically than completing the remaining WR (based on the average 95% expected RTP from a hit early in the session). You can still see that actual WR outstanding by going to the withdrawals screen where it will show the balances, and also the figure for the outstanding WR. The system does not let you estimate remaining WR from the bonus balance as it doesn't use the normal method of converting 10 credits to cash every 300 (500 in this case) wagered.

For UK players, it's whether Betway decide to introduce this new system that matters.

That system sounds very fermiller from a long time back,

What happens if you bust out on cash than do you start using the bonus straight away

Cheers
