just wondering if anyone had recently went into the facility to load their netspend prepaid and was offered a flare account card instead? I was told it loads just like the prepaid I already have EXCEPT this card would be issued with a bank and routeing number the bank branch name was metabank .. or something like that. I was told I could use my regular banking account to fund my new flare account card.. and I could also have money sent via wire to my flare account pre paid. as long as I have the banking routeing number. if that's the case im wondering if the casinos would be able to wire directly to this new pre paid flare account? I contacted several accredited casinos and they told me to ask netspend if international wire transfers would be accepted. if so they would look further into this withdrawl option for u.s players. I have not went into the facility yet to find out any more info. but I intend to do so. but I was wondering if any other players had heard of this new option offered by netspend.? if so any imput would be nice. im leaning on maybe trying it but not sure. once money from a casino is wired to the new prepaid card. AKA / flare account .. then my money could be wired from that account straight to my reg bank sounds pretty simple.. but not sure about it all.

Reda,

I really never liked Netspend. They would charge me international fees, even if the transaction failed. Time after time. I don't think it's a good idea to use this particular card. They charged me 5 times for transaction failure, so I never had enough money to make the minimum deposit amount after transaction attempts.

I cut my card up years ago.

I would be very wary with Flare, too. I think you may be asking for trouble because this 'American' thing.

tks so much for your reply. I appreciate it. I so far have not did the flare bank account with the netspend card. i don't use the card as much as i used to. seems the loading fee is now 4.00 and international use on internet accounts still charge me the 3 dollars per transactions. and i have tried the 9.95 a month for a set fee . but i still got charged anyway per transaction. so ill just set that option aside for now .. unless i really hear good things about the option. tks
