Net Entertainment has announced it's stopping its services in three different online casino brands in Canada.

The software provider said they will no longer provide its games to Guts Casino, Betspin Casino and Rizk Casino, all three managed by Malta based Gaming Innovation.

Other gaming providers are still offering Canadian players a wide array of different games. Since NetEnt is pulling them out of the market players not only are getting their games taken away, but their special promotional bonuses offered at NetEnt powered online casinos too.

Regulations in Canada are said to be a ‘bit fuzzy’. Online gaming options are provided by local gaming corporations. The reason other gaming providers are okay to offer their services within the country is because they have no offices based there.

NetEnt isn’t the only gaming provider to decide to stop catering to Canadian players. William Hill closed its operations back in May.

The reason William Hill pulled out of the region was due to Canada regulations. William Hill said it was reasons “beyond their control”.

Firstly, this article is not the whole truth. ALL casinos have been asked not to provide Net Ent games to Canadian players and all three of the Gaming Innovation Group companies have complied with this. However this extends only as far as Canada and there is absolutely no intention to remove net ent games completely. We will continue to provide them in every jurisdiction that Net Ent does not restrict.

This is not confined to Net Ent, many other game suppliers restrict Canada as a territory. WMS/Scientific Games, IGT to name but 2

As Dionysus says, we have openly told our Canadian Players that Net Ent want to restrict Canadian players on their games from all casino's not just Guts/Betspin/Rizk. We are aware that others are still offering net ent games but we are also informed that these will be pulled into line asap.
