NetEnt Bonus Round Crash

Afternoon all,

This afternoon I was playing Creature from the Black Lagoon from NetEnt. Those of you who know this game will know that 4 scatter triggers are significantly better than 3 scatter triggers because of the mechanics of the bonus round - where more spins give you more chances to "kill the creature" and upgrade.

After hundreds of spins trying I eventually triggered the feature with 4 scatters. I was excited. The first spin paid just shy of 50x and I did some damage to the creature. 14 spins to go, creature already injured, already paid 50x... and the game crashed. I wasn't worried because I knew the bonus round would resume when I relaunched the game.

Well... it didn't. I relaunched the game and it didn't resume. I pressed "spin" and a normal spin was performed. Now, obviously I was quite upset at this because the 4 scatter trigger is rare and the bonus had started out so well. I contacted live chat and they assured me that all games had been paid and that my last couple of spins were losses. I assured them this was not the case. I checked the game history myself and could see the "broken" spin (as the wager is zero as opposed to all of my other spins at 20p). I have attached a screenshot. Live chat agreed to escalate the issue to the Games Team and I'm now waiting to hear - presumably won't be until next week now.

Has anyone else had a similar issue? If so, how was it resolved? I assume NetEnt won't be able to reinstate the game; but will they be able to confirm that there was a bonus round which got "broken" and advise what it would have paid?

So frustrating!

Oh yeah! Netent Slots are reviewed at Casinomeister - to include their associated casinos! Woo woo!
Be careful with Bonuses!
It is  crucial  that you understand and agree to the terms and conditions of any bonus that you accept. Most of the complaints that come through our arbitration service are bonus related; it would be safe to say that there are tens of thousands of players who have never complained because they realized after the fact that they did not understand or had never read the terms. Nothing in a casino is free – so whenever you see “free” being used, there are stipulations. It is important for you to understand that.

Please check out our Bonus Section that lists the offers given by our Accredited Casinos. No deposit bonuses, welcome bonuses (AKA sign up bonuses [SUBs]), exclusive bonuses, reload bonuses, free spin bonuses...all this and more!
Oh another netent crash on a slot, I am still waiting for my answer from videoslots.:(
Oh dear, have you been waiting long? I shouldn't think it would be too difficult for them to check; they either have the data or they don't?
Taking a wild stab in the dark, would this have occurred at Platin Casino?
Yes you're right - I didn't name them in the original post as I'm not criticising the casino as they haven't had much of an opportunity to investigate yet. Have you experienced similar?

about a week so far.

For what it's worth I used to play here and a sister site and all netent games would frequently disconnect. Luckily I never had an issue with a bonus round but I reported the issue to their support who told me to do usual rubbish of clearing cookies etc, it never got resolved though.

Any joy yet slotmaster?

I've been waiting over a week now and no response from Platin Casino. I have engaged with Live Chat several times to request an update but they're not able to tell me anything. They won't even confirm that the matter has been passed to NetEnt to investigate. Very disappointed with the customer service.

Not really, argue with you and no answers is acceptable nowadays, and not getting paid for the win.
