Hey Guys,

i just can't believe for what reasons people can prefer Neteller over Moneybookers (Skrill). I always cash out to the e-wallet and from there i sometimes withdraw money to my bank account. For me, if you want to work with Bank accounts Neteller is horrible.

Skrill: Fee for Bank Withdrawal 2$
Neteller: Free for Bank Withdrawal 10$

Avg. Duration of Bank Withdrawal from the Moment i clicked on it: Skrill 12 to max. 48 hours until it showed up in my bank account
Avg. Duration of Bank Withdrawal from the Moment i clicked on it: Neteller at least 5 working days until i see it in my bank account

Horrible... What are your experiences?

I use neteller I also use instant bank.

Deposit to neteller via instant bank goes instant and no fees.
Withdraw from neteller via instant bank goes instant and no fees.

How does instant bank work?

When i withdraw to bank account it says "3-5 days" and it means 5-7 days until i have the money.

I am not fond of either but use neteller for the convenience . My problem with Skrill is lack of trust- One of the members here has had major issues with his account being hacked and the response from Skrill was woeful- I have also had a skrill acct misused by a third party who hacked onto my inetbet acct and withdrew to skrill and then withdrew the funds- Inetbet refunded them for me but that and KK's issue has made me very wary of Skrills security and CS. Suggest you do a search for the story - use the old name moneybookers.

I used to exclusively use Skrill, but now they are blocking payments to casinos from some countries, mine included. Necessitated a switch over to Neteller.

Skrill has been too much of a hassle for me. When I want to use a New Credit Card (Old One Expired or Lost) to upload funds, they charge a random amount to the card for verification. It's all well and good; however I can ONLY see that amount when my statement comes out. I need the exact amount to get the card verified. I want to upload funds NOW... not in 10 days.

When I upload a New Card to Neteller, I am able to upload funds immediately. I generally use the NetPLUS Card at ATM's so I am happy with that.

Also, Skrill sent a address verification code which I never received and they do not resend them. Limits are also an issue for me.

Agreed Nate, the only thing I can add is that if you activate your credit card for online banking, you can see the Skrill test amount in 24-48 hours in your recent transactions.

I agree on the verification hassle. Tried to verify my credit card but the amount appears in AUD but Skrill wants it in the USD amount. After an incorrect attempt had to wait 24hrs to re-verify. Not using it any more.

Very strange, especially when you have online banking and within few seconds you can see reserved amount on your card. Skrill and only Skrill for me. I'm using Skrill for almost 10 years already and never had any problem.

Yeah, if you look above Nate already acknowledged that fact.

As for doing it instantly, if you know your available balance on your card, do the verification amount and a minute later check your available balance again, and work out the difference to get the random amount. This will only work though if there is NO required reference code listed by the transaction; these can only be seen a day or 2 later when the transaction ahs been fully processed.

That's the issue I have with currencies :) - Yes I can see it on Online Banking but its not in my Skrill currency .. I need to wait for a Statement for that ...

Neteller over Skrill all day every day! Skrill has been costing me a lot of money, and they don't respect customers the same way Neteller does.

Neteller ATM prepaid card is free and max daily ATM = 750 euros, while the fee is 4 euros for every ATM withdrawal.

Skrill ATM prepaid card is 10 euros on annual basis and max daily ATM = only 250 euros, while the fee is 1.80 euros for every ATM withdrawal.

Skrill has a habit of fucking people over with their fees: forex fees, receiving money fee. They basically take every penny where possible from their customers.

Stay away from Skrill would be my advice!

Well for a normal (not a heavy user) fees at Neteller are worse.

If i want to withdraw to my bankaccount Neteller charges me 10$!!! Skrill only 2.

I moved to Neteller from Skrill nearly a year ago and I've never looked back.

Skrill absolutely nailed me on fees for everything they could, and IIRC I couldn't get one of their cards because of the country I live in.

I just load my Neteller account with my gaming credit card (which I keep fully paid off at all times), deposit to and withdraw from casinos with Neteller, and if I want to get my winnings out I use my NET+ card at any ATM, there's a daily limit of £500 for a £3 fee.

Admittedly I've never done any direct bank transfers with them so I can't comment on that, I suppose if I ever got a really big win or a progressive or something, the £500 per day wouldn't cut it and I'd have to do a bank transfer.

For a low-roller like me though it's a perfect set up.

LOL....That post could have been written by me - I closed Skrill and opened up with Neteller, I too have the card and w/d cash, I too load it up with a certain credit card and have never made a bank transfer. Weird. But then I'm a low-roller too.

I'm with Nate on all of those points which is why I prefer Neteller. Plus the NetPlus ATM card is great. Plus they let me have two accounts in different currencies. Plus their VIP support has a fantatstic response time, rarely if ever more than 30 minutes.

But...their FX fees seem a bit higher. Their general level of service has improved so much since the US closed it's worth it though. Might change when they start in the US again though, that would be my only real concern.

I’m looking for a withdrawel method that’s fast that doesn’t charge you fees

I guess Trustly is the best option then. That goes directly both to and from your bank, but I'm not sure when it comes to fees. It used to be free at least here.
You probably need to accept that they all want their piece.
