Neteller Outage

Having been unable to log into Neteller for the past few hours, I phoned through to check.

I can confirm that Neteller is currently down. This is an unsheduled outage and no definite time can be given for resolution.

Give the annoying problems with money coming from Neteller and failing to credit to casinos under such situations, I have decided not to make any deposits until the main site is up again.

The CS rep also told me that a sheduled outage is not likely for tomorrow as seems usual for Mondays now.

This should prove to be a huge screw up what with Game 5 of the NBA Finals coming up at 6:00 PST.

Have a good one.

Well, crap! For the first time in a week I decide I want to blow a few bucks at a casino, and no deposits will go through. I always log into my NETeller account before depositing anywhere, and had no problems getting into my account.

I tried and failed ("cannot connect to NETeller, try again later") to deposit (once) at 2 different casinos. Now, I'll have to wait awhile to see if these show up as being subtracted from NETeller but not showing up at the casinos.

I wish I'd seen this first! Thanks for the heads up VWM.

I never requested any $10,000 or more EFT transfers. I'm pretty sure this e-mail has something to do with neteller being down. Someone at the 2+2 forums said that neteller might have been attacked but im not sure.

I think I'd be calling NETeller up, hoopla, especially if you had any halfway decent amount in your NETeller account.

Much less an amount over 10 grand. :eek2:

Hoopla, like Mac said, I'd be calling NETeller pronto! Whether you have that kind of money in there or not, I'd call to make sure whether that weird email was a goof up or not. :eek2:

In answer to your question, no I haven't received such a letter.

Update

Neteller is working fine now, so everybody worried can check their balances.

In diagnosing the "EFT exceeding $10,000" E-mail, add up transactions over the past 30 days and see if gross deposits exceed this amount.

The documents, once provided, will allow you bigger limits with Neteller.
Above this, there is VIP, with limits of $120,000 per month, $60,000 per week, and max balance of $150,000 - I doubt many players would encounter problems with limits at this level unless they won Millionaire's Club at Intercasino!

Yeah turned out to be a false alarm for me. Neteller really did send that e-mail for the reasons vinyl pointed out. Now I have to go through the hassle of faxing them documents.. ugh.

Generally speaking, neteller will down for outage about 3~4 times per month.

Thanks for posting this. If I didn't see this, I may not have noticed the $50 that went into Neteller limbo during this outage. I'll be giving them a call tonight to get the cash back in my account.

On a seperate note, ECash continues to impress me. The response time abd quality of their support department is stellar. That combined with fast cashouts and a great way to track bonuses and frequent player programs makes them top notch in my book. They helped me find that the $50 never arrived in my Ecash account from NT.

Quite, but this was one of their unscheduled "crashes". Normally, outages are designed to annoy us Brits, because we have that "stiff upper lip" and take all the "crap" dished out to us. Not so any longer!!!! Companies should remember this!
I do not like being told (or rather finding out the hard way), that on randomly selected Monday and Wednesday mornings I may not play online till around 2pm; unless I am prepared to deposit at 6am first!!!

I don't know what Neteller have done, but I no longer have any withdrawal options!! I have a premier Neteller account and cannot even transfer to other neteller members :what:

Anyone else experiencing the same?

Me too.

Informed Neteller support team a few (6) hours ago. They didn't know the situation and promised they would ask their IT department to look at it.

I'm not having the same problem with a basic account, I guess. I do seem to be missing $50... still looking into that one.

this morning i couldn't change my password.
I log in and out four times and made it.

That's very worrying.

Logging into Neteller just brings up an error message at the moment.

The withdrawal facility is resumed as of now. I have successfully transferred funds to my Neteller Debit Card.
