Sigh, it's been driving me mad, I thought it was the kids doing using blinking minecraft and Youtube that was stopping it loading. LOL

According to their Twitter they are no further forward in sorting the issue. All my money is tied up in Neteller's account god damn it.

Any casino's wishing to offer me a Bonus in the mean time will be my first port of call to deposit should Neteller ever actually come back on line. :D

:mad::mad::mad:

Been down for a while now.. =/ this is pretty bad, catastrophic really - especially for those who have money and rely on it in Neteller. I wonder if the net+ card still works at ATMs and point of sales?

rumours (as there always is) that they have been hacked. Someone asked on twitter directly and they said they had no further information. :what::what::what::what::what:

They are not helping by providing so little info. After this length of time their social networking response is appalling.

Their CEO needs to do his or her job properly.

99% of companies with unexpected downtime won't say anything until they know what the problem is, what caused it and that it has been prevented from reoccurring.

Something like this will always cause some sort of fall-out so it's generally seen as more sensible to settle on the verbal kind which can usually be managed after the event than bluffing an answer and risk looking like you don't know what the cause and effect are or worse, providing someone with enough information to either take advantage or have the problem re-occur.

It's common business practice. Find the problem, fix the problem, provide a response. Then handle all the fall-out from the speculators.

Sorry but no. This is is the kind of behaviour of a company in the 80's and 90's.

The situation is exacerbated when money is concerned.

Internally they will be going through a diagnostic and resolution process. The position will be known and should be shared as time progresses. For example -

"We're aware and investigating"

"We'be identified the cause and are working on a solution"

"We're testing our fix and expect to complete this by x time"

"Our testing revealed other issues we're working on"

Ongoing until rectified. But most importantly in this case - assurance our money is safe.

I note they did this on Twitter before then appeared to delete those tweets.

That worries me at this stage.

I agree that the more information provided is better for those with a vested interest (I am among them). But I fully understand why they might not choose to provide information, yet.

Also, in this case I am not in the slightest bit worried about my money as Optimal Payments just paid 2 gazillion quid for Skrill so I think they'd have enough to cover even the largest of hacks* :D

* Speculation at it's finest.

Would we ever be able to feel 100% safe? I doubt it as who says it would not be some kind of billionaire russian mafia who bought the whole lot and then freezes all accounts and take all the money? Just been thinking about that. I wonder how much money is actually in all accounts right now put together......

Neteller are the worst for unscheduled downtime - if this is the your first experience of it you cant have been using them long! It happens all the time with them, but they have never lost customers money and they have been through DOJ seizure of assets and paid out so I think you can rest easy in that respect.

Skrill are great in that they (almost) never have unscheduled downtime. I am really hoping the merger does not go through :(.

The worst neteller bug is when you deposit and the money leaves your neteller account but it doesn't arrive in the casino. Really stressfull and can take days to sort that out.

I seem to remember them being down for 3 days once a few years back (neteller) - was a complete rabble rabble rabble on social media :D

They are saying now its a cyber attack, from NETELLER facebook page 20 mins ago

NETELLER is currently subject to a cyber-attack. The type of attack is a denial-of-service (DoS) which means the criminals want to keep you from using the service. Our teams are working hard to resolve the issue. Currently the website is affected, as well as the payment processing system.
All funds are safe in your accounts or with merchants and no personal data is at risk.

We are expecting to return to normal service soon and we apologise for the inconvenience caused.

hope too the skrill thing doesn't go thru....or even if it does they let it remain separate altogether

anyways this incident should definitely wake them up since it's been lots of lost revenue for a day....should make them realize they need to invest in making their services robust

What the hell is soon? soon as in a few minutes, hours, days what???? I appreciate they could not have foreseen this - but what I can not bear is the lack of communication. A frequent update as to the status would help me be more patient. possibly...:rolleyes:

ohhh BTW managed to logon via my mobile but not on desktop.

The Lameness storm will pass as it has passed before Neteller isn't the first place to be hit by hacks cia , stock exchange , and etc etc do you honestly think people will let the crims slide
long as their transmitting their DoS they are leaving a signature like honey to the bear the skrill thing will go through just flick the fly off neteller get back up guys .

they are back ... my balance was safe ... i just logged in and made a deposit to betat ..

not a bad down time for me though :D

as i cant deposit i reversed a withdrawal of 250 at 32red ( first time reversing in 2years)

and was down to 13 euros then i hit a winning spree on play boy 2 bonus round payed X300 and 2 payed X100 on 1.20 bet all in 400 spins

made it to 950 withdrawn 800

can login ... can't login maybe is a new game from neteller ... for me the hacker that made (The type of attack is a denial-of-service (DoS) is the hundred of member that after a lot of years can't win a single neteller prize promotion !

Tried to deposit several times now at Betat, but it wont go through.
The depositpage just returns blanco after trying to deposit, and no money was added.
I can login to my Neteller account no problem.

I had that earlier, I tried again without exiting the cashier and it worked. Same issue at Redbet.
