All,

Where do i go with this?

An operator is telling me they cannot remove a bank card due to net deposit limits. This is fine. However, there are issues with this.

CS is telling me I must either show them proof the bank account is closed or show them a direct replacement card from the same bank.

The bank I was using to deposit no longer allow gambling transactions, so this in itself is a problem.

Any ways round this?

Cheers

you can add new card

When does a bank no longer allow gambling transactions??

It’s ur money you spend it on what u like??

Unless of course you’ve blocked them personally? Then decided you want to punt again???
I mean starling made coinbase withdrawals impossible for me, has to start doing it via PayPal into the same starling account.

If starling can prevent crypto incoming payments I guess other banks can prevent gambling incomings

I think crypto payments are a little different to standard card transactions.

Can the OP confirm which casino and bank it is??

I had a similar problem with sky years ago about net deposit limits and withdrawals but was solved with a sensible CS agent. Not that there are many of those around!!!!

I still think that the easiest option would be to just ask the bank for a closure confirmation letter. By the looks of it, they keep all the info for 5 years. This example is from Lloyds:

And it shouldn't matter who the confirmation is for, be it a gambling company or an estate agent.

ah, It's probably best then to tell them that the bank has stopped allowing gambling transactions, and provide any documentation that shows the bank's policy change. It should be in their terms. Then see what they say.

Hey all.
Its Sky, yes. You can clearly tell they are reading from scripts. They've no idea.
I've explained everything everyone has already mentioned but are still asking for documentation i am unable to supply.

Exactly this. Like talking to a wall.
Asking for proof of closure. The account isn't closed. 😂

Which bank has decided they no longer allow gambling transactions??? I’m intrigued??

Skybet sports betting odds are appalling, their price boosts are normally +EV though. But for football and horses etc they are amongst the worse. 365 and hills for football and horses are amongst the best.

As for their vegas games, well like Jans beloved ABC they run mid range RTP levels and lower, so you’ll want to avoid those as well.

too many gambling related transactions increases your risk score. At a point they decide to close your account. Happens quite often.

Its just an online bank. Yeah, I mainly just use their price boosts etc.

To be fair, id not checked through RTP, the main factor for me is that if I should win, I get paid in a timely fashion.
