This is pretty darned incredible. Nasa had people send in selfies of themselves, and they used them to create a mosaic of the earth. Take a look, you can zoom in and see the actual pics, each photo=1 pixel of the finished image. Funny the first place I zoomed had some teenager doing the duck face. 
lol there are probably a whole bunch of them - if they beam it into outer space the aliens will think the women on this planet are deformed.
Anyhow the whole thing is pretty awesome - I think so anyhow.
