Okay I got caught up with all of the threads I missed since yesterday. So I thought I'd start another. lol..... My brain must be starved for knowledge.
Anyway First of all I want to give MY personal preferance as far as USA deposit / withdrawal methods.
Depositing from the USA, I chose the Pre-paid All Access Visa card that you can get from www.netspend.com .
I find several benefits in doing this.
1. Convenience. Tap Tap Tap in your numbers at your casino of choice and use as any standard Visa. Registering your card once you receive it, allows you 24 / 7 access to all your transactions online. You also now, have ONE card, specifically used for your gambling fix.
2. Safety. Because you load set amounts of money onto your card, you have control over what's on there, and have less of a chance a casino may accidently double charge your card. (If you know you're going to gamble with $50.00 that day, load $50 onto the card. A casino can't accidently take what is not there after that's been deposited)
3. Discapline. You pre-determine what's on your card. And if you struggle with the temptation to keep depositing, you simply cannot deplete funds you have not put on it without having to go re-load it again.
4. Privacy. It eliminates having to give out personal information about yourself to 3rd parties, in order to conduct a transaction, and 3rd party fees. Your bank (husband/wife...lol) knows nothing.
Now as far as withdrawal, I don't know if there are casino's that can apply your winnings to your Pre-paid. I know Bodog can do it with a standard credit card.
Waiting for your money to arrive by means of moneygram / western union by the casino, while a lengthier process, gives you your winnings ''cash in hand'' when you pick it up. You can load a bit on your pre-paid, pay some bills, deposit some in your bank etc... In other words, you're less tempted to feed it all back to the casino and more apt to make more use of your winnings.
Some other tid - bits...
Having that ONE card, that you use specifically for your online gambling transactions, makes providing fax back documentation to the casino's much easier.
I went to my local Fed Ex, and for $4.50 had them scan my one card, front and back, liceanse, a 'generic' fax back form, and a copy of a voided check (in place of utility bill, to show address, with the routing and account number on the bottom inked out. - This was okay with Club world, but check to make sure your casino of choice is dead set on the utility bill) and Fed ex put these all on a disk for me to load into my computer. So you have the information at your fingertips and can send to the casino in seconds through email.
This is just MY personal preferences and why... The thread is open to anyone who wants to express their favorite methods of choice for payment/withdrawal and why. Not just to USA.
