then I should also write an article fully explaining why I feel the way I do toward "CAP", here is a preface to the article I just published and if anyone wants to read the rest you can find it

Casino Affiliate Programs (CAP)

CAP stands for Casino Affiliate Programs an online gambling affiliate and conference promotion group that offers a centralized promotion type hub for online casinos that pay a fee to have their casino programs listed there, for those of you that do not know what I am talking about here. They have had their website up on the Internet for a little over eight years now. When they first started out they were intentioned on Rating Casino Affiliate Programs which I originally believed was a good step forward for the Online Casino Industry in general.

But over the years they started charging a fee for the Casino Affiliate Programs to receive a so called Safety Seal which is CAPs seal of approval that says in....read the rest

A tad speculative on who wrote the "anonymous" post Rob - coulda been anyone from many who has a grudge/been banned/enjoys revelling in politics.

Can you post the IP of that anonymous poster and we can probably find out if its linked? I suspect not myself, but hey I was always the optimist :D

I will have my IT team here later today to pin point it down for me..;)

Well, I get regular hate mails from CAP and some CAP members.

I don't publish them, because I don't run a porn site.

They use Proxies and php contact forms and obviously don't want to be traced.

Usually, these scumbags just demand I remove the negative CAP information that is on my site or they demand I preform homosexual acts on them, once in while they threaten. But they can't do anything to hurt me more than they have already done. So it is just annoying now.

I may not be able to 'prove' in court of law or in an open forum that the management and some members of CAP is who have been doing this, but I 'know' who it is. Who else would care what I wrote about CAP?

This whole thing stinks...

The rotten core of a lot of things are showing in this episode...

And now I see the cover up coming (I hope I'm wrong).

Money is talkn, and the parities involved are currently joining together in silence and denial, no one wants to lose any money or business, especially these days. So the business will continue, with a new unspoken censorship in place...

P.S. Rob, one of CAPs dirty little tricks is to put pressure on the affiliate programs you promote to drop you or just ignore you or they just tell the programs your a 'bad' affiliate. They've done this to me...

BTW - Did everyone forget that this whole thing started because CAP was double dealing and playing dirty with the affiliates and the Casino programs???

Don't forget to come back here and let us all know who sent it. We are all waiting on the edge of our seats in anticipation! :D

I've been working for several years now with some of the brightest IT guys that money can buy in another field and business, late last night they were able to nail down and pinpoint the exact IP Address and even better than that the actual MAC address of the machine that the so called "Anonymous" poster was using when they posted that message....

I have decided though after some good advice from a close friend of mine not to make this info public just quite yet as I can use this info for other things that will be more beneficial to me in the long run, if you get what I mean here...;)

Afraid I don't "get" the last cryptic sentence, Rob....

But when it is possible to reveal all I for one really look forward to that expose - sounds like a good story.

You've made everything else public (on atleast 3 forums that I've seen) and since you have accussed CAP of this IMO you need to VERIFY if it the truth or NOT asap.

Personally I doubt that anyone from CAP did this and I'm hopeful that you will acknowledge that.

Not to derail the thread. But out of interest GamTrax, what is your take on the allegations levelled at Warren and Lou concerning their involvement with CardSpike?

..

Well quite honestly, anything that is "anonymous" is totally worthless while it remains so in my opinion Rob. There are so many people involved on both sides that it could simply be any saddo just stirring the pot for the hell of it. If people prefer to believe it's CAP then that's their call, but the objective people will simply disregard it until it's proved one way or the other.

Like Simmo said, there are a lot of people trying to stir the pot, just out of boredom or whatever.

Go ahead and send me the IPs if you'd like. I know which ones are used by members of CAP admins. But to be honest, I don't think they would target your blog.

FWIW - no CAP groupie has ever sent me a nastygram. Nor has anyone from CAP berated or threatened me either. And I've been quite critical about CAP in a most public way.

With all due respect Rob, to announce in your first thread that someone high up at Cap left the message and then announce that you would not reveal who the poster is borders on being malicious.

If you chose not to post the identity, it's best to retract your first post.

In all due respect Mercy I did say that "I figured", not that I was certain in my first post, and if you re-read it you will see that. But if it were not someone directly connected to CAP why would they care or not whether I had anything good or bad to say regarding CAP, and if you remember the quote they made "You better not say anything else negative about CAP if you want to keep playing at ANY online casinos. This is a promise!" Who else in this business could possibly have that kind of power over casinos other than someone high up the chain at CAP ?

For the rest of you that either believe me or not is really of no relevence to me at this point since like I previously said my IT guys were able to track down the IP address and the MAC address that the poster used. Lots0, hit the nail on the head too as to the reason that I will not reveal this info now or maybe never. It all depends on a lot of things that may or may not happen in the near future. But it has been digitally recorded for future use if and when needed.

I do hope you guys can respect my decision here and if not, well I will just have to deal with that I guess.

I don't believe that it was my blog per-say that they were targeting, rather using it as a means to get a message thru to me regarding posts that I had made here and also on other forum boards.

I guess I am a 'pot stirrer', but it is not out of boredom, I have other things to do.

I think all this is just a bit over due in coming out to the public.
Sorry, if public exposure makes some feel uncomfortable.

Un-like Rob, I have never bothered to trace down the IP's of the people that harass me...

But as I said before, I may not be able to prove it, but I know who is doing it.

Funny thing, right after I posted in this thread about the harassment...
The harassing emails stopped.

Hi Webzcas,

My interest is to see that everyone gets paid and that is the direction that I will devote my attention.

If earnings have been earned and are due and payable without recourse, why wouldn't they be paid? Is there a free speech clause in their agreement?

Why was payment withheld in the 1st place?
bet they paid theirselves their wages:rolleyes:

Are YOU owned money? I'm not the person to direct those questions to or here to answer any questions as it relates to CardSpike/EM. I just wanted to reply to webzcas.

Whether I am owed money or not was not the question, so certainly not the answer. Your reply indicated that your only concern was getting people paid and I asked why getting paid would be a concern. Bryan expressed the same concern as you. It was a relevent question in response to what was being said. I wanted to know the relevence of your statement. Why would that distress you in any way, shape or form? When I ask a straight question, in reply to a comment I don't fully understand, I expect a civil and direct answer. Your response tells it all.
