Happy 40th Birthday to my young lady!
First registered May-13th 1980, I bought her when she was just 2 years old in 1982.
Although we went on many trips in the 80's in the UK and Europe, including France, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Monaco & Italy, I didn't ride her much for the next 30 years - hence the low 34,000 miles on the clock.
This was the Japanese first attempt to try to copy the laid-back easy rider style of the great US Harleys. But all they did was take a standard XS750, add 2 inches to the forks and stick cow-horn handlebars on it!
Not the most comfortable of bikes; the seat is hard, the brakes less than amazing, the suspension... well shocking by modern day standards! But she still runs as sweet as a nut and is an absolute pleasure to ride!
