I wasnt sure if I could since it was freespins given by the casino. I didnt know the wager terms on it either so thought I might break bonus terms if I buy it

After I hit this I went to live chat expecting the wager to be 30x or something but they said it was wager free and I was like :o

I don't know what win hoarding is or why it would break a rule and I tried entering the contest before it closed, what's the problem?
Your entire participation in the competition takes place after the time limit (which is not prohibited in the terms). You post hits that are 4 days old and at the time of the hits you have remembered to take live screenshots but you have not posted them here even a day late but only after the time limit.

This means that other players have not had time to respond because they have not been aware of your entire participation or these hits. If those all hits were yesterday or you had posted all the hits even a day late after screenshot taken, there would be no problem with this but now your behavior raises the question of the spirit of fair play. I will not cry if I do not win a prize because of this, but the rules should be checked in the future if this player's actions are accepted. Based on the previous page, this is completely clear win hoarding but I am not a judge.

The hits that I posted are from 27/28/39/30 of this month, which was within the competition period as far as I knew. The reason I took screen shots was to post them in the January winners thread, not to enter the contest.

It didn't occur to me to enter the contest until the competition was almost over. I just happened to click the thread and after doing so is when I realized I had submissions I could make, so I did so thinking it would be a bit of fun, which turned out not to be the case.

@PeenyBunslinger Your entries haven't been included in this competition. Submitted minutes before the comp was due to close and all dumped into one post.

You are welcome to enter future competitions, provided you don't leave 'everything to the last minute'. Forum participation outside of the competitions is a must to take part in our comps.

A reminder that the comps at Casinomeister are put on for the enjoyment of the membership. There is a 'spirit of competition' that we uphold here at Casinomeister and that a few of the other members have politely tried to point out.

Congratulations to the winners and it is great to see that all of the winners kept within the spirit of the rules. This was yet another very enjoyable comp that kept me engaged (part time) for a month :)
Cheers CM crew :)

Congrats to all the winners, myself included, and good luck to everyone else taking part, in the next one!*
I certainly had fun: gambling wise nothing changed from my usual proceedings, but the fact that i got some good ones to post, for a little extra reward, is pretty damn cool!

Thanks for the lovely comp once again @conker , @dunover and Team CM!

*I'm throwing my prize straight into the remarkable community, let me see if i can get conker to send it straight to the 'notary' @Jono777 :D

I'll keep you guys posted :)

Really nice contest and I think the format was close to perfect! Delighted to see that in the new one starting today, ante bets are still allowed but with the more fair change that the score will now be calculated based on that.

It's a pleasure to take part in such friendly and sportsmanlike events like we have here on CM and I was real lucky to win it this time with a once in a lifetime (hope not!) hit like that one I got shortly before the contest ended. I hope someone else get one of those in the next contest, because the feeling of watching it count up the win and the incertainty of where it would actually end was priceless. I thought it would stop at maybe 4,000x but then it just exploded on!

Thanks to everyone involved for adding further entertainment value to playing the slots and congrats to all winners!

Is there a video of the win because I would enjoy seeing it play out?

There's nothing in the rules of the competition about "win hoarding," or posting close to the cutoff time, and if there was I wouldn't have made a submission. I also don't agree with this rule, in fact I think it's stupid, but more importantly, the point of the rule is to prevent people from intentionally hoarding wins and I think you can tell from the dates on my screenshots that's not what I was doing.

So really it seems like the only actual rule I didn't follow was a formatting one, for which I get disqualified.

Yeah, no, I can totally see how this officiousness makes it more fun for all involved. Can't wait to join the next one.

A rule has been added to February's comp regarding hoarding.

In January's it was decided, as per the rules, not to be in the spirit of the comp. As I explained in a previous post you were referred to, it's fair to allow entrants the maximum amount of time to aim at any specific place on the leaderboard. As opposed to having hidden targets which hoarding creates.

These measures are taken to protect the integrity of the comps and give all an equal chance, whether you consider them 'stupid' or not. The rules are quite simple, we seldom get issues and when we do we try and resolve them fairly. The formatting rule is there for a reason.

Feel free not to join this one. Less competition for the rest of the entrants. The fact is, leaderboard-type comps are popular and one reason for that is them being run fairly and us acting upon potential issues brought to our attention by members.

The rule my January submission was invalidated by was instated in February. Yes, I can see how important integrity is here.

But I suppose aside from that I did forget to dot an I, so fuck me and my submission. We can't very well have people winning prizes after not formatting their posts properly, that would be so cruely unfair to the other participants.

All the fun of dealing with casino bullshit without any of the games or prizes. This contest exudes fair play and casual fun, how could I not sign up for another?

These CM comps are a new aspect to the sites presentation and offers and guardrails will need to be presented as the comps progress and new innovations are introduced. We all may ask questions and the answers present the rules which we are all happy to abide by.
Those rules you are complaining about are rules you could have avoided facing had you posted your wins at a reasonable time rather than sit on them until the final hour/s of the comp. Furthermore those rule amendments where posted before you presented your screen shots.
I for one fully support the decisions made by the CM team so why not simply post your wins in a timely fashion and get over your failed attempt to highjack the last comp?

When you say the rules were ammended are you talking about Dunover's post on page 16? Because I'm not seeing in that post where the rule was actually changed and it certainly wasn't posted in the rules section, which is where any reasonable person would expect to find the full list of rules. Ammending competition rules without explicitly stating what the changes are and without publishing the changes in the list of rules is nonsense.

"Therefore screenie hoarding is NOT in the spirit of the comp. Any entrant caught doing this should have their entry disqulaified IMO and if I had a choice they would be disqualified from the month's comp full stop."

How anyone would argue that that comment constitutes an actual rule change is beyond me. There's nothing official or definitive about that statement at all.

The formatting issue certainly could've been rectified, but if it's as simple as having posted in time for someone to let me know the formatting wasn't correct, so that I could fix it, then disqualifying me entirely for the same thing is ridiculous.

Dunover himself stated, "the formatting rule is there for a reason." Is that reason related to integrity? No. So why would you disqualify someone for that? It's petty and officious behaviour.

I'm glad you support this but I obviously don't, hence no interest in participating again.

I am not wanting to pick apart the above post, but fair to say that maybe you relax a little and enjoy the next months comp/s?
There is often more than one comp each month and we old timers would rather encourage them happening because so many comps from providers have been and gone because of getting bashed for one reason or the other.
I love seeing forum participation by all providers. If you hung around long enough mayve you would think the same way as me too.
Let it go bud

Sorry but.......

Had you not posted all your incorrectly formatted and incorrectly screenshotted submissions at last minuite maybe just maybe someone would have told you in time to correct them.

Every single other submission by everyone else managed to do 1 per post as instructed in the rules so why should you have been the exception?

Throwing your toys out the pram after the event and having a go at the mods is not going to help your case.

Its totally your choice to not participate in the next one but that does seem a little childish and a over reaction to something that was essentially your doing.

Like all casino bonuses read and follow the rules and your good to go, we're a pretty good fantastic community here.

Look, quit the self-indulgent whining and entitlement. Getting boring now. Everyone else enjoys the comps, the prize money is provided as a favour to the membership, not a right.

What part of 'The moderators at Casinomeister retain the right to withdraw entries for anyone; that we deemed to have cheated, has broken forum rules, or is not taking part in ‘the spirit’ of the competition.' do you not grasp?

We added the rule to February's comp concerning hoarding, which was within 24 hours or so of the becoming aware of the issue.

Sorry we didn't relax the rules to accomodate your wishes to the possible detriment of someone else.

You already made it clear you are not willing to enter the February comp, so why repeat yourself again? Just leave those who are entering to enjoy it rather than flaming and trolling in the thread.

You can have a timeout until Wednesday to cool off and stop winding people up. Thanks.

Resume this nonsense Wednesday, it'll be permanent.
