Due to the coronavirus I spend a lot of time and dough on online casinos. A casino where I had deposited more than 30k told me they closed my so-called second account as they did not allow multiple accounts.

It started off like this. 4 days ago I tried to log into my account but to no avail several times as I could not pass 'I am not a robot' validation. This never happened to me in the past. Eager to play, I noticed another link where I could login via facebook or google. Facebook failed but google succeeded and I started playing immediately making 2 deposits in total. All that time I thought I was playing with my existing account as there was no request for me to register any personal details. I lost my first deposit and won some money on my second when I suddenly noticed on playing SWEET ALCHEMY that my earlier accrued treasure chest money had disappeared. I asked live chat why and he said I was using a new account and told me I can only choose to use this account but not both. Afterwards he promised to ask the security team to look into this. As I got no reply after 2 days I wrote to them and found that the second account(the one with money in it) was locked for contravening their term of opening multiple accounts. I never registered for a second account and took no bonuses but my plea fell on deaf ears and they said my money will be confiscated whether I liked it or not. I had written to them telling them to debate this at casinomeister but they havent responded yet. If they dont do so by Monday I shall name them here. Thoughts anyone?

I would name them anyway, however

Were you offered a welcome bonus? If so that should have been a red flag to you.
The login with google, creating a new account seems strange, I didn't think the information they get from google / facebook was enough to create an account.
Did you not have to put all new payment details in?

No, I wasnt offered any bonuses and went straight away upon login to make a deposit. As for payment I paid by bitcoin as I regularly do.

Nevertheless, a promise is a promise and I give them 2 days to respond before naming them here. Ideally, they can come here and explain their stance.

I thought about that but the amount is paltry ie only 100 or so bucks and I dont want others to follow my footsteps. If they are right as they claim to be then players need to be aware.
I'd still pm. Besides the recourse youre supposed to take (re site rules) at least youve the clarity going forward to inform members fully and completely and the pm to back it up

Never never never create multiple accounts. Do you want your money to be confiscated or what?

Guess OP not playing under MGA/UKGC licenses but outside of Europe (Curacao?)? Haven't seen many using Facebook or Google logins to create account, but if you have enough details there, probably ok at least outside of Europe licenses, it doesn't make much difference if you write your details yourself or tell to use information fom another service.

Would anyway take it as new registration when using something else than your normal credentials to login. Confiscating part hopefully casino is taking second look if there haven't been any bonus abuse or some other wrongdoing, if only thing what happened is that they have two accounts in their system for one person, it could be easily corrected, to keep one of them in use and OP knows for future not login with anything but own credentials.

Would maybe say that if they were able to spot duplicate account quite easily, were there not then enough matching details to block it upon registration (assume quite many details would match if OP decided to use this way to be recognized, so would this way of registration let people to pass it with quite identical details when normally already same email or phone number would stop you?), don't know what information casino in question used from another service, but if they are same, would at least make it very clear that using Google/Facebook, will create you new account (maybe if created with this method, then next time login would workout with same method without creating duplicate) and not logging in existing one.

From OP post, it don't really sounds very robust registration system.

Account deserved to be locked, just for playing SWEET ALCHEMY alone.

I did not create multiple accounts. I logged in thru google and thought it was my old account until I noticed something peculiar. I did not enter my personal details or anything of the sort to create a new account nor did I claim any bonuses. I immediately went to live chat and support asked which account I would like to close. The live chat alone can show I didnt know this was a new account. Clear?
