hi guys
sorry for the new thread but I want to see if andy can get something done about this 60 min gaming message you get at mr green..
Andy....

when you go the the limits page, I notice you have an option also about this 60 min message lark. but you can only decrease it, not increase it. this message is the timer one that I have pasted, BUT can you see if you can get rid of that have you enjoyed your gaming message please...

Time limit

Close

Because of the regulation of online gaming we are forced to show you a message when you have played for one hour. The message displays the time you have been playing and the amount you have won or lost since the game session started. If you want to you can adjust this time so that the message shows up more frequently. If you want to do this you enter the number of minutes you want before you get to see this message. Please note that this message is only shown for some of our games - the ones from Net Entertainment and Microgaming.

Your current limit is: 60 minutes....

is there anyway you can get this 60 mins changed to NEVER? this message is not good at all, I was playing video poker at £50 a strip 5 hands, I won £150, I wanted to gamble it, the message came on, I had to load the game up, and when I did it was reset to smaller bet! never got a chance to gamble through this message.this happened to me at least 3 times in the hours I was playing....

so must of been 3 hours of v/p. the stupid thing is I had no idea if I received the £150 winnings when this message came on, as I did not quickly look at my balance..

The problem with this at Mr Green is it actually breaks the game the same as if you closed your web browser or yanked your network cable, so it's like a 'hard disconnect' from the game. Yes the game resumes from where it left off after a reload but your autoplay settings are gone and it resets your stake as well.

If it could be integrated 'into' the game (like it was at Redbet) it'd still be annoying but not actually game-breaking.

Can it be prevented by logging out every 50-55 min for few seconds, or is it like similar to the generic NetEnt version of that message, which comes even with short log outs, if I remember correctly, but the generic NetEnt version doesn't reset the game.

chopley and andy

I pasted the 60 min message. I didn't mean too, I mean the message that says are you having fun! it DIDNT resume from the same bet on v/p. when I reloaded the game up, it was normal setting, and NOT last bet or gamble setting. so I lost the right to gamble!

this cost me dear as I was over £3k down at the time. and I didn't get the chance to gamble my £150 win! incidentally next few hands I won the gamble x4! so if I had got to gamble my £150, o could of had £2.4k off it! I was fuming.

of course I won the gamble x4 when I dropped my bet down..i got a nice bonus off andy and the guys and managed to hit 5 scatters on doa. withdrew just under £1.6k, so not too bad a red mist. but please please andy get this are you having fun message turned off!

sorry mate its not the 60 min message that is disturbing me. its the ARE YOU HAVING FUN MESSAGE. as said above this message cost me dear.

That was one of the reasons I gave up playing at Mr Green, after it happened to me a while ago. I hadn't realised that the stakes had been reset to default, so was playing at 5 times the stake i had been playing at. Only realised when i noticed my balance had dropped lower than i was expecting it to be. pity i never got any decent wins at the higher stake :(

Oh comeon... It didnt "cost you dear".

Just because you won the gamble on the next few hands after closing off the message and the game reloading, it doesn't mean specifically that if the message hadn't popped up and you had been able to gamble that hand, that you would of won x4 and won 2.4k.

Bottom line is you didn't get to do that gamble so the outcome remains unknown. While I understand it's an annoyance of reloading the game because of that message, you could of quite easily lost the gamble.

yes quite correct! BUT that's the problem, I would now never know if I would of won most of my money back. I didn't get the opportunity to gamble! and I had been gambling every win, not just this one!

This every hour BS is like you walk to your dealer and he tells you to come back in 2 minutes because drugs can kill you. And 2 minutes later he sells the drugs to you.

tbh I really don't mind the 60 mins message. its quite helpful too. I believe chopley on the other thread posted a screenie of the ARE YOU HAVING FUN MESSAGE that I have BIG problems with..i bet big, but I wont be back until this message has gone altogether. just spoils my gameplay!

That`s the message (Are you having fun) and I have it every 60 minutes. And they tell me every 60 minutes how much I win or lose.
Not the best idea in my opinion. And after a message I have to change my gameplay, because they setting back my attitude (I hope this is the right word) and if I don`t see that they changed it I play for 2.50 per spin instead of 0.50. Not the best deal for me. But I hope there will be a change because the casino is good and now Andy is there ;)

Thanks for the info everyone.

As I'm sure you're aware the 60 minute reminder, every 60 minutes is a legal requirement.

We are looking at ways to make it less intrusive though, and to prevent it from altering game settings.

Cheers
Andy

Its simply a case of NOT reloading the game and having it as a notification ONLY like any other NetEnt Casino.

I can see that you somehow had to integrate it across multi platforms and maybe this is where the problem arose.

For starters many play just NetEnt here, so maybe remove the setting from NeEnt and use the default setting whilst looking at a solution for the others?

It's a silly law that you are required to have this message. I think having deposit limits in place is enough and all this does is frustrate players.

In most cases I'm just happy my deposit lasted an hour anyway so I consider it an achievement message ;)

Being forced to click on a button which says "I'm having fun" is the bit that sticks in my throat. If I'm £300 down and on tilt I'm not having fun, but I do want to continue gambling. A pop-up box won't deter me from playing, but having to agree that "I'm having fun" when I'm actually in a hole might just piss me off enough to make me gamble more recklessly!

Obviously re-setting the bet to a higher amount is the real issue. Cynical people might wonder if this was on purpose - it certainly benefits the casino.

the same thing happens at intercasino but the dialog opens on top of the current game and a simple no gets you back with the same bet settings....also you don't need to wait for the game to reload.....
