Put your thinking caps on. Here is a riddle

Lets say you have bags of real gold coins and one of them is fake and the fake one weighs more than the real bags.

You can pick as many bags of real gold as you want and the fake gold can weigh whatever you want it to as long as it doesnt weigh the same as the real gold. You number your bags of gold

Here is what your riddle is: which bag of gold is fake?

Here is the only thing you have: One penny scale and only one shot a weighing along with your bags or real gold and one bag of fake.

Your answer here must be: how many bags of gold, how much they weigh along with how much your fake bag weighs and how you figure out which one is fake

Bags of gold = -------------------------10
Amount of gold per bag = -------------10 bars of gold
Amount each bar weighs =-------------10 grams
Amount each fake bar weighs = --------9 grams

To figure out which one is fake, take 1 bar from the first bag, 2 bars from the second bag, etc. until you have sets of 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 bars. This would add up to 550 grams, if all the bars were pure gold

Weigh the bars you have taken from the bags on the scale. If you have 549 grams its the first bag, 548 its the second, etc. due to weights of the individual bars taken from the false bag being different from the weights of the normal bars.
