ONLINE GAMBLING CREATES ANOTHER INSTANT MILLIONAIRE

Cryptologic's Millionaire's Club progressive hits again

Cryptologic-powered Littlewoods Casino.com was the venue for the creation of the latest instant online gambling millionaire this week when an as yet unidentified player hit a $1.3 million progressive jackpot on the "Millionaire's Club" slot in the early hours of the morning.

Brian Hadfield, CryptoLogics President and CEO claims that Millionaire's Club has made more instant millionaires in the last year than any other online casino game in history.

"As we welcome another instant millionaire to the club, we also celebrate a game thats earned global popularity one that keeps players coming back again and again," he said.

The game has paid out more than $15 million in jackpot wins in the past year alone, with four players winning more than $1 million. CryptoLogic also lays claim to the largest jackpot win in the history of online gaming - more than $8 million to a player from InterCasino.com.

Two weeks after that monster win, a UK online player at LittlewoodsCasino.com won more than $4 million, the second highest jackpot in online history. The last big win was in December 2007, when a player won $2.2 million at WilliamHillCasino.com.

First it holds off for a record 5M+ win, and now it repeatedly hits for less than half that amount. Bit odd eh;)

Nah... That's just the way slots work mate! "Megabucks" has no competition as such, but that hits at values all over the show! It just depends when that 1 in 57 squillion chance decides to shine on some fortunate spinner!

Just out of curiousity, how long will it take for the winners to be paid? Do they get paid all at once or XXdollars per week forever?

I wondered how large that Intercasino Jackpot was when it hit

I wondered how big that Intercasino jackpot got, that was my favorite casino back in the day when they allowed Americans to play. I contributed to that jackpot and always wondered how large it got before it hit. Now I know.
Thanks for the info. Always something interesting to read on these boards.

Does anybody know the winner's phone number??? Im a very very very nice cover girl, can cook, make jokes, love cleaning, hate shopping and dont mind if my boyfriend is unfaithful

The ultimate would be if Rival had Millionaires Club and NashVegas hit the jackpot.
You're tempting moi to hijack this thread  but I will say I would feel guilty messing with their float:nod::nod: (not that Rival's would let me or anybody else, no????):drink::rolleyes:

Having worked with crypto - the skin should pay immediately the entire amount, after security checks et al.

There's been another big win this week, too - half a mill on Gold Rally.

Casino Tropez reports Yves G. of France won Euro 587 314 on the 8-line progressive slot machine, Gold Rally on a Euro 16 wager - within 30 minutes of logging on.

Cryptologic are a publicly listed company, so I'll find it interesting to see how these jackpot wins affect their share price, if at all - wonder if the shares will respond well because of the publicity orbadly due to lost money?

It's a progressive, so the money is not from the casino's bottom line, but from incremental contributions from players who have chased the jackpot. It would be different if some whale had taken millions from the Blackjack tables, as this would severely impact on profits for the year.
A single big win, however made, should not reflect badly on the share price of a WELL RUN casino business, as those that study this sector know full well that cashflows and year on year profits/losses can vary considerably more than with other types of business, hence they look at longer term performance. A drop in TURNOVER is what will worry city analysts when it comes to casinos, as this means a fall in the amount wagered. This happened when UIGEA was passed. Shares fell in online gambling companies even before many decided whether to pull out of the US, this fall was based on the fact that a large percentage of the online players would either quit, or would be ditched by the companies. As it turns out, public listed companies had to pull out of the US market, and some even pulled out of Canada.
Crypto casinos do not serve the US, and are expanding in the EU, where the market is expanding, thus the good publicity surrounding these big progressive payouts are more likely to improve the prospects for the share prices, and this makes it highly unlikely they will mess around about paying it out.
