i see them moving at Go Wild, Red Flush, All Slots and 32 Red, those are the only MG's i play at, and i havent noticed anything about them not woking for a while, although i checked right after that was posted.
anyway, since reading this thread, and actually going for the highhest temps,
ive only lost
where as i randomly picked a slot i liked, i had the normal returns as far as i could tell..
maybe the meters are like rival bonuses to dutch players:
non-functional
Oh no no, Incrediblestuff, never play on the highest temp! First you need to study just how often the meters are actually being updated. If a casino is slow on the update and the meter is at it's highest, then in reality it is already in the frozen tundra, most likely.
Especially if you are playing slots like, Burning Desire, Alaskan Fishing, Silver Fang, Pure Platinum and such, these are slots that fluctuate really fast and
if the temp meter is moving properly then when it hits its highest that only indicates that someone has just had a darned good run and the meter is already dropped, even if it doesn't indicate it yet.
And yes, you can have some good hits when the temp meter is low. For instance if I play Jungle 7's when it is at 80.0 and I hit a couple good wins, just as an example, then later I check the meter and it has moved to 80.1. This only indicates that a player had a couple good hits. The more the meters rises, indicates that more often and usually better wins are hitting more frequently.
Again, I think
it is not a jackpot meter,
it is a player return meter. The more the return, the higher the temp.
You have to study the casinos meter and it's movement updating frequently to get the feel of what it is actually indicating to you the player. Slow updates, go for mid range or just above on the meter, fast updates, you've got to be on top of it as it can change faster than you can log into a game.
By a casino not updating in real time, it is a way of keeping people guessing as to what is the purpose of the meters and thinking they don't work.
And if MG is reading this thread, the meters are nothing more than something to place on the lobby screen, has nothing to do with anything viable.
