Also, it's pretty dumb of me but only recently I realized that my southern hemisphere friends celebrate christmas in the middle of summer. That's almost as weird as driving on the right side of the car

well, you needn't celebrate it, but you could always go out and volunteer and make someone else holiday a little happier we dont any religion in ours, we just like the loot grab and with family so far, it's a good time to gather

In a nutshell, I don't believe in religious figures and felt like a hypocrite to celebrate something that doesn't exist. There are other reasons of course but I don't want to elaborate too much, as people are easily offended by this subject and it would possibly hijack the thread.
