... Thanks to Casinomeister :D

"Weve been watching the Mega Moolah Jackpot, and it feels as though its never going to break the 5 million mark. We have decided, after winning Best Casino for 5 times in a row that 5 is our new favourite number (along with 32 that is!) and decided to top the jackpot up"

Nice little promo... The extra 60k will come in handy when I hit the big one -- cheers!

Oh, I dunno... The 120 bottles of nice vintage would go down well at the celebration!

Hehe.

Don't forget to enter EUROMILLIONS tonight - 95m up for grabs but with odds of 76,275,360 to 1 we may have a better chance of winning the Mega Moolah!

What are the odds to hit the jackpot on this slot?

Hmmm... not sure. Maybe some helpful casino op might post up here? Surely that sort of info will be in the public domain. I'm going to take a wild guess at somewhere in the 5-6 million range.

Google was no help, but a search for "Mega Moolah odds" did scarily bring up this thread as the second result!! How quick/scary is that?! They're watching us!!!! Woooooooooo..... :D

Hi Guys

Just had a quick google and found this (I think the site belongs to KasinoKing):

The 'Jackpot Wheel' feature is on Mega Moolah is triggered completely at random - no matching symbols on the reels are required. The wheel spins & randomly stops on one of the four possible 'Jackpots'; from Mini to Mega = litterally Millions!

We are unable to give the odds of hitting the jackpot feature.

Not sure if this is correct, but sounds feasible.

Has anyone heard of this site before?

Nope, but the site seems to have the reels correct for the MG slots.

Interestingly it is exactly the same slots that were cracked here on casinomeister
in the probabilities thread and common for all these slots are that can be played in flash-mode(thunderstruck was done in hand though). There are no new slots cracked that was not cracked here on casinomeister. And cracking the reels was easy in flash mode. But they have not cracked the Hitman reels, though it can be played in flash and interestingly this is one of the only Kimms did not crack simple because it would be no use in terms of analyzing. (because of the random cash feature).

The site also correct explains how video-slots works with random reels. So far so good.
But then you open the 'strategy section'...

Here they claim they have been beating the slots for years without bonuses! So basically it comes down to being a scummy affiliate site luring slot players to lose money, so they can get their affiliate share.

Any other explanation, anyone?

I know you and others did some hard work on cracking the reels last year and I thought this site may have copied some work from Casinomeister as well. :)

They also have links to CM, OCR, WOL, GAMBLING and KASINOKING down the bottom of their page.

Is it one of your mates KK? :p

Quite a nice little site though, especially the slot reel graphics.

I don't think so:p

WITH Bonuses maybe, especially the higher percentage ones. I do not think that RANDOM slots at 95% can be beaten LONG TERM without the aid of bonuses, and MORE IMPORTANTLY, no carry over of WR when you bust out.

Good circumstancial evidence that they have simply used the reel-cracks from here and presented them. Did they give credit for those members that did the work?

Yeah, I knew it was some kind of 'insider job'.

I do not mind they are using our results if it was non-profit of course. Also the site is very nicely made and does explain exactly how video slot works, so for information purposes I like it. Also it shows payout% for many slots including Rival slots.

But of course I am not happy they these scientific facts are then somehow mixed with the 'slot strategy'-page. In fact they are in complete contradiction with each other.

KK is a good guess yes, since he is an affiliate and also claim to can beat the slot odds without bonuses year after year.

Mega Moolah will hit when the total exceeds the previous Cryptologic Internet record progressive paid the first time Millionaire's Club hit after the introduction of the 5 reel version.
After this, Mega Moolah will hit continualy at lower values, and will not again hold out for 5Million. This is exactly the pattern that has happened since Millionaire's Club first hit.
I think it was some 5.8 Million, so we have a while to wait with Mega Moolah;)

In order to counter any suspicion, they may again let it hit in South African Rand, as they did before, prior to a big hit in Dollars, or even UK Pounds:D

MG must realise that if their slot follows the same path as Millionaire's Club (holds off for first big monster record breaking hit, then hits regularly once record is broken), the rumour mill will start working overtime:)

2009 will see another casino launch an even bigger progressive that will build to an even greater first hit, give their software the world record, and then hit more regularly:rolleyes:

An acknowledgment of the source would be nice. If it is indeed KK's site, I am sure he did not do the calculations himself. :)

One question I have: Does anybody know if you have the same chances of winning the Jackpot if you are betting $1.25 as you do if you are maxing at $6.25? I know with Crypto's I think they bigger jackpots are weighted to the higher better.

Don't quote me on this, but I think that you have more chance of actually hitting the wheel bonus the higher the bet -- but your chances of hitting the jackpot are the same once you actually get there.

Similar to the Crypto's like you say... Maybe a 1.25 spin gives you a 1/100 chance of initiating the wheel, whereas a 2.50 spin gives you 1/50 etc etc...

Or something.

Yes I remember reading somewhere from the horse's mouth (it might even be in the help file for the game) that the bigger you bet, the better your chances of winning the jackpot.

As far as Slotbeaters.com, I do believe that is KK's site. I thought the name sounded familiar. If not, it's someone who has been patrolling this forum because the Harveys data looks awfully similar to the analysis I put together some time ago (and promulgated on this forum).

I really hope that it's KK's site.

KK, if you're reading this and it is your site, you need to take one or the other down, or at least change the wording around. Duplicate content will kill you when it comes to SEO.

edit: no worries, both sites belong to KK (check his profile)
