I hope all casinomeister members are reading this I have a scandalous announcement to make... the Mega moolah jackpot was won 3 days ago. How do I know this? Well I signed up to a very useful service about 4 years ago. Called jackpotgraphs.com this gives me fully up to date information on any major jackpots in online casinos straight to my email see this screenshot I took as proof. Even reputable casinos are lying to us all about the "growing" jackpot. Check this out though in black and white. It was won before it reached 12million!! I'm shocked and appalled by this. Your welcome ladies and gentleman....

Ah, i think i figured it out.
3 days ago it was hit at goldfishka casino(part of fortune lounge). It paid 11kk + in russian roubles, which is about 161k$. Amount was deducted from jackpot(which is originally in pounds). So it is still huge one. This is why you got this email i believe.

No mistake either micro gaming are lying or the casinos are or both are. I've had my suspicions about this for ages. This site is completely accurate I only get mega moolah main jp emails may be maximum twice a year. It's pretty clever to make players think it's still up for grabs.....

Thanks for the heads up but what site or sites have this particular game? Since it is showing a money amount in pounds i have to figure it may be a site that we US bound players are unable to use. But it is always good too know what they are up too. I have had the same thing happen many years ago at a microgaming site that is no longer in the biz. Hasnt anyone ever noticed that different casinos have different jackpot amounts even thou its the same currency?? Lets just say it what he says is true, we have a few guns down here, class action all around. Guns =lawyers/

Well 2 smaller jackpots are different on every casino since thats their own jackpot pool but large one is shared with all casinos what has that game.

As homerbert and others have pointed out, Microgaming progressive jackpots pay out coins in the currency you play in.

It is an old-fashioned and confusing system.

If I would win the 11 million+ coin jackpot in Norwegian Kroner, only about €1 million would be actually deducted from the progressive pool (€1 = 10 kroner very roughly).

At the same time, for example a 6 kroner bet (€0.6) gives me the same chance at winning the jackpot as a player who bet €6.

NetEnt has a much better system where all players win the same jackpot amount regardless of currency.

I don't think its better at all if the players currency is worth 100 times less and they are still able to win the main progressive on minimum bet with the same % chance as other players.

I don't think there's actually a fair way to do it unless you make them all players use the same currency.

Both systems (MG and NetEnt) are fair, but NetEnt's progressive system is so much better.

When playing for example Mega Fortune in Norwegian Kroner the minimum bet for all lines is 2.50 kroner (€0.25).

If you play in EUR the minimum bet for all lines is €0.25.

This means you also win the same jackpot amount regardless of currency.

For Microgaming, if your currency is worth 100 times less than for example EUR, then you also would win 100 times less than if the jackpot would be hit by a player playing in EUR.

When I play progressive jackpots I don't care about how big my procentige is to win. I just want to have a chance to win BIG and that can't happen on Mega Moolah for me who is playing in SEK

It's not as bad for me in CAD at some currencies. $11 Mil CAD would change my life. While no jackpots, I have had pretty good play over past few weeks on games that are some of my favourites anyway.

I've video'd every bonus round on my phone, not because I don't trust the casino, but because I know all of you would love to see it!

It would only take about half the jackpot amount away, so please root for me to hit it, (or at least a fellow Canuck, or even Aussie, since their currency is low too)

RNG is the same every spin. If you believe it is random. A few years back, it got large, and then was hit at barely over a Million.

I do however play more when the Major is high. Hasn't happened yet, but I remember a forum member played Mega Moolah a lot, hit three majors over the years. Seems like a more achievable goal.

I usually roll low enough a $100 minor is a bankroll boost.

according to the other trackers - €119,303.91 (or equivalent) was paid out on the 7/9
