I've been playing MM for hours and only once was hit the fortune wheel bonus round. How often do you think it hits? Can it hit even if I played only 1 cent and 1 line bet? Btw - I won the Jackpot that time - more than 10 euros! Do you remember how many minor/major segments there are on the wheel?

If I understand correctly, Mega Fortune can be triggered or won on any bet, Mega Moolah's chances are upped by higher bets.

If I play MAX BET at 1.25 per spin - I would hit the mini/minor progressive once an hour
If I play MAX BET at 6.25 per spin - I would hit the mini/minor progressive around 7 times per hour

Playing max bet helps, but have seen several people win on forums the major (£10,000-£40,000) on just a couple of coins. If the Daily Mail is to be believed, a guy from the UK won £4.7m on a £0.30 (min bet) on Batman last year!

I know you can't believe everything you read in the Mail, but it was won at Butler's Bingo and our own IanO got to hand over the big check.

I once triggered the MegaMoolah jackpot wheel on 11 cents (my last 11 cents) and got the minor (around $100).

The number of wheel segments is not an accurate depiction of your chance of hitting the major or mega though, or even your chance of hitting the minor.

Once I hit the jackpot with a 5 cent bet! Won 10 euro. But that was years ago.

Last night I tried to "force" the jackpot. I played until I get it.
Started at 9 cent, and I doubled every 200 spins. After many hours and many spins with the max bet of 18 euro, I won the small jackpot of 10 euro!!!

and the £10 one about 5-6 times mainly on batman/LOTR once on Isis.
I see it once every 3/4 months, once in about 10,000+ spins id say.

never seen the wheel on 5 reel drive or mega moolah though. and never on 1 coin one line (Tried a few thousand spins once when grinding 32red slots meister)

Don't you feel like that's sometimes quite deceiving for players? I think I had a Bonus Round on Microgaming Progressive Jackpot type of games like 6 times. 3 Times on a Mega Moolah, 2 times on the Dark Knight and once on another slot which I forgot.

Of course I never won more than the smallest jackpot of 10 euros each time. I must add that the Dark Knight Jackpot bonus round makes it look the most spectacular slowing down near the Millions jackpot acting like it will stop lol. But obviously that wheel ain't anywhere near random, otherwise the jackpot should be won on a daily basis. Since there are like 20 sections.

If they made the wheel a true reflection of your odds, it would have to have several million segments... that might make them kinda hard to see!

Mega Fortune: Bet size is irrelevant to the odds of triggering the jackpot wheel. Once triggered, the higher the bet, the greater the chance to win the jackpot (down to 0% on free spins).

Personally, I prefer the Mega Moolah concept but it's only possible because it's triggered "randomly" (no symbols on the reels needed). On Mega fortune, since you need 3 bonus symbols on the same line to trigger the bonus, it would be impossible adjust the bonus triggering frequency according to your bet size.
