Hiya,

I just want some opinions about a case i have. I made a deposit at a casino without a bonus. Got my balance up to €200. I then pressed the max bet..and made a bet of €40 :eek2: i was lucky and got free spins. I won more then €6000. Ofcourse i made the withdrawal right away lol.

I was just wondering, is there anyway the casino can void my wins? I didnt use any bonus or whatsoever. Or can they use the excuse of irregular play?

Officialy is no reason to void winings so if you play in good quality casino then they pay you winings . But if you play in some poor quality casino - then they often start mess when player make big withdrawal.

Poor quality brands in this case just tell you example - " Our security team detected this player is linked to other accont have contected with other player and we decided close you accont and send you deposit back - our decision is final .

First off, I don't think they'd have a case given that it was your own money, unless casinos now tell us how we are allowed to bet. Irregular play would indicate changing betting patterns in extreme ways or using bonuses to bet big from the outset.

If the casino is reputable then I don't see why the shouldn't pay you as you did nothing untoward.

Secondly, "you jammy git" :)

What were you playing?

With no bonus in play you are free to play any bet size you are comfortable with. What game were you playing?

Well done on the win and the withdrawal

An accredited Casino here certainly wouldn't make up excuses to not pay you..
Even non-accredited Casino's that have any integrity, would not think about not honoring your win.

You won fair and square, and this is exactly a great example of 'the other side', why they (the Casino's) should make a point of it, to have all their software providers remove the max bet miles away button from the spin button:)

Normally these things go rather wrong for the player: instead of you, and your lucky hit example, they lose a big portion of their roll, at least much bigger then intended...Was that player without Bonus, then still he/she would have to contact support to apply for lenience, and the honest mistake scenario, and will be at the mercy of the Casino. Was the player with Bonus, then the rules are even stricter usually, and a lot of the dodgy places will enforce some bs rule about irregular play, max bet breach, percentages of roll vs bet-size and whatnot.

If operators stand strong, and 'force' their providers to fix it, so that this is never possible per mistake (which is doable in several ways) then we will see a lot less posts with question-marks in them, and a lot less complaints! Of course that then will lead to significantly less disgruntled players:)

Win win if you ask me, yet still it has not been done, save for a few operators.

I honestly would have expected these things to be the first points on any agenda - of governing bodies like the UKGC etc. - that would be undertaken in light of the 'Responsible Gaming' debate

100% safe with your w/d. I've done it deliberately when in a rush, a tenner left and bet it all on one spin. Well done and enjoy the winnings you sp*wny tw*t. :D:D

Thanks for the replies.

It's on a casino i play fairly often, it's not accredited however. I have been paid quite a few times without hassle..it's just that it ussualy took 2 days lol. I hope they honour this win

Here's the screenshot i took on mobile:

I am afraid there are lots of ways your winnings could be void. That is generally speaking. If you have read all the terms, provided all the proper docs, done your homework about the casino you are playing, then you probably have nothing to worry about. :)

It was on StarGames.

I have been a member for a few years there. Never did any research back then (i know better now). Untill this win i began to look up reviews etc. Was suprised there are so many negative ones..

I know of other novomatic casinos such as Energy and Quasar. But i had reached my limits there lol.

God i hope they will pay again as they always do..

Reverse psychology doesn't work on rogues.

But public naming and shaming on a popular casino forum might, touch wood

OH MY GOD. I wake up in a cold sweat in the middle of the night after dreaming about making such a mistake. I clicked auto £2 spins by mistake instead of 40p at the weekend without realising for 10 spins. I hit nothing.
Congratulations on your good luck OP :)

I have a similar story to OP.

Back when I was 18 I opened an account at Totesport, deposited £20 & placed some football bets. I had around a £150 balance after the weekend & decided to play some slots, I opened up 'Monopoly' I'm not sure what addition it was then & accidentally max bet it first spin (£90.00!!) it rolled in the bonus & I moved round the board collecting silly amounts, I won £3800 in total, which looking back was only a x42 bet, how unlucky!

....I banked the money which took about a week to reach my account back then, it seemed like an age, money was gone very quickly spending like I had endless funds, trying to repeat the win, although not quite at £90 stakes!

Stargames owned by gamesys - same as Virgin Games. They might not be accredited (not sure) but they are an honest UK (London) based outfit. Providing no bonus active you will be paid no probs.

Stargames.... :eek2::eek2::eek2::eek2::eek2:

They normally do pay but very slow on many accasions and I don't think they have a great reputation here.
They missed the BBF once or twice I believe and are in the not recommended section if I am correctemundo.

Gratz on your great win btw! :)

Might show betsize doesn't matter after all...Laying down my tin foil hat! ^^

The amount of players that have been caught out by the max button over the years (seemingly always placed very close to the spin button), its nice to here a tale where someone actually benefited from pressing it.

Equivalent of bank error in your favour or relative you never heard of passed and left you a few thousand.

Like others on this thread I have my fingers crossed that you receive every penny of this withdrawal. Please keep us up to date with your progress.

So long as you were not on a bonus you will get paid . I never had an issue ever with this casino or Virgin who are game sys

very stand up operation and you get the feeling they have a massive player data base so this payout while massive for the player - for them
is small change. Star always fast with my past withdraws. Shame they not accredited here as would be a perfect addition.

I don't think Stargames is from Virgin. I think you meat StarSpins, which is from Virgin ;)

StarGames also has a massive player base i think. A lot of German players play there as i recall. :D
