A Pretoria man who was gambling online in the early hours of this morning has become South Africa's first online 'slots' millionaire.

The man, named only as Glen G, won R1,102,148.75 while playing Major Millions progressive slots at Piggs Peak Internet Casino (www.piggspeak.co.sz).

This is the second time a South African has won Major Millions in one month. The last payout of R503,283.50 was on June 3.

Major Millions is available in two versions -- a 5-Reel Video Slot with a total of 15 paylines including a 3x Wild Multiplier; and the 1 rand, 3-reel, 3-pay line slot.

Piggs Peak Casino has paid out R2,547,144 in progressive jackpots since January 1 this year.
