Magicwin2 self exclusion issues

Hello - I have been using Magicwin2 and have found they could be a dodgy site. I have asked them (at least 80 times) to close my account but they keep sending me bonuses to try and tempt me!!

I have self-excluded with gamban etc but can bypass this with a VPN.

Is there any links on here to do with magicwin2 and also at blocking VPNs.

Thanks

I don't know where you are based, but if you are in the UK then you are playing at a website that is not licensed with the UK Gambling Commission.

Assuming this is the site you are playing at: magicwin2.bet

Licensing details:
magicwin is owned and operated by MagicwinMLTD of Barge straat 1 and its fully owned subsidiary, Magicwin LTD Address Hollandia 24. magicwin operates under Master License 34389464EU granted by the Curaco. MagicwinMLTD holds a master License 34389464EU.

You can make a complaint to the UKGC, which will take a number of weeks to process. However, I have a feeling you are hopping on and off VPN's, which gives them lots of cover.

There is no URL blocker that I am aware of that will block just one or two URL's. You can use Betblocker, but this will get rid of pretty much every gambling URL that exists.

My one piece of advice for you is stop going to this website, you are in no way protected.

Hi,

Conker got in right before me!

If you are talking about magicwin2.bet: that Curaçao Master License they mention was terminated August 2024, so they are making a false license claim: meaning they don't have one. Which would explain the behaviour you describe.

Betblocker was created by the original owner of the Pogg, an industry colleague of ours for over a dozen years. You can download it to block most gambling sites from your computer or phone:

(And they have a directory of places offering help here:

Hi
Thanks for your replies.
Yes that is the site yes.
The issue I have is I know they are dodgy but having registered with gamcare etc I am using a VPN to gain access!
I know this is beyond normal behaviour other than when you have a gambling urge.
I have gamban etc on my phone but obviously VPN allows access.
I've tried emailing, sending messages on chat, threatened with advising curacao, etc but they still don't close the account! Its really the only one I can now access.
Is there anyone else I can email to put pressure on them

As previously mentioned, they don't actually have a Curacao license, so you can threaten this all you like, they wont give a monkeys about that. In fact that will probably please them, as they know you will be wasting valuable time and continually gambling with them.

If you want the UKGC to do anything then you have to follow their complaints procedure, but it takes time. Here is the link on

.

The problem appears to be you are hopping on and off VPN's, so any hope of you actually preventing yourself accessing this site will be null and void.

Betblocker is your only hope of completely removing this site and preventing yourself going back on it. Just be aware though, this will get rid of all gambling sites, not just this one. It's the nuclear option in essence.
