Lucky/unlucky times?

I work from home freelance so I can pretty well gamble whenever I want (if I have the money that is) between jobs, so I've played mornings, afternoons, evenings, middle of the night etc.

I've become aware that there are some casinos I just can't seem to get anywhere with at certain times of the day - like Royal Vegas for me is dead during the morning, but pretty good in the early evening - iNetBet can be good in the early afternoon or late night - the Jackpot Factory casinos are usually best in the middle of the night, etc.

I've also noticed that with some of the casinos I do better in the middle of the week and lousy on the weekend. Others are dead during the week and better on weekends. And most of the casinos I play at seem to pay out better nearer the middle of the month than at the beginning or the end.

Is it just coincidence? I'm curious if anyone else has noticed any trends like this with casinos they play a lot. Or am I bonkers?

i have found my biggest wins have been weekends and in the wee hours of the morning

and i dont think i have won on a tuesday since moses wore school shorts

I used to think that it made a difference, I used to do pretty wel on friday/saturday evening, but now I cant seem to hit anything anymore at these times, now its morning thats best.
And as I live in Holland, that would be evening in Canada, right?

I used to do well Fridays, I think because a lot of casinos don't process on weekends so they are hoping you reverse

I haven't noticed anything other than the Fridays, but I also could be bonkers.

I briefly touched on this very point in a reply to another thread.

I'm from the UK, I can't seem to win between 12pm and 12am.

But in the morning hours I seem to do pretty well, well a lot better than the
afternoon/evening times. This trend has happened with around 5 casinos.

I can't work it out. I won 70 odd pounds in the slots this morning, bet if it had
have been the evening I would have nad no chance.

Is it luck?

I'm glad you's folks have experienced something similar.

i used to think that gambling is all about luck
however i have been reading some info about the game theroy and stuff like that , i have come to understand that you can change the odds for you .

Yeah me too! Club World used to do that to me, give me good payout on Friday and by Monday it would be gone.

Think your just seeing patterns that dont exist. If the machines are truly random, then it does not matter what time or day you play.

You're probably right - it's not like I play every single day at a certain time at any one casino so I don't have the kind of data to say "Look, over the last year, I never win here when I play from 10 am til noon" or whatever.

Usually I play at a specific casino a couple of times during a certain time of day - and if I lose, the next time I go to make a deposit around the same time I think....hmmm...the last few times I played here during the (morning/afternoon/whatever) I got slaughtered so I'll deposit in a different casino this time. And get slaughtered there instead.

I am in Australia so I'm not sure what it is in your time but I find I always win between 1am & 3am. I have not won once when I have played during the day - not even had a good play strange but true. I am saving the dollars until my next day off & am going to have another all nighter...... I hope
