Loyal dog continues to attend mass at church where owner’s funeral was held

I really love dogs especially for their loyalty. It would seem that adopted stray dogs or those who are not particularly well-bred are even more loyal. I currently own a mutt and she was reportedly extremely upset whilst I was hospitalised 2 years ago. When I was a kid I had a dog who would wake up from his sleep and remained rooted at my feet till I completed my homework. On one occasion it was 4am.

Dogs understand practically every word we utter and they welcome me back home that will make my son blush. What bugs me is they have a shorter life span than humans and I hate to see them pass away.

Yes, it's so sad, even traumatic to lose one's best friend - I favour the not particularly well-bred, they grow much older than the pedigree ones.

I would have to disagree with
not particularly well-bred
or
I favour the not particularly well-bred
as we own greyhounds. :D The mothers and fathers are hand picked to mate. Our greyhounds are not less loyal because they are well-bred??? (oops sorry so big)
