I think I'm going to need help with this. I finally received a check from a withdrawal I made on April 19th from Lotus Asia Casino. The check was put into my bank on Friday (May 8th) and has now been shown to be fraudulent. I'm not sure if this is an issue with my bank or with Lotus Asia but I have the paperwork showing the check states it is non-negotiable. My bank account is now all messed up. It would be really nice if Lotus Asia would Western Union my withdrawal to me, so I can actually get my money. Any advice or help on this?

What has their response to you been about it? Are you not able to have them pay it back to your card or do a wire transfer? Checks should always be avoided.
Keep pressing them hard until it's resolved. They will probably want proof from your bank, so that will mean more delays while you wait for a copy of the check.

I have started having some doubts about this place lately. I've been really lucky here and have cashed out a lot more than I've deposited. I noticed the last few payments got slower and slower. Maybe they are flying too close to the sun

Just some general observations and thoughts: Giving the casino and processor the benefit of the doubt, it is not unusual for a processor to lose/close an account that checks are written on between the time the check was sent out to the player and deposited. (Happened to me, been there, done that... one took almost 2 months to bounce.)

Always leave enough money in your account to cover a casino check + bounce fees for at least 8 weeks after deposit. And just because a bank might cash your casino check it doesn't mean the check is 'good' and has fully cleared. Also, if checks are on an out of country bank, many USA banks (usually small ones and/or credit unions) simply cannot not handle them and will send them back to you if the teller didn't notice it was foreign check and took it for deposit anyway.

Be patient, be prepared to send casino a copy of the check marked as bad, and a copy of your statement showing the fees charged for the bounced check.

I'm not familiar with this casino and don't see an I-gaming rep listed right off. Perhaps someone else knows a good contact for this casino.

Lotus Asia invalid check

I've contacted them as of yesterday and am getting a runaround. I sent a copy of the check as rejected and also got the check itself and tore it into and sent that to them as well. They are still telling me that they have to put a stop payment on the check and that can take up to five business days. They won't issue my payout until then. Seems like more delay tactics.
Every behavior they have exhibited has been around delays and excuses. This doesn't seem like a good practice of business. I'm certainly not depositing there anymore.

Well good luck in getting the payment, just a bit of advise, don't tell them u don't intend to deposit there in future as they might not pay u realising u r never gonna play with them again anyway

Help with getting payout

I think I'm going to need some help with the withdrawal issues from Lotus Asia Casino. I've talked to them and they are NOT giving me a time of when they will send out my money to a different method (because the check was not valid) and they keep telling me they are waiting on the canceled check confirmation from their processor and that was started on Monday. Who might I reach out to in order to get some help with this? They don't seem the least bit concerned with paying me my withdrawal money that I've waited on since April 19th (other than sending a check that can't be used). Please advise?

Considering this guys were or are closely knit with Grand Prive. You probably won't find too many casino help forums or portals willing to help you. As they screwed over quite a few affiliates back in the day.

Then again as warned, it wouldn't be far fetched to have them try to screw over a player as well.

You could always try to contact Max over this topic, yet I'm not sure if he has any good contacts with them given there past rogue behavior.

Hopefully you get this all sorted out.

Unfortunately I think your going to have to wait it out until they get word from the processor that the check has been canceled. Try to not get too worked up over it. Hopefully they will get it sorted out quickly but it will probably take at least a week or 2 before they begin to send another payment.

Take this time to reflect on how to make sure to never have to accept a check as a payment from anyone again.
I opened a second bank account at a larger bank with a swift code so I could get wires. If you want to play at these places then you need to be sure you can be payed in an effective manner. I don't play anywhere that will only send me a check.

Lotus Asia continuing issues

Thanks for the advice. I usually request a wire transfer or payment to my card but they do not pay out to MasterCard, which is what I use and they don't offer wire transfer. I did not know they were associated with Grand Prive, but this explains some things! I will contact Max.

No help here

Hey. An update on Lotus Asia Casino. I still haven't received a payout from these guys but I do seem to be getting help from other watchdog sites (that seem to be legit from what I've read). I sent a message to Max about my issue and have not heard back yet. The other sites have responded to me and have sent requests to Lotus Asia. As a courtesy, I will post a final update on this site as to the results for other players to see. There is no information regarding this group (Lotus Players Club) on this site. Not sure why but was hoping to see CS have information regarding this casino group. Oh well. Thanks to other members for your response.

No information on this site?
Please go up to the right corner and search for the casino. I could find 9 pages

Maybe you wasn't told about the PAB option on this site, where Max are handling all complaints.
Sending him a pm about your issue won't help much, but on the top there is a tab or two about how to make a complaint here.

Great though that you managed to get help somewhere else.

No help

The Lotus Asia casino or Lotus Players Club has not been established as an accredited/warned/rogued casino on this site. That was clearly what I was referring to. It is nice to get help from a Watchdog site, so Thanks.

Also...

Also, If I post this complaint into another section of this site, I'll likely get scolded for posting more than once on the same issue or cross-threading. I posted in the Payment Issues section because it is the appropriate section, as listed in this site. I realize now though, that posting in this section does not warrant help with an issue. My bad.

What kind of help exactly do you want? Several people have shared their experiences with how bad checks usually work and it's a waiting game.
You were told about the PAB process that is available here for you to use.

There are forum rules and guidelines for a reason. I'm sure no one was trying to be mean to you by pointing them out.

Your post is in a perfectly fine location. I'm guessing that not many people have experience with the mainly US facing casino or they have no additional information to share that has not already been given.

I think you need to continue to pester the casino for a few more weeks. Unfortunately this is one of the down sides to being a player form the US. We have to deal with payment processing issues and they are sometimes not the casinos fault. I'm not saying they are not ultimately responsible, but some things are out of their control. They need to do their due diligence as well before issuing a second payment.

If you don't get paid by mid June then I would PAB. The info related to that is here:
https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/help/pab-rules/
be sure to read everything completely before submitting one.
