I attended the Live Gaming Summit in Barcelona last week. It was a one day conference for the suppliers and operators in the live casino space.

It was a small conference, interesting, but not as far reaching as I had hoped for.

On a personal level I made some good contacts, had some fun and won a bit of money in the Casino Barcelona.

For those interested I've written a more detailed review

Hi Neil,

If you do attend similar gaming summits in future could you kindly tell the providers there is no recourse if something goes wrong. Several times, whilst playing Evolution live games ie Sic bo and Baccarat I won but the software displayed a loss eg. i bet on BIG and they said I bet on SMALL. I never bet on SMALL so this is not possible. This happened to me twice and on another occasion I bet on PLAYER but was not paid. On that occasion, the casino intervened and I got the win back.

What couuld bedone is for the provider to check its recorded video of the game in question and show the player the bet was really made as the provider indicated. Evolutionhas refused to provide the video but this is a live game and surely they recorded each and every hand like land-based casinos.

Evolution and all live casino software providers operate a Business to Business model. They would never normally speak directly to players. A player's relationship is with the online casino. It's their job to raise and escalate issues with the software provider.

Evolution does have a team of customer support agents that operate on a 24x7 basis, whose job is to provide support to the casinos using the software and investigate and resolve any issues.

The casino is responsible for refunding bets etc., as Evolution or the other providers don't handle money; that is with the casinos.

Evolution does have recordings of all tables and hands, so they can investigate if necessary, but they would need information from the player logs from the user end to make an accurate assessment of what happened.

My advice is to lean on the Casino to see what investigation they have performed and whether they escalated it to Evolution and what Evolution's response was. It should be straightforward to see from your playing history what bets you placed and match that with what happened to see if there were any discrepancies.

Did you find out why Evolution refused to review the video?

Clearly evolution games are scripted & un live like we are led to believe, in fact its a scam, no way that any of there games are true.

They are live, I've wandered around quite a few studios including three of Evolutions. What you see on screen is what is transmitted from the studio. That is fact.

The problem is Evolution insists they are riht thouh the casino relayed my messae to them. They refused to check the videos and relay it to me despite a request from the casino. There was no explanation on why Evolutionn refused to review the video.
