First...i know they're not accredited here. However, i love their games and their player loyalty program is awesome. I also have found Dylan and their customer service to be very helpful.

Having said that...

i just made my first withdrawal (although i could have done so many times but ended up playing it out cause I'm an idiot!). Turns out i couldn't use the wire transfer (something about a swift code), so they ended up sending me a check. Received it the next day by Fedex! Here's the rub......bank says it will have to hold funds for three weeks and can't find anyplace that will cash it cause it's a canadian check!

Anybody have experience dealing with this?!

Honey, if you'd been keeping up... always deposit (do not try to cash) international checks -- and make sure it's with a bank that routinely handles such things. Then just leave it alone.... forget about it for a few weeks. Processors can disappear and checks bounce out of the blue, so it's best to just let the money lie till it fully clears.

Congrats on hitting that withdraw button!

Ummm....thanks? I am up on all that. My post was meant to see if anyone has had experience with Liberty OTHER than that. Thanks for the response though.

Hi there. I play at Liberty Slots and have been since their inception. I have had issues with their checks in the beggining, just as I have had issues with accredited casinos checks. You should have requested through live chat a withdrawal by Western Union. There is another thread I believe I started (do not remember when) about this issue with Liberty Slots check "bouncing" and unable to deposit (two different times.)

Took me 3 weeks to clear that mess up. Once I knew they would do WU for USA players, that is the only way I withdraw from there and any other casino I play at. USA players really have to start demanding other options, other than checks. This is NOT the way to withdraw from any casino, accredited or not.

Now that I have established this withdrawal option at a few casinos that will allow WU (many do not offer it unless specifically asked to do WU), I have my money, CASH people, in my hand in 4-5 days. It is AMAZING how good THAT feels.

Now, I do not recomend anyone to play at any casino not reccomended or not accredited here at the casinomeister. This is a personal choice for me because they have bent over backwards to give me good service, unlike other casinos that will NOT offer this service.

They have always paid and have stepped up to the plate to fix the check issue, so I believe if you choose a different option next time, you will be ok. Be very careful with the check deposit. Mine was returned, because my bank flags anything in canadian banking transactions anymore.

Sorry... must have misread your post. Typing before finishing my java is not a good thing. LOL

Haven't read of any major payout problems, so you should be ok.

CHECKS

I have had several withdrawal checks from Liberty. They have always been VERY rapid in arrival time.
In fact I just recently had a withdrawal from them AFTER I had one from Inetbet. I have received Liberty's but am still waiting on Inet's.

However, when depositing Canadian checks be sure that you mention to your bank if they don't recognize it that the check says USA dollars below the amount.

They only need to enter a different coding for Canadian banks than US banks. Therein lies their confusion.

I have never had one bounce, although it is always wise to delay use of any deposited checks.

As a matter of fact, I just recently wrote a large check to my daughter(we live on the same ranch), but
her bank (which is also mine) "pended" the deposit for several days before she could have taken any of the money.

So---while it is annoying, you just have to go with the flow!

Good Luck

I had a cashout back in early April, around $800 or so, withdrew by check so I know what you are talking about.

I did cash this at my bank, but then had a call hours later saying they just realized it was drawn on a Canadian bank and there should have been a 5 day hold PLUS a $15 fee. They waived the fee and the check cleared no problem.

I'll have to look at WU.

Bank Fee

I have deposited Canadian checks at two different banks and have never had more that $1.50 fee charged.

Until you get your bank "trained" its always best to tell them that it is Canadian in US dollars.

Many Tellers aren't versed well on the computer input until a Supervisor tells them how.
So---you have to be the informer.

I took checks for a while until the 2 problems arose with depositing them.

I have tried to deposit the check but it seemed the account number on one of the checks I received showed "invalid" when the teller tried to run it through the system. The other check, I decided to deposit it through the drive through and it was returned by both banks as no such account. So, if you do accept a check, make sure you wait the 30 days before using the funds.

Some banks are saying they can reverse a check up to 90 days for foreign checks. So be careful when taking one. Better yet, don't take checks!

.

why not call the bank its drawn on and ask if the funds are there to cover the check so you can write checks against it [of course we wait a week ] but at least I get to talk to alive agent on the Canadian side

Liberty is one of two casinos I play at every day. I just had an $1100 withdrawal and had a check in 3 days. Crazy good getting your money back that soon. I did take my check to my credit union one time and they said they couldn't take Canadian checks. But I have played there for over a year and my normal bank takes them with no fee. And it's not a big chain bank. Didn't even know they offered WU but I think I will ask for that next time. Highly recommend this casino.

There have been downright "arguments" on other threads in different forums about Liberty slots. I dont like them I am going to be honest, i dont trust them plain and simple. Some do and have never had a problem with them, some people trusted them for a long time the had a problem with them or had a bad check or had problems with them its going to depend on where you are and the person, some have no problems with them at all and good to go.. I just have this really bad feeling about them and cant explain it fully, you would have to look back and scroll through my postings about them. I jst highly advise to tread with caution

I agree. Having serious issues with accredited casino withdrawals, I have been shying away from those that lack customer support and hold withdrawals for days before even processing them. Liberty Slots has come through and is excellent in all areas that are imnportant to a player. Fast withdrawals. Withdrawal choices. Customer support. Money in hand within a few short days. Tell me which casino does that for the USA players nowadays?

I am still fighting over 2 withdrawals done back on the 4th of July and am told (DAYS LATER) that it hasn't yet been sent. WHY? I ask. Well, they pay in batches and mine seemed to have missed a few batches by accident? Oversight? No word about my withdrawals since..This is from an accredited casino. Customer support? No. Cash in hand? No. Fight for what is yours...YES, for weeks!

So, people, play where you like but if one gets screwed enough by accredited casino, you look for one that actually takes care of its player and, Liberty Slots has stepped up to the plate EVERY time for me unlike the one I am now disgusted with.

I have always said i wish casinos would offer Western Union as a withdraw option-more fees but less hassle IMO

Fair enough.

As a long time member, I assume you:

1. Contacted the accredited casino rep regarding your issue/s

2. Waited a reasonable time, and then posted here to see if others are having the same issue (or done so at same time as #1)

3. Submitted a PAB if necessary (possibly not in this case I guess)

There's nothing wrong with having a gripe about an accredited casino, and IMO there's nothing wrong with naming them either. Reason being is that it may be a widespread issue, but if everyone keeps it to themselves, then it will not become obvious to others members and the moderators.

IMO, stuff like this should be shared, if for no other reason than to keep accredited casinos on their toes.

It's great that you love LS. I just hope you never have an issue there, as it is possible that CM may not be able to assist....which I guess is the advantage of playing with an accred casino.

FWIW, July 4th was a Thursday, so the "weeks" (which is actually 11 days) you quoted includes 2 weekends, which makes it 7 business days. So, it guess it depends on what the accredited casino lists as their payout times. 7-10 business days seems to be the norm for US players for the most part IIRC, so your payout may not be "late" at all. How long does this casino normally take to pay? It is possible that it's an oversight....with humans involved it is always on the cards....however, unless you give the details, we don't know if it IS just you or if everyone is affected.

It's been a while since I've played there as I was playing way too much and needed to stop. But they do offer another method of withdrawing for those who work their way up the loyalty ladder a bit. I'm unsure of how high you need to go for it to kick in, would be worth asking CR.

Not sure if something has changed but I remember them making a big deal about not stating the specific method in forums. Just figured it was somewhat worth mentioning as they did have fast withdrawals when I played, and I enjoyed their games.

Swift Codes

Turns out i couldn't use the wire transfer (something about a swift code), so they ended up sending me a check.

I don't know why no one else sent you the obvious (to me) answer:
SWIFT codes are the same as the US wire codes, and are used across the globe. You can look up the SWIFT code for your bank at this excellent site
You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.

Then you can have it wired and no check issue. :)

sfcat,

Some banks don't have a SWIFT code. My bank, and it's a big military bank, doesn't use one.

Now, what I was told by a processor was to put ABA and then your account number for the SWIFT code. It worked for me more than once.

I also got a generic code from one accredited casino to use.

Just because you don't have a bank with a SWIFT code doesn't mean that all it lost with a withdrawal.

Yes, but

Yes generally, US banks have ABA, everyone else has swift, but he's Canadian. :-)

Most banks outside US have a swift. Even most US banks do too, you just have to find the right person to tell you! I called my bank to ask, got lots of "Huh?" answers, but when I eventually talked to someone in global banking, got a "Oh sure, it's -----"!

But first step, easiest step, is to check the list.

I have had this casino on my pc for over a year and still have not deposited.

I check their cashier every so often to see if they have added any other deposit methods. Nothing yet.

CC deposits minimum of $45.00 is not gonna happen from me. I usually stick to $20-$30. They do have Ukash, but I am not sure if the ukash you can buy now will work in their casino. "get a not for gaming" warning, then you are stuck with a ukash voucher.

You would think, if they ARE "related" to Jackpot Capital, they would add paste&pay as an option.

But, I do have a question:

They gave me $50 for my birthday in July. I played it and had a good time. I racked up $5 worth of "points".

Today, I decided to cash in the points and am now up to $45.00.

If I get this balance up to their "minimum" withdrawal, whatever that is, will I be able to cash it out? Having never made a deposit?

I wouldnt think so, cant think of any casino that wouldnt want a t least a minimum dep before a withdrawal, but you can always ask them :) who knows
but if you get your comps up to $1000 i dont think you would mind dep $20 :D
