Large Leovegas Withdrawal

definitely agree. Was having that conversation with a mate last night. I won’t ever get that much enjoyment from playing slots so may as well quit!

I wonder what the biggest win is on Final Countdown too?!?! That came up in conversation!

Also, crazy that LeoVegas will not allow me to withdraw but haven’t locked my account to stop me spending! Same moral as checking a big win and not checking a big loss I guess........

Well, I know a guy that has "invested" at least 60k into this slot and never had anything decent back from it. Mind, he always goes for the right hand bonus once it drops in after hundreds approaching a thousand spins!

In other words, you were extremely lucky and I suggest you never play the game again!

thats madness, but then again if you have 60k to play a slot with then you obviously have enough money in the first place!

i have always been pretty lucky with it, never really took too long for a bonus and had some great hits.....this one in the base was decent! i usually play at £4-8 a spin but seems whenever i have raised something happens so stuck by that method!

Either way, 8K a day would suit me fine :D

i hear what you are saying, but they wont let me withdraw ANYTHING until its verified, but i still have a playable balance so they are happy for me to potentially lose the lot, but not happy to allow me to withdraw it. Doesn't seem very responsible i have to say.......

the longer the clock ticks, the more agitated i am getting waiting to hear back from BTG on verification of the win

My experience with BTG verifications with Videoslots - although only related to unfinished gaming rounds, not a big win - is that it may take a few days for the casino to receive the provider's reply. You can opt to close your account for a few days if you're worried about playing it back.

i was told it would be done this morning and i would be advised by lunchtime on the status, after chasing on live chat, been advised an update will be provided by the end of the day.

i wont be playing, just find it morally wrong they will happily accept more funds / allow me to play, but will not give me what i have already won ?!

If they have sent it to provider to be reviewed, there really is not much they can do before provider is getting back to them. Like said here, you shouldn't have anything to worry that they wouldn't pay your winnings (without some very good reason which doesn't exist based on you have stated here).

For sure time is going slow when waiting that kind of amount to be on your account, but there's not much you can do to make it any faster.

Don't really agree that it's wrong from casino to let you play meanwhile if you don't yourself ask time-out or self-exclusion which they for sure do for you but would be bit unreasonable to block every players account once withdrawal is requested and keep it blocked until approved. If you want it closed, it's only take a moment to ask it from support.

forgive me for being uninformed on this type of thing but i don't know the process, other than i was advised they have to verify the game play which will be done this morning as everyone was at an event called ICE in London yesterday, and i would be updated at lunchtime today.

i just think it either works both ways or not at all, what if i played and lost the lot, would they verify the loss and await this from the provider? i think not. They wont let me withdraw anything, but will let me play. Just seems purely in favour of the casino, not the player. If it were me (the casino) i would be putting a play block on the account until everything is resolved, especially with such a life changing sum of money.

not having a moan, just an opinion on the whole thing.

Lets hope not!

Just ignore the bad vibe towards BTG. They are not every liked by some of this forum.

The ICE event is still ongoing but that should not be an excuse to verify your win.

I am sure it will be sorted soon for you.

I have tagged @Big Time Gaming so hopefully Nik may pick this thread up and can look into it for you.

Perhaps i am taking things to literally on here then. The Leovegas reviews on trustly don't make for comfortable reading though, naturally i have been browsing trying to find others who were / are in my situation!

the ICE event does seem a bit of an excuse, surely everyone from BTG was not at the event? i looked at that too, they do not even have a stand

cheers mate! perhaps its just me, but i would be updating customers even if there is nothing significant to update with, just as i do in my line of work. It goes a long way!

I just wanted to say congratulations and to tell you I I understand your pain. I had a big win a few years ago (over 100k), and received zero communication from the casino. 7 days later, funds arrived in my bank account. It was a nerve wracking week, but in hindsight, it was good to have that period to cool down and make plans.

I never had problems with Leo in the past cashed out a couple off times 30k + but with my last withdrawel they need again verification off the account. Then they keep stalling saying my adres was not right bla bla so I reversed the 2,5k balance and lost iT after that I quit playing at Leo one month later I get a e-mail that my account is verified. In Total I withdraw about 100k in 2018 never a problem! Hope you get paid soon congrats on youre awsome win

No need for any apologies, didn't mean anything like that, sorry :) Can only imagine how it feels to wait that such an amount showing on your bank account, hope you get it approved asap.

Blocking accounts is just one thing players actually hate happening for what ever reason, except if it requested. That really don't usually happen if you don't ask it, if you suddenly now got blocked and couldn't access your account, you for sure got your pulse to 300 and some kind of panic attack when your first thought would be, "is there something wrong and my money gone".

If you want to be sure that you can't spend any money, set loss limit of £1/month or something similar, that you can then raise to what you want, it takes 24h to take effect (increase, decrease or set limit take effect right away).

No worries! just praying i have some positive news later today - if i get palmed off again i will start to worry even further after the multiple promises of a call today. The guy i spoke to said the have someone else who is in the same boat waiting for verification on a £200k blackjack win yesterday! Utter madness.

I see your point with that, perhaps if they just play blocked it (i know VS do this from experience) to avoid the temptation of spending some of it / all of it! Luckily i have enough self control to not touch it and haven't done since the winning spin, just keep logging in to see if anything has been approved! I have a gut feeling i will not get the money for some reason, do not know why. Have not told any family or anything yet in case, just 1 trustworthy mate (and the whole of casinomeister haha)

Would love to see the stats - and there will be some - on days delayed for withdrawal vs reversed withdrawals. Very vaguely remember reading that reversed (lost) withdrawals accounted for circa 20% of Casinos income.

me too! i think the reverse withdrawal should be banned globally as i am sure this accounts for a lot of problem gamblers who do win, but end up giving it back twice as quick. Bold statement i know as if you have a problem you will probably spend it anyway, regardless where / when but at least it alleviates the initial temptation and allows you some time to assess and see the actual funds in your bank account as opposed to a balance on a slot.

Stats would be very interesting !

Woohoo! 1 to 3 banking days is the norm.

Just start compulsively checking your bank account every two hours. Time to start looking for way to escape to a bit of

Will definitely be doing that, more like every 2 minutes i would imagine! I suspect my bank may call me once it hits too.

i've just made my first purchase, a second hand golf club from ebay hahaha!!

Yup, your bank might contact you, but even they don't, i would ask proof of this winning from LV, it can be handy if your bank or any other place (like online casino in their SOW check) is asking you to proof your source of funds.

And it's nice memory to have.

Congratulations once again!
Hope you have alot of fun with the money.

As a little sidenote.
Next time, maybe start a new thread instead of taking your withdrawal business into the camel&honey thread.
sorry we derailed your thread.

cheers! will be doing the sensible thing and paying my mortgage off, will have more financial freedom in the long run month to month, instead of squandering a large amount of money over the course of a few years.

also, point taken re honey and camels haha

Yer...wouldn't feel the need to apologize for derailment of thread

Other than continuous hand-holding and reassurances that the OP'd be paid, everything had been covered already. We knew LV would cough up and that it'd be likely in one lump sum

So no one died I hope and all's well ends well

:D

Make no mistake, I'd read through the Yellow Pages 1988- 2019 twice if it meant being paid £165K

Im not sure i could do that.
Would be so boring the second time when you already know all the names and numbers.
Maybe for 200k

It’s the case that people with something good to say rarely review companies. All reviews skew negative, no matter the company.

People dwell on it and review if they feel wronged. Happy customers don’t think twice.

That would be good challenge to find good casino based on Trustpilot reviews :) Some selfmade positive comments of course can be done but majority not really positive.

yes very true when put like that, and i guess with the nature of the industry there will always be genuinely unlucky players who feel they have been wronged / cheated but are actually just bitter about losing.
