Laddies Jan Scratchies...

What again!!!!!

This has to be rigged:mad:

I have played these from the 5th, but this promotion has again been beset by one technical problem after another - this makes it much less fun than if everything works as it should.
The only 'technical issue' I had was when I didn't read the e-mails about the mid-month change so played the wrong slots for 3-days and then wondered why I didn't get any scratchcards... :o

I made that mistake, but never noticed because that part of the Email was not obvious. I remember checking the terms for game changes, and it mentioned none at all. although the previous month specified individual weekly periods, with the end date for the current game list given.

The latest technical error is that I was not credited because I appear to have been given the scratchcard for another user!!!! As the username is pre-filled, I never bothered overtyping it, just added my name and Email address.
Support said I should claim again, and that's when I noticed. My username ends in a 2 digit number, and it seems the other user is exactly the same except for the last digit, which increments the two digit number by one.

Support, then told me that my scratchcard claim had been credited in "my other account". This selection of bullshite made me see red, there has been a technical error at their end. I did read here about players reporting that some casinos had created "ghost accounts" for them without their knowledge, so I tried to see if I could log into this "other account", but it would not work, and if it WAS another account of mine, it WOULD work.

This is probably far too complicated for support to handle, it looks like a deep rooted screw-up, but I still have the worry that it is possible for very closely spelled usernames to get mixed up like this.

Apart from this, if they REALLY thought I had been playing scratchies in TWO accounts, they would surely have banned me (multiple accounts, promotion abuse; shot at dawn surely:D), not give me more scratchcards:confused:

Looks like Im not the only one having problems with these scratchies - still havent got mine from Monday (it was my first try by the way). I played Dino Might and deposited USD$50 etc etc which is equal to GBP25.

I wish they would find a better way to run this promo, as it is a good idea IMO

Given that the prize is in casino credits, I would have thought you would have to deposit only $25 and receive your winnings in dollars.

I did get a reply from support though, seems to have been a case of the old "cut 'n' paste" standard reply. When they were made to look again after my firey riposte, they quickly found they had simply made a typo when requesting the scratchcard, as due to an earlier problem, it was manually requested. I did, however, receive an extra 20, the equivalent of an extra couple of scratchcards.

Then, of course, I couldn't connect, and this was another technical error that seemed to only be affecting parts of the UK. Fortunately, it affected enough players for them to finally accept there was an ongoing problem somewhere, and it is being looked into.

I used to have 3 accounts at Laddies, of which I was offered promotions on all accounts.

They used to be fairly nonchalant about multiple accounts.

In fact, I don't think they give a toss, as long as you are spending/losing your cash.

Oh, and I haven't had a decent Scratchcard in ages.

Maybe... but your problems could start if you got lucky & hit a big win.
Is it really worth the risk...?
I don't think so.

I had to contact support a few days ago, and during that conversation I realised that I had two casino accounts with them. Not sure how that happened, but I was in a bit of a panic as I wasn't sure of the consequences. However, support's reply matched that of cheekymonkey.

Laddie's have no problem with multiple casino accounts, and will still give out bonuses etc. However what they will not allow are multiple poker accounts.

Hope this helps.

Errrm... did I ever mention before that I love Ladbrokes ...?
:yahoo:

Did I mention before that these scratchcards are rigged:D

Yes, it is what we all suspect about MG, if you bet really low, you tend to win more relative to your stake than those who bet bigger.

I have been playing 1.50 a spin, and have seen nothing like the 100 and 50 credit scratchcards that regularly fall into KK's lap:mad:

I would bet my house that these prizes aren't randomly distributed, but couldn't say whether it's intentional or unintentional. You start off well always, at the beginning of the promo, winning 5 or 10 each time. The suddenly they realise they giving out too much, and you start losing 2/3rds of the time, the other third is only ever a fiver.

As for the Kasino King winning 50, ipods & 100 regularily...seems odd when after 2months my highest win so far is 10 - I'm quite suspicious, but not his fault if in fact, someone at Laddies has read all this & pulled a switch up.At least he's posting his wins here for us to evaluate, and satisfy our curiosity.

they probably just look after there hi rollers! give them the big prizes and distrabute all the crap cards amongst us mortals :D

I also have 3 accounts with them. I didn't know how to change the deposit method so just signed up again to change method. I thought it should be fine as long as I didn't claim a bonus. Knowing what I do now about casinos I would never do something so risky!

After creating my 3rd account I made lots of deposits (around 400 worth) then my luck changed and I could not stop winning. I got up to 800 and had just hit some free spins. During the free spins I got a message saying "Casino error" I disconnected and tried to log back in but it said my account had been locked. I felt my heart sink to the ground.....

I contacted them expecting the worst but it turned out Paypal flagged my account due to the large amount of deposits to them....... it was all cleared up in a few days.

It is very odd how KK is the only one who posts with the big money cards.

I've had 26 this month made up of :

1 x 20
7 x 10
9 x 5
9 x 0

Wonder if its worth pooling all our cards together and looking for some negative power law in their value distribution or something! :D

Me, a high roller?
No way. I've been playing at 30p to 50p spins mostly, with the occasional 10 x1 thrown in.
Except one day it was 5 minutes to midnight so I played 10 spins on Major Millions at 3.00 - and lost 27!
But I have been very lucky, I have to admit (see below).

KK is just a jammy git. :p:p
Skillful git - please!

Ive claimed 2 cards this month - both ZILCH

What do you mean, like this?

Old Attachment (Invalid)

I've had lots of those too, but if you've only claimed 2 cards what do you expect?

I know some may think I'm making this up (which I am not), or that I am the jammiest bastard on the planet (which I may be ), but today I just got my SECOND 100 card this month!

:p

Yeah I know I only claimed 2 - but we have to deposit USD50 and doing that every day is a bit much for me. I stick to a budget these days so I dont have to sell my body on the street again. I reckon it would have been worthwhile to have a minimum win of $5....at least it beats getting zip, and it would equate to a maximum 20% bonus.

House player! Shill! :)

Just having a moan here.

So for the second time this month, I did not receive my scratchcard.

After 3 emails and this response....

Dear xxxxxx,

We do apologise if your previous email was not responded to. It did not appear to get through to us. [YEAH RIGHT].

We have today dispatched a scratchcard to you for your play on 31st January. It should arrive within a few hours.

We wish you the best of luck with it.

If there is anything else we can do for you, please do not hesitate to contact us again and we will be very happy to help.

Kind Regards,

xxxxxx

Ladbrokes Promotions Team

...I knew what they would send me:

Old Attachment (Invalid)

This is now three or maybe four times (over the past couple of months) they have made me beg for the f*****g card and everytime this happens they send me a zilch one.

Really pisses me off.

Why can't they just do their job properly in the first place. Idiots.

Just had to get that off my chest. :D

Jammy git, they only screwed up TWICE, and then fixed it in a day:mad:

I must have had some "technical issue" one day out of every two, most involved missing, delayed, or not credited scratchcards.

Each time, their first replay was as brainless as yours, but each time I pressed home the point they were forced to investigate, and they found THEY were in the wrong in all but one incident, and that was because they decided to change slots mid-month, but forgot to mention this in the promotional rules. I will, of course, be keeping a look out for them doing this again on the 15th, even though the rules clearly (debatable?) state that the games given are for the period 1st to 29th February.

1st February kicked off with an immediate technical problem, followed yet again by a brainless reply advising me to break the rules for Microgaming tournaments and create a second alias. I'm sure they have just shot this out again without bothering to properly investigate, which will probably reveal they have given the wrong advice, and that it is a software issue at their end - most likely due to them not using the MG registration system for players - I told them this, but all they could manage was to "thank me for my comments".

This bunch of jokers are accredited, why!

To be fair, at least you know you are dealing with a solid financial institution and you are going to be paid, quickly.

However, their customer support can sometimes (in fact most of the time) let them down. Occasionally you will find someone with a brain in fully functioning order who seems to know what they are talking about, but most of the time you end up with some ignoramus who insists on replying to you with a fixed reply set up on their function keys. I mean for crying out loud, it's so insulting.

I remember once replying thanks for something (which I never do anymore because I can't stand the automated/fixed replies you get) and I got a reply saying thanks for your thanks and if there is anything further we can help you with blah blah f*****g blah....

FFS, give me strength!

If you need any contacts VWM, I have some there so just let me know.

I would rather they provide a proper level of support - most players do not have access to "contacts".
Poor support, especially when it is consistently poor, should be a consideration when it comes to keeping accredited status. Many problems are caused when players follow incorrect advice from support. One can only imagine if the advice had been about using a second alias at POKER, this could have lead to severe problems, and would not just involve Ladbrokes.
The same can be said about the MG tournaments, if I act on this advice, and it turns out to be wrong (which is what I believe 100%), I would have ALL my MG accounts that offer these "flagged", not just at Ladbrokes. I would then have to convince MG central that I am not a "scammer" trying to enter more than once, but have followed instructions from one of their casino operators, and MG will not believe this because they will say "One of our operators would NEVER give out this advice, because it is CLEARLY against the terms of the tournament network".

Apart from the many problems, January yielded the following:-

Bugger all = 8
5 Chips = 9
10 Chips = 8
15 Chips = 2
25 Chips =1
50 Chips = 0
100 Chips = 0 (KK had them all)
1000 Chips = 1 ;):D

Inconvenience chips = 20
problems with CS = Too Many

February has started badly, with a 5 Chip love heart, one technical problem, and one "brainless" reply from CS.

They have also made a cock-up in the rules, but the Mark of Medusa slot does indeed work for getting the love hearts the next day. I am playing at only 50p a spin, around the level of KK, to see if I can get all the 100 love hearts this month:p

That's double my starting level - I begin on 25p.
February is going to be very hard; Mark of Medusa is a mind-numbingly boring slot! :(

I'm not sure about the other slot - Wheel of Wealth - I only played it once ages ago & can't remember what it's like...?

Anyway - I gave you a 2-day head-start to try for the 100's as I only started today.

Good luck!

Quite, why do you think I opted for 50p:D

As for Wheel of Wealth - which one:confused: Microgaming offer THREE variants, one a 3 reel, one a 5 reel, and one a 3 reel bonus version, although that is called "Spectacular wheel of wealth".

I tried for the roulette promo, but have not won a SINGLE spin, nor one of the 50 prizes either. Wagering 25 on Roulette (without looking like a "promotional abuser") seems to cost 25:mad:

I can't play the Tomb Raider Tournament promo because CS are "brainless" and can't come up with advice I can trust.

Yes - they are not terribly clear on that.
But on the promo page there is a link that goes to a description of a 5 reel 25 line slot called "Wheel of Wealth"
Of course, Ladbrokes casino doesn't have a slot called that :eek2: so I would assume they mean "Wheel of Wealth - Special edition"

Tell you what - I'll let you try it first and you can tell me if you get a scratchcard... :p

Well you could do 2 spins covering all 37 numbers - that would only cost you 2.
But with only 3 prizes a day between how many 1000's of Ladbrokes customers...?
Even I don't fancy those odds!
I wont be doing that one.
;)

Neither am I now, I'll just stick to the broken hearts.
