just been playing laddies live casino, got dealt a 10 v 10, dealer then goes into shoe and pulls out a card which shes turn side onto to me (what the fuck that my card!!!!!) she then pulls another put of the shoe and puts its on mine (8 i think it was) and the ace is promptly put down on her 10.

this all happened and i'm obviously thinking ive got the the wrong end of the the stick here, but i'm watching for it happening again and she fucking does it again (i.e. the card what would of made me the winner was dealt to her). so the the trick is from these webcam peoples to take the card from the shoe, turn it side on (so it disappears) and then quickly get another from the shoe.

believe me, i did not imagine this and i have already discussed the matter with ladbrokes security.

Interesting! The live dealer is run by a third party for Ladbrokes Casino and is not operated in Gibraltar, I believe it is Costa Rica.

This is the type of thing you'd want to get on Video. I use Camtasia in videoing a lot of my sessions. It might be worth a try.

Scrollock, I've been in contact with a former colleague of mine at Ladbrokes who is the Customer Services Manager for Ladbrokes in Gibraltar regarding this issue with Live Dealer.

Actually, irrespective of this particular case, this raises a very interesting issue.

In a land casino, you'll have several ppl around a table so this sort of stunt won't be pulled - even if an honest mistake occurs, it will be quickly dealt with. Online, you're oblivious to the other players, or at least probably not able to chat with them I guess, so it's just you vs. the dealer. Also, how many players are going to set up video grabs for every session they play? Plus, of course, there's no "Playcheck" facility so it really is your word against theirs.

This would make me very nervous of playing online against a live dealer to be honest. Not something I, or maybe many others, had ever considered! Also, how do you know the roulette real is legit, the pack has all 52 cards present or even that the video feed isnt being tampered with?

Maybe there's something to be said for the accredited RNG and automated (ie: non tamperable!) game logs after all!

I'm not saying this happens of course, just that it "could" happen, even an innocent dealing mistake could occur inadvertantly.

Casinos I have been to have cameras everywhere, and if you have a disagreement, for example, you believe the dealer paid you incorrectly, you can get the tape reviewed. Live dealer online casinos should be able to store the the video they are transmitting. The typical transmission rate is 120 kb/s, which works out at just over 1GB for a whole day without compression and storage is cheap these days.

I believe Grandmaster is correct. It would be very ignorant of any casino: online or otherwise to not have some sort of security camera set up on every table.

Ladbrokes should be able to view the situation and act appropriately.

If they don't have a camera on each table then I would think this is a long-overdue wake up call. HELLO?

Geez how cheap ... or ignorant can you be? but I'll stop ranting as I'm sure they had a camera set up.

Haveing been in Costa Rica I can only make hearsay comments. I had an employee who had worked in the live casinos in Costa Rica and she showed me some things that the dealers there were taught, like pulling the second card from the shoe if they knew the first card was a 10, since the cards were marked, or manipulate the roulette ball in the cage. He also told me that when the on line casinos were opening with live dealers he said that they were being taught to manipulate outcomes. I have no factual knoweldge, I just know I have never played in any of the "live" on line casinos.

I highly doubt Ladbrokes would partner with a company less than whiter than white. The Live Dealer was in progress of being added to the casino as I was leaving Ladbrokes so alas I do not have much knowledge about it.

I have PM'd Scrollock the details of the person he needs to speak to at Ladbrokes and he will ensure it is thoroughly investigated once he receives more information.

Do let us know what happens here. I too can't believe Ladbrokes would have any kind of policy for ripping off punters - they just have too much to lose. But given it's outsourced, there is always a remote possibility that the other company is less scrupulous.

Personally I avoid the live games completely - it's just too slow and frustrating. If I want to play with others I go to my local casino, where I can have drinks and food brought to my table

I have had problems with racehorses (ladbrokes game) that is also outsourced.

Ladbrokes admitted it is almost impossible to get refunds from them for ANY reason and is run by a small office with just 2 staff. All gains are their own so verge on the illegal side of things...


Ever noticed that Live roulettes camera follows the ball late,and that its not realtime, (ie the ball is landed before you see it on camera from lag).

The callers/girls movements are not uniform either, just watch and see.

One thing I dont like about these casinos is their video stream quality which is somewhat less than good. A solid 400kbps stream whould show crystal clear everything but this ain't the case. Even the motion is sometimes disrupted which is dodgy. Why?

I think if there was a way to find out what the actual rate you're getting, it'd shed a light on things. That, along with dropped packets along the way, retransmits, etc, could be the reasons behind it.

edit: Chances are it's true they're a shady company, so in prepreation for complaints, they've got the crappiest connection they could find so they can blame it on the network.

I can't recall if they only did this on certain hands, but I know they can, and will, do everything in their power to throw you off your game. They'll play with everything besides the BJ hand, talk to the other dealers, etc. while making you sit there and twiddle your thumbs waiting for them to continue the game. This is the sole reason I quit playing "live" BJ.

As a youngster I used to log in to many sites with online live feeds and even though their content was objectionable they always used to have the bitrate of the stream on display and the quality was amazing . Later on as I expanded my knowledge on computers I discovered certain programs that let me know whats the bitrate of any live video. I have yet to try it but am certain that their video has a low bitrate hence the less than crystal clear quality especially when we consider that it comes from a casino. As it is now it ain't no 'live'

sweetdenny, i use to work for a uk bookmaker, and this is a standard excuse for when they have investigated and found that your complaint is 100% correct. the lost "footage", "records" etc is their way of being able to pay you without admitting liability.

could you imagine the uproar on this forum if ladbrokes had written back and said "yes we have investigated your complaint and you are correct our third party live dealer source is actively engaged in cheating"

Here's my 2cents.

At the end of the day, Ladbrokes is still a company. What does companies care about most of the time? Well... it doesn't really take a genius to figure out, of coz, they care about the $$$. All the "dollars" and "cents" that is associated.

Ladbrokes is no different. What does ethics and fairness has to do with anything? It's all still comes down to MONEY. The more they could earn from you is the better they are.

So, in this case, no matter what the outcome might be, Ladbrokes will of course, 100% surely take care of themselves 1st, then you.

Cheating or not, I'm not sure but I am sure about 1 thing. The "live" dealer site earns from the players' loss. Each time we lose real money, they win some, the casino wins some.

i have played couple times at casinowebcam and after playing some sessions, i was sure that there is something fishy. i have spent a reasonable time in land casinos and i knew that live casino on internet is just a scam . nothing live there. thats what i feel. and i will not doubt about this thread. ofcourse something is going wrong there.
