Changing the rules wont change anything.
Guess who will win if rules are changed?
People doing the minimum allowed and/or using the rules to their advantage, just like it is now.
And then this discussion will pop up again.

I think for things to change, a purge of the people clearly abusing the lax rules are needed.
The great comp-cleansing.
But i understand why Jan does not want to be "that guy" doing such things.

100% agree however it would take jan FOREVER to check every single account and every single game they have played to work out the RTP ect, I do think if you win a prize you should be checked to see if you have been abusing the competition some how, I just think the higher the amount of spins to qualify the better as regardless if your doing 1 line or 20 lines over a longer period of spin the RTP is more like it should be, so if your doing 500 spins in a week and getting a low RTP is more fair UNLUCKY doing 100 and getting low RTP

Can't really do that as its an all games promo. You can't decide that one player can't play a certain game because it doesn't suit you. If that's the case then I suggest no slots that are considered high variance at all or no slots that have a buyin feature for non UK players. Or any slots that have an rtp of over 94% also perhaps we shouldn't allow games that you can bet over 20 pence. See where this is going? Everyone wants the competition to be in there own favour. I'm sure if this was set to possibly a highest rtp for one month then you could possibly get new or old winners. As I said each week 100 spins. For the monthly you need to have taken part in all the previose weeks before hand.
 
Poor Jan :(

He just can't seem to get it right for doing wrong.

It may be an option that any one person can only win a weekly one once in any given month, then everyone has the opportunity for the monthly one.

It just always appears to be the same people winning not just these comps but others too with the minimum spend and the minimum effort - lets play fair folks and give everyone a chance. :)
 
At the end of the day, it is only one person who is blatantly taking the piss ( Cough Nikan).

Not only is he taking the piss out of Jan, he is taking the piss out of every one of you who enters the comp.

The idea of this comp is great (award the losers some money back) But the rules are flawed and can't really understand what L&L gain from it, as the way it's set up, it's rewarding people to play less spins.

It isn't supposed to be though, its based on trust that players don't take the piss. Obviously that trust is misplaced with certain members.

I wonder why there are so few comps on here now. The big casinoeuro one that was on here a couple of years back was abused quite badly too.

All it seems to have done is bring animosity in this thread.

Looking back at some of the previous results, Couple of others seem to stop at 100 spins when it suits them and claim that's all they could afford:rolleyes:

Scott and Jamie should get their moral compass checked also.
 
Come on people. The main reason Jan, or anybody running a comp , will get fed up is because of all our bickering and mud slinging.

Some more constructive attempts at a rule change would be of more benefit than moaning about whats happened.

How about we get together with some constructive ideas rather than moaning about whats happened and is done?

I dont think Jan wants to be checking if people are spinning on one line as i imagine it will be a lot more time consuming.

Put your moans to bed and come up with a suggestion or just dont bother posting - If you have nothing good to say then dont bother saying it as its already been said 10 x over in the thread.

I feel privileged to have the opportunity to win something over and above the average player because of my CM involvement. You should feel the same and not want to ruin it.

I will repeat this one. @RyanABC already likes it.
Perhaps with a small change: RTP < 95% and cap the denominator of the formula at 5000

i am confident about 3 taking the piss, and on the fence about 2/3 more if truth be told. But it’s not my comp. not my house.

There are a few people who are arguing in there own favour but many trying to look for even and fair solutions.
It’s the line between the addicts and players.

But as for you! You will spout endlessly to keep things as they are because you are one of the self-serving members of our community.
You clearly showed your stance and viewpoint a couple of weeks ago with your comments regarding loyalty. All about what you can get by working just within the rules.

And this is definitely my penultimate post here so no point in quoting and replying to this.

For example:

RTP 80%, spins 2000, score 80*2000/2000 = 80
RTP 20%, spins 250, score 20*2000/250 = 160

So with the formula the one with RTP 80% gets the prize because he has lower score (because of the 2000 spins he did).

So me depositing £10 all I "could" at the time afford playing 10/20p spins on novomatics/greentube my fav type of game makes me need to check my moral compass?, Like come on now I have even said in the past Im not taking part in some weeks as Ive won before only doing the bare minimum NOT BY CHOICE and ive felt guilty that I can not spent as much as others there for not been able do do 1000s of spins and I felt like others should win as why should I win when I dont hardly play. You have no idea of anyones Fiances and how much people can afford to play ect, I have said MANY times to Jan to change the rules to UP the amount of spins, I have also told Jan he should check peoples accounts to see if they are cheating so to speake. If by uping the amount of spins makes it so I DNQ there fair enough I aint bothered but I do think that having more spins is the only fair way forward which ive said for a while now even when having a low amount of spins had made me money.

I think this is a much fairer system. My only hesitation was around Kroffe's result and being the winner (nothing personal buddy its just i dont see 18,000 spins at 109% as being unlucky and neither do you i think).

To prevent this i agree with Nikantw's idea of a cap on the number of spins and to qualify your RTP must be below 95%. Kroffe may still have won as his RTP may have been lower over his first 5000.

Now i know there are ways to play this also but its a much fairer system more open to a variety of winners, hopefully.

To the members who want out, please dont, please! Together we can make these competitions epic and i prefer a full leaderboard and love you all even if we disagree - i always say better to be vocal than to keep quiet.

I just want to support the CM exclusive promos that are provided by the reps and casino's win or lose so whatever keeps folk sweet is all. I've probably done about 1000 spins already this week when I could have played 100 spins at 20p on one line. But that would just be plain wrong

Again though, that system does appear to reward luck rather than bad luck.

Generally, I think the system is fine as it is.

Not at all. It simply gives greater value to the bad luck from a greater number of spins.
The 2000 multiplier and the 5000 cap can be smaller if people feel they are too high for small budgets.
For example it could be 1000 and 2000.
 
Currently people are leaving the comp because it can be manipulated.

Happy to leave this scenario as it is but i think the new suggestion is much fairer.

Just look at the original leaderboard and the amended one and i think you will see this way is better.

No fuss if everybody wants t keep the same. Just dont like to see people leaving the comp thats all.

Edit: Another suggestion, if Jan is agreeable, would be to trial this and if it doesnt work to the majorities liking, change back.

In case you hadn't noticed I kinda gave up on the comp and decided to play different games hence the 11k spins last month. Al I was saying is that of course people would love to change the rules to better themselves who wouldn't. Which is why it shouldn't be changed if its an all slot comp then that's the game. And it is a game its not meant to be taken seriously its an add on. If your playing your usual game and get a prize woo hoo if not then I hope you got a cash out. I really don't see why your having a go at me. Try having a go at the actual people who are playing to win each week and month. Now that's clear, very clear. And as as loyalty? I deposit at Allbritish every week sometimes two or three times a week. Depending on how I do at other sites. So my loyalty to all British doesn't apply. Your forgetting one thing. L&L Europe are here to make money don't forget that one little bit. Also you should probably stop taking part in certain members own run comps if your really that much against them winning. That's me done with this topic.

I was trying my best to get 110% rtp, and missing by only 1%.
If thats not bad luck, i dont know what is.
