Kitty love

Shango (one of my 2 cats) just brought me a gift, as I'm sure several of yours have done for you.
He wasn't impressed that I wasn't impressed, so he flipped it up on the couch and gave it to his dog.

Needless to say, he wasn't impressed either. :P

Do yours bring home mice, bats, birds? (this is his third, but thankfully hasnt dropped one in bed for me)

Its really crazy that they do this because of their instincts. I once asked a vet why they do it and he said its because they are natural born hunters and they have no kittens to do it with so since you are their loved one, they bring it to you either as a gift or because they know we are not hunters so they do the work for us. Yeahhh cause I want to cook up that mouse for breakfast :eek2:

My moms cat used to bring them on my bed in the middle of the night. So gross. Safe to say I kept my door shut alot of the time :o

p.s. your doggy doesnt look impressed lol

ahhh i was like your dog when i once opened the door and saw a half eaten italian type pigeon in front :eek2:
i buy her all the kinds of cat food yet still she hunts birds and frequently catches gray pigeons which are very fast and intelligent, plays with them until they die, eat a little then abandons them.
she gave born to 3 babies 3 weeks ago and im in a such a stress for when they will grow that yet again no one will want any and will end up in the block gardens where will end killed by homeless dogs or poisoned by disgusting communist elder junks, only if i knew exactly who to smash his head and make necklace from bone fragments. currently i enjoy them every day, but when they grow enough i have no space and their mom will beat them, is a cat thing. is the third series of baby cats she made into house and never cease to amaze me what a mother she is taking care in the most lovely manner. ill take them a pic later ill borrow a good camera device.
